Thirty-Nine
"If you know then why haven't you expelled me yet?" I ask Nezu, Eraser's expression is hard to read but I'm willing to bet that there is a bit of shock at the intel.
"Because you're not a villain." Nezu answers "I don't think most villains would not only approve but encourage their comrade to become a Hero, and also assist in protecting future heroes."
"Like it matters." I keep my poker face "I've done things that everyone else would frown upon and cause people to question if I'm really hero material, more so than Bakugo."
"Did you use your actual name?" Eraser asks "Or your quirk? Anything, really, that could identify you?"
"No, of course not. Only two people actually know, and one that I suspect might but hasn't mentioned it."
"Then why does it matter what everyone else thinks? Toya is using the same alias as he did as a villain."
It matters because I know. I know what I did. "Alright, since I can safely assume neither of you will take no as an answer, plus knowing my brothers and Shinso, I'll accept your offer."
"Excellent!" Nezu smiles "Both you and Mr. Shinso will be placed in Class A. The students are going to be taking their Provisional Hero License Exam this summer before term starts. I know Mr. Shinso isn't remotely ready for the exam, nothing for him to be ashamed of,but I feel like you are, if you'd like."
I give a sigh "Might as well, I didn't get to knock some egos down the Sports Festival."
—
Thwack! "What the fuck was that for?!" I yell at Hitoshi as we walk to the train station.
"For questioning why the you should be in the Hero Course when it's pretty fucking obvious on why you should." my boyfriend states before taking my hand in his.
"So did they tell you which class you're in?" I ask, I know obviously but I don't know if Inva-Sensei told him.
"Class A, you?"
"A too, gonna raise hell with Shoto and make it everyone's problem."
"Are you going to still wear that pink wig?"
I give a shrug "I don't know, I mean I only have it so no one knows that I'm a Todoroki. But it won't matter if I use my quirk."
Your choice," Hitoshi remarks "but in my opinion the pixie cut you have going on looks a lot better than the wig."
"The pixie cut that's probably fucked up in the back."
"Nothing unfixable." he shrugs "But like I said, your choice."
We go to his place , since everyone is still out, so that we can change out of our uniforms.
"Gonna tell anyone that you got in the Hero Course?" Hitoshi asks, rubbing my back from my position while lying on him on his bed.
"I dunno, probably Shoto so that we can cause trouble." I half shrug.
"Already feel bad for the class."
"Not the worst bit, no one's gonna be able to tell us apart. Not even Toya."
"I could probably figure it out."
"Wish ya luck on that, babe."
"Babe, huh?"
"Something wrong with that?"
"Of course not, kitten."
I feel the heat rise to my cheek, hiding my face in his chest "Fucking asshole."
"Am I though?"
"You are right now."
I feel him chuckle before he kisses the top of my head.
"Do you think Class A will accept me? I mean, they'll like you since you've fought with them at the USJ and they know your brothers. But, they don't know anything about me other than the Sports Festival."
"They can fight me." I shrug and rest my arms under my chain so that I am looking him eye to eye "You know me and my brothers. The shit at the Festival just means that you're stubborn and will do what it takes to reach your goal."
"I mean yeah, I guess. But- Hey!" he remarks after I flick his forehead.
"Stop doubting yourself." I scold "If they have a problem with you for no fucking reason then I will fight them and humble their asses."
Hitoshi gives a bit of a smile "Thanks Azula, I have no doubt that you would fight them." He kisses my forehead before wrapping his arms around me in a tight hug, bringing a squeak from me in surprise. I wrap my arms around him, the best I can, feeling very content with this. I honestly don't feel like moving at all from this position.
His right hand slides down my bicep, gently pulling my left arm out from where I had it before running his hand down it, I'm assuming to grab my hand but it stops just past my elbow. "Something happened to your arm?" he asks, sounding a little concerned,I mean my whole forearm is covered in bandages because of the cuts. But I've also been in long-sleeve shirts to cover it aside from when I went to the mall with Shoto, but he can tell when I don't want to talk about something.
