Ok so basically it's a Chinese holiday. I doubt any of you have heard of it but it's awesome.

The story behind it is basically about the Chinese people wanted to go back to how they were before, but idk the details. Apparently they were different.

So then they had this secret plan and needed all the citizens to cooperate, so they stuck pieces of paper inside some mooncakes which had the plan written on it and sent it out to all the people.

So they carried out that plan but they failed...I think?

Basically, what you do on Mid Autumn Festival is:

- eat mooncakes
- go to a park and carry lanterns
- play with glowsticks
- do what China always does. Stare at the moon. Why? Because it's brighter than usual in Mid Autumn Festival. Idk why though.

Oh and the lanterns and the glowsticks and going to the park is totally optional, you don't have to do it if you don't wanna, its just that my dad and I do it every year.

IT'S MY CHILDHOOD

Like, I know I'm a teenager in 10th grade, but no thing's gonna stop me from playing with lanterns and glow sticks and running around like little kids XD

But heyyy it's fun!

Mid Autumn Festival is one of my favorite holidays, like seriously.

You have no idea how long I had been waiting to eat the mooncakes.

Speaking of mooncakes...

This is a mooncake. Or a section of a mooncake.

This is what the whole thing looks like.

It's filled with lotus paste and egg yolk.

The egg isn't like wet and gooey it's like...idk how to say it, but I showed the photo up there.

Oh and this was my lantern :)

It's a really simple and common one but it looks nice

I think it's supposed to be some kind of fruit??
