Before we start, I'll tell you something good that's happened to me today.

Today is awards day and basically I got a honours award. Yaaayyyy.

Oh and that I finished the first two seasons of Black Butler in two days. Yaaaayyyy again.

So then after the event had ended, I went to the library to get my report and also cuz apparently I didn't return some book.

So then I was talking to my friend about the anime con at the end of July, then she saw another of our friends and told me that this friend likes Black Butler too.

And I was like oh cool! It's awesome knowing another friend that likes Black Butler too!

But then she asked me who her favorite character was, and of course, I said Sebby. Because who doesn't love Sebastian.

Then the friend frowned and said "But he's mine..."

So I just frowned at her. I didn't say anything though. Cuz that would be just rude.

Why was I frowning? No, it is not because the friend likes Sebby. I mean, it's totally fine to have him as a favorite character. We can all fangirl about him and be happy. Yay!

But those two words "he's mine". Now THAT'S what set me off.

Now I'm going to be a bit harsh, but the truth is harsh so I'm just going to hit you with it.

No, Sebastian Michaelis does not belong to ANYONE.

Sebby isn't a piece of property, nor does anyone own him.

Except probably Ciel. He is Ciel's butler after all. Oh, and the creator of Black Butler too.

Let Sebby be the happy kitty lover he wants to be.

Just because you've watched Black Butler longer doesn't mean that you can take ownership of a character.

Just because you've got Black Butler merchandise doesn't mean you can take ownership of a character.

Some people can't afford to have merchandise.

No. It does not work that way.

If you think it does, then you are a complete idiot.

"He's mine" This is by far one of the most immature phrase I've heard from a fangirl. I'm sorry.

This is so immature. Why do you think a character belongs to you because you say so?

This is one of my most hated pet peeves. Even though I've done this before. I've learned this the hard way.

See, look at Hope and I. We both like Black Butler, we both like Sebastian, but do we fight about it and say "he's mine"?

No, we do not.

Anyone who says "he's mine", are you TRYING to start some war with anyone here?

*facepalms*

I really hate it when people say that.

It's a really annoying pet peeve that I have.
