~Aladdin AU PART 4~
Third Person's POV
Awase slowly opened his eyes, getting a major headache from what he just got hit. He felt both his feet tied and arms tied around his back. He had his eyes scanning the situation he was in and noticed he was riding a camel and that they were in the dessert.
"W-Where am I..??" He mumbled.
"Oh good, you're finally awake."
Yosetsu then looked at the strange man who was riding on the camel with him, "Who are you?"
"Let's just say I'm just like you." He deeply chuckled.
"Like me? You don't even know me."
"Of course I do, a thief like you knows a lot of things of other thieves. And just like me, I know you." He then showed a little pouch bag that was Awase's.
"H-How did you--"
"Even I was a thief myself back in my day, now I don't do those yet I still think of myself as a skilled thief. But you, you have quite the talent and stealth of any thief would want, including me." He smirked.
"What do you want from me? And where's Abu?!"
"Oh, you mean the monkey? He's just here in this little cage." The man pointed at the cage, having Abu trapped there.
"Don't hurt him!!"
"Of course I won't, I just need you to steal something for me."
"Steal what?"
"My name is Jafar, a sorcerer for the Royal Family of the Yaoyorozu. As a sorcerer, I found interest to the legend that says there here at the cave right in front of us, is where lies the incredible and powerful wishing lamp! The lamp contains a magical genie which can grant 3 wishes and I need you to get it!!" He ordered Awase.
"What do I get in return?" Awase asked.
"Anything you want obviously."
They soon made it to the cave that seemed to have a shape of a tiger. It's opening was unpleasant yet it had a source of light coming from the inside.
Jafar untied Awase and freed his monkey friend.
"Only get the lamp and nothing else. If you do, then the whole cave will collapse and you'll die."
Yosestu and Abu gulped as they both slowly entered the creepy cave.
The two slowly came down and down to the deep cave, yet the creepiness was soon lit up by the numerous treasure that was in it. Treasure chests was filled with bright jewelry such as necklaces and crowns, minerals of all sorts like gold, diamonds and rubies.
Abu was filled with joy and excitement seeing all the beautiful treasure laying everywhere.
He was about to touch until Awase told him not to, "No Abu. If we touch or get anything else, this whole cave will collapse. We're here for the lamp and nothing else, okay?"
Abu nodded sadly, and soon followed Yosetsu.
They both tried to look for the lamp.
They continued to search through the messy treaure laying all around until Abu spotted a shiny item that was high up on a very tall rock.
He made noises signalling his human friend that he must've found the lamp.
Awase caught his attention and followed where he was pointing at.
"That must be the lamp! Great work, Abu!!"
Yosetsu began to climb up the steep rock, trying to reach and grab the lamp.
As he did so, Abu continued to wander around and spotted a beautiful red ruby just few steps beside him.
It's beauty caught Abu's attention so much, that his tempation was taking over him and that he couldn't help but just grab it on his own.
Yosestu continjed to climb and climb and once he grabbed the lamp, Abu grabbed the ruby too and everything started to shake.
Awase gasped as he looked down to his friend and noticed he was holding a ruby gem.
"Abu, what did tell you?!"
The monkey dropped it on the ground and began to panic.
Awase immediately ran back down and grabbed Abu so that they could escape.
Rocks began to fall and the whole cave began to shake. Almost every route they took ended up getting blocked and there was no path to the exit of the cave.
The cave began to crumble and Yosetsu and Abu were unfortunately trapped under the rubble of the cave.
