Awase's POV

          I didn't know what to think, all I can jus feel was pure shock, surprise, and just confusion. Why is she suddenly kissing me? Is this even allowed? She's gonna be married and we can't just kiss. W-What if someone finds out?

I immediately pushed her away and she was confused.

"Momo...we can't.." I said.

She looked at me confused, "B-But...I love you, Awase.."

My eyes widened, "Y-You...love me..but I thought you said you love someone else."

"And that someone is you."

We both didn't know what else to say, we just stood there in silence yet I felt so happy and...sad at the same time.

"Awase, I loved you ever since I met you. At first I didn't realize it but somehow, it came to the point where I really do. When I found out that my parents planned an arranged marriage for Prince Todoroki, I wanted to just yell at them and say I didn't want to get marry to someone who I don't know, but rather to someone who I deeply care and love."

I sighed and let out a small smile, "I loved you ever since I met you too, I just never said anything because it felt like I had no right to feel that way, since I am just a servant to you and that you were getting married."

Momo soon walked towards me and hugged me tight, "I'd rather marry you than Prince Todoroki."

"But we can't, your parents will get mad. I want you to live your life in comfort and care and I know that this is for your own good-"

"BUT YOU ARE MY COMFORT AND CARE." She began to hug me tighter and started to cry on my shoulder, "Yosetsu, I love you so much and knowing you liking me back was the happiest day of my life. You're my everything and I'd rather throw my crown away in order for me to be with you."

Tears soon started to form in my eyes as I hugged her back tightly.

I made her look at me as I kissed her and she immediately kissed back.

We pulled away as I said, "We will be together, one day we will. I love you so much, Momo."

Momo was still crying but she still formed a bright smile on her face as I wiped her tears.

"I love you too, Yosetsu."

"Come on, we have to get you cleaned up if you don't want you parents to be worried."

She sniffed and chuckled, "Yeah, you're right."

I got her to cheer up and her tears wiped and made sure that she was all dressed up properly before going down for breakfast.

Time skip...

          After breakfast was over, we soon started to clean up the table as we kept the leftovers, brought the dirty dishes to the kitchen and cleaned the table as we removed the different stains that were on it.

As I wiped the table, I suddenly saw Momo talking to her parents and heard a bit of what they were talking about.

"Mother, Father, may I please speak with you both?"

"Of course sweetheart, is something wrong?" Her father asked.

"Not much, I just feel like there should be things we must clear out, because I've been keeping this for so long and I feel like it is needed to be said to you both."

Both her parents were confused and surprised.

"Of course sweetie, let's head upstairs and talk about it now."

The three of them all left the dining area, making me wonder what they will be talking about.

Third Person's POV

          The Royal Family soon went upstairs and entered inside Momo's bedroom as they began their conversation.

"What is it that you need to talk to us about, Momo?" Her mother asked.

"Mother, Father, I don't want to get married to Prince Todoroki." Momo said.

Both her parents blinked and soon started to laugh. 

"That was a good one, sweetie. You not marrying him? That was hilarous!" Her mother laughed.

"I never knew you were quite a humorous one, Momo!" Her father did the same as well.

Momo sighed, "I'm serious."

They both stopped laughing and looked at their daughter.

"You...don't want to get married with Prince Todoroki?" The king asked.

She shook her head, "Because I already love someone else."

The queen walked towards her, "Love someone else? Momo, you are getting married to a very humble young man and now you suddenly love someone else?!"

"I DIDN'T JUST FELL IN LOVE WITH HIM SUDDENLY, I ALREADY LOVED HIM SINCE THE DAY I MET HIM!! AND I BARELY EVEN KNOW THE YOUNG PRINCE AND YET YOU THINK THIS IS THE BEST FOR MY FUTURE??!!" Momo yelled back with rage.

"Momo, this is not the behaviour we want to see from you!!" The king yelled.

"No!! I have every right to yell like this!! Mother, Father, I know you love me and that this marriage is really for my own good, but I want to be happy and live the life I want to live. Please, I love Awase so much--"

"Awase?? Your servant??" 

"He is just a servant!! He's the best friend I could ever get and I love him so much."

"But Momo, can't you see what we're doing is for your future??"

"It's not fair!!! Did you both suddenly got married because it was arranged by grandmother and grandfather or did you both got married because you truly love each other??"

Her parents looked at each other and sighed, "We both got married cause we fell in love with each other, not because of an arranged marriage."

"See? If you love your daughter, then what kind of love are you giving me if I am not happy to the choice you made for me?" 

          Soon, Momo's parents realized this and felt depressed, knowing that their daughter kept all this for so long yet never wanted to say this to them because she was too scared. As of Momo, she didn't know what answer or reaction will she get from her parents. All she knows that what she was doing was the right thing and she doesn't regret it.

"You're right sweetie, we should've never forced you to do things that you never wanted in the first place." Momo's mother spoke.

"She's right, we were so protective of you, hoping that you may live a happier life in the choices that we make, but instead it just caused more of a problem than we thought. We're so sorry, sweetie." Her father added.

"Do you forgive us?"

Momo smiled, "Of course I forgive you both."

          Eventually, both the queen and king were able to clear things out with the Royal Family Todoroki. The king was furious over the sudden cancel of the marriage yet both the queen and the son had no problem with it and they all understood.

          As for Awase and Momo, they both were able to continue their romantic relationship with each other as both Momo's parents were able to accept him for being their daughter's lover. Both of them went on dates and just hung out most of the time, happy that they both are finally together.

          About two years have passed and Awase decided to plan something for Momo. He was obviously nervous because he wasn't sure if it was the right thing to do or maybe it could be too early, yet all he knows is that he loves Momo with his whole heart that he was just ready for this.

It was night and Awase asked Momo for them to go to the Castle gardens again for his surprise.

"What are we doing here, Awase?" Momo asked.

"Um..I just...want to ask you something.." Awase began to blush.

Momo giggled as he noticed his blushing face, "Yosetsu, you're blushing."

Awase turned red even more and Momo couldn't help but laugh.

"Anyways, what do you want to ask me about?" She asked.

Awase let out a deep breath before he spoke as he held hands with her.

"Momo, you're the most beautiful, kind, caring and compassionate person I've ever met. You've been with me through thick and thin and I have no regrets falling for you. I love you so much and I want to spend the rest of my life with you."

Momo's eyes widened, "A-Awase??"

He then knelt on one knee and brought out a ring, making Momo form tears of joy in her eyes.

"Momo, will you marry me?"

She started to sob happily as she nodded, "Yes! I will marry you!"

Awase smiled brightly as he slid the ring on her finger.

He stood up and hugged the woman he ever loved in his whole life.

"I love you so much." Awase whispered to her ear and kissed her head.

"I love you too, Yosetsu."
