Hiccup's POV

We reached the docks and found a small sailboat, big enough for a large stack of fish and 4 fishermen. Allysa and I climbed in and began sailing away from the island. Once it got out of view, I took a deep breath and slumped onto the bench in the boat. Allysa was at the front.

"Well we made it out. Sucks we didn't find anything out about Henry though." I said and leaned farther back.

"There has to be a way to find details. Do you really expect me to just forget the two years that I rotted in that cage!" She shouted.

"Easy Allysa. I'm not telling you to forget about it, I'm just telling you that you shouldn't investigate anything. You could end up right back where you were." I said and stood up. She slumped into a seat and put her head in her hands.

"You're right. I need to get over it. Which way to Berk?" She said and bolted up from the seat, grabbing a map. "Oh wow. We got a long boat ride ahead of us."

"It'll be faster if we ride Toothless." I said. I packed Toothless's bags and climbed on, then helped Allysa up.

"So this is safe right?" She asked.

"Well as long as you hold on you should be alright." I said. She gripped my waist and we took off from the small sailboat.

-3 hours later-

It's been 3 hours of flying and there isn't an island in sight. In all directions all I can see is ocean. Of course we have no choice but to keep flying, but we need to find somewhere to land soon because all three of us are tired.

"Find anything?" I asked.

"Nothing in sight." Allysa replied. I let out a sigh and turned back forward. Just then, Toothless started nudging me with his head.

"What is it bud?" I leaned down and asked him. He made a sharp right turn and headed toward a spikey-ice place. Moms sanctuary that's perfect! "Nice job Toothless!"

"Where are we going?"

"An island where we can stay for the night. I know the way home from this place." I said.

"So you've been to this place? It's made of ice how can it be safe for us?" Allysa asked.

"It's perfectly fine trust me on this." I said and we flew into the cave.

It was just the same as before. All the dragons were here including the Bewilderbeast. I set up a small fire and lied down by it. Toothless was fast asleep on my right side, with his tail covering his face. I let out a small laugh.

"Woah this place is incredible!" Allysa shouted from the top of a tall rock.

"Yeah I love this place. This is where I first met my mom after 20 years of her being missing." I said and lied back down.

"Your mom lived with dragons for 20 years?" She asked.

"I think it's best if she tells you the whole story. You'll meet everybody tomorrow." I said.

"I'm excited! New home, new start, new friends it'll be great!" She exclaimed.

"Ok now go to sleep we leave early tomorrow." I said and rolled to my side. Once I got comfortable, I fell fast asleep

-it's now lé morning-

I woke up to all the dragons flying around as usual. There were scuttleclaws attacking Toothless, forcing him to wake up with a startle. I laughed as he tried to get the baby dragons off of him.

"Rise and shine Allysa we leave in ten minutes!" I said and got up. I heard a groan from a tall rock and saw her hanging like a bat. Just like the twins always do from that beam in their house.

"Why so early?" She grumbled.

"Because I want to get back home. I have things to take care of." I said and walked over to Toothless.

"Okay fine. I'll be up in 5 minutes."

Astrid's POV

Hiccup's been gone for 5 days now and I'm getting REALLY worried. Like, crazy-worried. I can't stop thinking about him. Not having him here is like not having half of my heart.

"Alright Astrid go meet your friends at the academy. Stoick and I are going on another search party." Valka said and put her armor on.

"I'll take her just to be safe. Val, meet me at the docks." Stoick said. Valka gave an approving nod and flew off.

"This is really unnecessary." I groaned.

"No this is needed. You could be in danger and we are not just going to let you walk around the island unguarded." Stoick argued.

"I can defend myself!" I retorted.

"You're not fighting anyone right now due to your condition." He said. I sighed and crossed my arms.

We got to the academy and everybody was there. They were all going about their own business. Fishlegs reading with Meatlug, Tuffnut sleeping on Belch with chicken in his hand while Ruffnut drew on his face and Barf sniffed his chicken, and Snotlout was looking at himself in a mirror he had just gotten from Trader Johann yesterday. Typical gang.

"Morning guys." I said to get their attention. They all snapped up from what they were doing. They all burst into laughter, including me, when we looked at Tuffnuts face.

"What? What's so funny?" He asked, obviously confused. But when is he not confused I mean come on. This is Tuffnut.

"Your face!" Snotlout managed in between laughs. Tuffnut snatched his mirror and looks at his face.

"Did I get tattoos?" He said. We all laughed even harder.

"No you idiot it's charcoal!" Ruffnut said and pushed Tuffnut off of Belch. He landed flat on his face, and just layed there.

"I'll get you back for this Ruffnut!" He shouted while his face was still on the ground.

"Someone seems less stressed today." Fishlegs said as he stood next to me.

"I'm not less stressed, I'm just trying to keep my stress level down. It's unhealthy apparently." I said while staring at the twins, who are still fighting.

"You know he'll figure out a way to get back here. This is Hiccup, he would do anything to get back home." Fishlegs said and gave a comforting grin. He was right, but I just wanted Hiccup back soon.