"Just some cuts from a while back. Nothing major." I tell him, praying to whatever Holy Being will listen that he won't ask about it anymore. I don't want nor need anyone else to find out about what happened that don't already know. Don't need to bring any unnecessary concern to people.
"Accident?" he asks.
"Yup! Complete accident." I answer, maybe a little too quickly judging how Hitoshi sits up, causing me to do the same and to basically straddle him.
"Azula, it wasn't an accident, was it?" he asks, a little more firm.
"It's nothing, I promise." I tell him "I don't want to talk about it." I can feel my chest tighten a little bit. I don't want him to know, he's one of the last people I want to know then to explain why.
Hitoshi put a hand on my cheek "Alright, I won't make you. I can make some guesses. But you can talk to me, okay?"
"Okay." I reply before being pulled back into a tight hug, giving me the chance to relax my poker face a little in his shoulder giving him a squeeze as he rubs my back some more. Just as long that I don't start crying I'll be fine. I feel close to doing so with the reminder.
Why the fucking hell am I like this? Why the fuck can't I be normal?

"We go two new students joining us from General Studies, you already know them from the Sports Festival." Eraserhead says as we stand in front of the new dorms. My head feels weird from not having a wig on and the new haircut courtesy of Fuyumi.
"Introduce yourselves properly."
Hitoshi steps forward "Hello, I'm Shinso Hitoshi, I like cubano coffee with about four to six shots of espresso. Sometimes I get it iced." he remarks "Since you already know what my quirk is." he gives a slight bow before stepping back.
"I'm Todoroki Azula, though you also know me as Azi." stepping forward, "I normally get my coffee black with espresso depending on my sleep with some half 'n' half first thing but I'm not too picky otherwise. As for my quirk," I make eye contact with my twin as I smirk "if you can't figure it out, I'm really disappointed in the Hero Course."
Toya snorts besides me, "Y'all have to be real idiots."
"What do you mean?" someone asks.
Shoto gestures to himself "I think it'd be obvious." he says, his voice sounding like mine. First day in class and the two of us are already causing chaos.
"Now then," Shoto and Hitoshi come to stand by Toya and I as Eraser speaks "I'm going to give a quick overview of your dorms. But before that: The training camp was meant to earn your provisional licenses. And that's still the goal."
People start muttering, interrupting the teacher, "Listen up!" Erasure regathering everyone's attention "This is important. Todoroki Shoto, Kirishima, Midoriya, Yaoyorozu, Iida; on that night you five headed out to rescue Bakugo, Takami was also out that night but he got permission to assist." I glance over at my eldest brother as our teacher continues "I think all of you understand the consequences of those actions. The issue has been swept under the rug for now, but let me say this: If not for All Might's retirement, I would have expelled every single one of you except for Bakugo, Jiro, Hagakure, Takami, Shinso, and Todoroki Azula.
"The chaos is sure to continue now that he's retired and since we can't get a read on the League of Villains' next move, kicking anyone out of UA at present is ill advised. The five who went, of course, but also the twelve who knew but did nothing to stop them, your reasons aside the fact remains that you betrayed our trust.
"That's all. Now look lively and get a move on." Erasure turns to walk inside.
How can anyone look lively after that?
Shoto gives my arm a squeeze as Hitoshi looks at the two of us "You two swapped didn't you?" he asks, bringing the attention to us.
"What makes you think that Shinso?" a guy with a lightning bolt in his hair asks.
"I swear to fucking God," Toya groans.
"Because she said that they were going to raise hell and make it everyone's problem." Hitoshi remarks "Since they both got the same haircut, I assume they were going to pull something like that."
"They did it all the fucking time as kids." Toya adds "And I mean all the fucking time."
"How do you know that?" a short-ass guy with purple hair asks.
Toya rolls his eyes "Because I'm their brother, I thought it was fucking obvious when I am a spitting image of Endeavor. Jesus."
"But your family name is Takami?" The girl with a black ponytail has a quizzed look.
Toya holds up his left hand "I'm married, duh."
"But you're sixteen at the max." the lightning bolt kid exclims, causing Shoto and I to bust a gut.
"Only in fucking maturity." I get out, using Shinso as a crutch so that I don't keen over.
