Momo's POV

          The sky that was above me tonight was beautiful. It lit up by the beautiful and countless stars, with the moon beaming it's light upon us.

Both classes of 1-A and 1-B were in another camp training activity, but this time the spot was more hidden.

Everyone at this time was sleeping but I wanted to get some fresh air to keep myself relaxed and calm.

I know the teachers told us to continue getting some rest, but being out here is enough.

As I star gaze, I heard a some footsteps getting louder. I flinched a bit as they were getting closer and closer.

I turned around and saw that it was just Awase.

I sighed in relief, "Oh, it's just you. You kinda scared me, Awase."

He chuckled, "Sorry, I didn't mean to."

I laughed a bit before scooting a bit for him to sit beside me.

He hesitated a little but soon sat beside me and looked at the sky.

"Shouldn't you be sleeping by now?" Awase asked.

"I could ask you the same thing." I chuckled.

He playfully rolled his eyes.

          Awase and I continued to silently loom at the night sky, yet the more I look at it, the more I remember what happeend during the camp incident last time.

          It's always been there and until now, I haven't overcome that fear. The sound of chainsaws getting louder and louder, the blurry vision I had and blood covering almost my whole head, everything was a nightmare.

But I'm grateful that I'm still here, here to continue being a Pro Hero. I wouldn't be here without Awase.

I have treated him for tea as a thank you, but it's the least I could do. His bravery and selfless act is too much for me to think what gift of gratitude would be perfect.

"Awase.. thank you.." I spoke to him.

In the corner of my eye, I could see that he was confused and looked at me.

"What do you mean?"

"For saving me, during the camp."

"You know I did what I had to do, Yaoyorozu. You don't have to thank me so much." He said.

"But I have to. You were about to risk your life for me, I couldn't stand seeing you hurt just because of me." I looked at him.

"And I wouldn't forgive myself if I left you there with that Nomu." He replied.

I placed my head on his shoulder which caught him by surprise, but he soon relaxed into it.

"I sometimes get nightmares of that same incident, you trying to drag me away from that monster and such. Now that we're in another camp spot, I probably might get nightmares like those again." I said.

It was true, I had another reason why I didn't want to sleep yet. I was still scared about what would happen next.

"Don't worry Yaoyorozu, if anything happens to you, just know that I'm here always." Awase reassured me.

I smiled and nuzzled into his neck.

          My face was completely warm but as I am being this close to him, I felt so safe. Maybe it's because it was from the camp but, I just feel completely safe with his touch.

"The moon is beautiful, isn't it?" Awase spoke.

I giggled, "It sure is."

That's when it hit me, is he really trying to say it is beautiful...or is he trying to say 'I love you' to me?

I looked at him and I could see his face was crimson red, but his fmgaze was still focused on the moon.

"Awase...what do you mean when you said that the moon is beautiful?" I asked him.

"W-What do you mean? It w-was just a question if it's beautiful." He stuttered.

I then sat properly and looked at him in the eye. He looked back and now we were both staring at each other.

"You sure you didn't mean it as something else?" I asked once more and started to lean in slowly.

He gulped and blushed furiously, "O-Of course not.."

I then stopped leaning and now our faces were so close. His and my nose were touching and I placed my forehead on his.

I stared deep into his eyes, only to find such beauty and love in it.

My face was heating up by how close we are, but I'm not planning to pull away.

          My heart couldn't stop beating, it just keeps getting faster and faster. My stomach was filled with nothing but butterflies, and the hot breathing if Awase gave me chills down my spine.

In that moment, I knew what I wanted.

"A-Awase?"

"Y-Yes..?"

"I want to kiss you.."

He looked at me with a shocked expression, "Y-You do..?

I nodded.

"Then...you can.." He answered.

I then grabbed his collar and pulled him in for a kiss. Awase was stiff a bit but then he kissed me back.

So many emotions and thoughts were filling my head up, but almost every one of them was just pure happiness and excitement.

It's as if I was longing for this.

I wrapped my arms around his neck and he wrapped his arms around my waist.

After a few more seconds, we pulled away and tried to catch our breaths.

I smile softly at him, "I love you too, Awase."