"I just wish he would be back soon."

Valka's POV

Stoick and I led half of the search party in opposite directions. I went towards my old sanctuary, while Stoick went towards some islands that have known about what Hiccup has done. I don't know why but I just got this feeling that he would go to the sanctuary. He loves it there. I sent my search party back to Stoick just incase I did find something, I wouldn't have to fly everywhere to get everybody together. So I was by myself flying to my old home. Once I got there, it was just the same as before. All the dragons were here and so was the beloved Bewilderbeast. I do sometimes miss this place, but I'm much happier being with my family again.

"Ok I'm getting up geez calm down I'm just trying to sleep!" I heard someone shout. It sounded like a girl, about Hiccup's age. Maybe she's seen him!

"Who's there?" I shouted back.

"Wait woah there are other people here? How long have you been here?!" The girl shouted back.

"I just got here. Now who are you?" I shouted back and went towards the voice.

"My names Allysa." She said. She came down from a large rock that she was hanging from like a bat. She had long, dark red hair that went own to her lower back. She was average height, with black leggings, black boots, a brown shirt with a fur cloak.

"Hi Allysa I'm Valka. I have a quick question, have you seen anyone flying around on a black dragon?" I asked.

"Well yeah he's behind that corner but we were just about to head back to his home island." She said. I quickly ran around the corner she pointed to.

"Hiccup?" I asked when I got around the corner.

"Mom? What are you doing here?" He responded when he turned around. I ran over to him and hugged him. He hugged back and we stayed like that for a few minutes.

"We have been sending out search parties everyday and I had this weird feeling that you would be here!" I said once we broke apart from our hug.

"Yeah we just stopped in here for the night we were actually about to fly back." He said.

"How did you escape?" I asked.

"Well I woke up in a prison cage, chained to the floor. The chains were long enough for me to be able to go to the door, but that was it. So I asked if anyone else was in the prison, and surprisingly there was. Her name is Allysa. She was imprisoned there for 2 years. So her and I figured out ways to escape and get off the island without being seen." He explained.

"Do you know who kidnapped you?" I asked.

"Some guy named Henry. That's all we know though. We were not going to stick around and see who he was." He said. That name is so familiar...

"We need to find Stoick and the rest of the search party and get you back to Berk." I said and started walking towards Cloudjumper.

"Don't you guys have some sort of call?" He asked and mounted Toothless.

"Yes but I'll do it when we are a little closer to the direction he went in." I responded.

"Okay. Allysa come on we're leaving!" He shouted. She came running back and hopped on Toothless.

-about 30 minutes later-

We finally got to where Stoick and I split up.

"Okay on my command, have Toothless roar as loud as he can. Cloudjumper will do the same, so all of us will probably have to cover our ears. Ready?" I said. He gave an approving nod. "Now!" I said and they both roared louder then ever before. We all covered our ears from the ear splitting noise. Once they stopped we uncovered our ears to listen for a response.

"Hear anything?" He asked. I waved my hand, signaling for him to be quiet. When he was silent, I heard a faint roar in the distance.

"They heard us. We have to do it again. We made a code, one roar means meet up, 2 means you're back." I said and signaled for the dragons to roar again. We covered our ears.

Stoick's POV

The search party and I were flying over the ocean. There were no islands in my direction so I figured he couldn't possibly be here.

"Alright we turn around and go in a different direction." I commanded and we turned around. But when I turned around, I heard a roar in the distance. I had Skullcrusher roar back. Then, I heard a second roar. "Hiccup has been found!" I cheered to the group. We all erupted into cheers. I flew back to where we split up, figuring she would be there. After about 10 minutes, 2 dragons were in sight. One had four wings and the other was pure black. I flew in front of them.

"Hiccup!" I shouted.

"Hey dad!" He shouted back and gave me a smile.

"Who's this?" I asked pointing to the red head behind Hiccup.

"Dad, Allysa, Allysa, Dad." He said.

"Nice to meet you sir." She said. I smiled.

"She helped me escape. Turns out she was locked on that island for 2 years." He responded. "Hey how about you ride on Cloudjumper for a little bit I gotta talk to my dad about something." He said. She nodded and jumped off Toothless, landing on Cloudjumper.

"Dad can she come and live on Berk?" He asked.

"What's wrong with her island?"

"Well you see she's kinda like how I was when I was 15, you know, kinda like a disgrace to the village, causes trouble every time she steps outside, and plus, nobody came to save her when she got kidnapped. So she really doesn't want to go back to her island and family. And I can't let her just go back to a life of misery!" He said.

"Fine she can live on a Berk. I'm sure we have a spare house she can stay in." I said.

"Thank you dad!" He said and flew to Allysa to tell her.

Whoop whoop new chapter!

Sorry it's a little late I slept basically all day today.

Enjoying summer break while I still have it!

I start school in like 19 days...

I don't wanna be a freshman...

Bleh.....

I haven't even gotten supplies or a backpack or new clothes.

Anyway enough about school because that's a downer topic