"Oh fuck off 'Zula, Shoto which ever you are. And I'm twenty-three, I can show you my ID Kaminari if you need proof." Toya remarks.
"Or I can get some of our baby pics." Shoto offers. I manage to catch my breath a bit as Toya pulls out his wallet.
"Nah, definitely a fake." the red head with the shark teeth remarks.
"He is an adult, and born a Todoroki." Erasure remarks.
"I fucking told ya!" Toya exclaims, before putting an arm around mine and Shoto's shoulders "Come on, let's go inside. I want to take a nap."
When we go inside, Sensei explains the dorm, the layout of the building: each class gets their own multi-floor building, the first is the common area containing the kitchen/dining area, laundry rooms, baths and a living area, there's even a courtyard.
We go upstairs to where the dorms start, five floors with eight rooms each, the boys on the left and girls on the right. Each room has their own toilet, fridge, AC, vendetta and closest. Each dorm assigned and Toya the only one really breaking the gendered sides with his dorm next to mine, I'm assuming the school is aware of Toya's pregnancy.
Him, Shoto, Hitoshi and I are assigned to the Fifth Floor, probably with easier access for Keigo, along with Sero, Sato, Asui and Yaoyorozu.
Today is set aside for settling into the dorms with what comes next set aside for tomorrow.
"Hey kid," Toya taps on my open door "you good?"
"Yeah," I smile, my room is already set up, "just a bit tired."
Toya walks in, taking a look around "Not too different from before."
My bed is pushed to one side with blackout curtains over the glass doors, the desk has my laptop, a cup of writing utensils. I have some cast iron skillets in the closet at the moment, one of the perks of my quirk is that with the control I do have and the right skillet, I can cook just about whatever I want whenever I feel like it. Hell, I got some frozen chicken in case Toya gets some late-night cravings or shit like that.
"Hey, the class is doing a competition of who has the best room." Shoto pops his head in.
"Nope, nope. Not gonna let them in my room because I know they'll be asking questions." Toya plops onto my bed "I already know Mineta is gonna ask why I'm in the girls' wing-"
"Because you're just as hormonal." I shrug.
"And I don't feel like explaining to everyone about this." he gestures to his stomach which has a little bit of a bump, but he looks more bloated than pregnant.
"I mean, they could've put us three on the second floor since there's no girls there because of Mineta." Shoto shrugs.
"Can't change it now." I remark, getting out of my desk chair. Now I want something to eat, "You two want a snack?" I ask, going into the closet to grab a pan, not Hitoshi though.
"You're not going to cook here, are you?" Shoto asks, sounding unsure. I mean I did install hardwood in here. But it'll be fine.
"Yeah, I got some frozen chicken in the fridge." I shrug, walking out with a cast iron over my shoulder.
"Yes please." Toya puts his hands together.
"But how?" Shoto asks, as I grab the pre diced chicken.
"Magic, clearly." I smile. I got some small bottles of oil under my bed with seasoning and spatulas so I'm all set.
"Watch and learn little brother." I tell Shoto, holding the skillet in my right hand. The handle feels warmer in my palm now. I pour some oil in the pan as I grab the seasonings I need while the oil heats up before I pour the chicken in, after I had Toya hold it for a minute, filling my room with sizzling as I sprinkled on some lemon pepper, seasoning salt, onion powder, garlic powder, and a chicken seasoning mix with ginger and cinnamon in it.
"Ooo! What's that smell?" The girl with the brown bob cut is at my room's door along with what looks to be the majority of the class.
"Just some chicken." I shrug, "Got hungry and Toya was griping."
"Was not!" Toya retorts, crossing his arms conveniently over his stomach.
I toss the chicken within the pan so that it would cook evenly, took me years to master that, none fell out so that's good.
"Can we try some?" the pink girl asks.
"Um sure." I was cooking it on the stove equivalent of HIGH so it's cooked. Toya grabs a handful of the chicken before popping it in his mouth as if it was a handful of nuts.
Heh, he probably popped some nuts in his mouth before.
"You guys might want skewers or something." I remark.
