"What?"
"Do they teach you anything here?" Saira huffed exasperatedly.
"She's hasn't had much time to master all her skills, Saira," Edward countered.
"Very well. It's quite simple, really. Your witch side is connected with the Earth. All you have to do is think of where it is you want to go and reach out to the nature around you and they will create a path to take you there. Lucky for you, I've showed you where they are."
I nodded slowly, comprehending what Saira said. In theory, it made sense. I had no idea I could simply think of a place and the Earth would take me there. I wonder what else I was capable of doing that I didn't know of.
"Ahem. Hope we're not interrupting but the sooner we leave the better," Saira cleared her throat loudly, bringing me back to reality.
"Wait, we're going now?!"
"Every minute we wait is every minute they could side with Edward. Time is not on our side," Edward explained.
Nodding, I closed my eyes taking a deep breath before picturing the shabby wooden cabin, protected by a canopy of trees in the middle of nowhere. I reached out to the Earth, feeling magic start to rush inside of me as the air around me started to swirl. I gasped, opening my eyes as I saw the air around me pick up speed. I watched in wonder as I saw the air clump together, opening up to create a portal. I could hear the whispering as the magic was calling out to me and I felt my feet start moving forward, towards the portal. I stepped inside of it, feeling the air being sucked out of me as I moved through it. I stepped out into tall, green grass on the other side recognizing it as the same tall grass I had seen in the globe. The cabin couldn't be too far away. I heard a thump behind me as I caught my breath, noticing Saira and Edward land behind me.
"I did it!" I yelled, grinning at Edward, feeling a rush of magic inside of me at my excitement.
"Hush, child. We don't want them to hear us yet," Saira scolded.
Nodding, I asked, "So what's the plan?"
"You haven't used up all of your energy, have you?"
"No, why?" I asked, cocking my head at Edward.
"If we don't convince them, we need to be prepared for a fight."
"A fight?" I asked, glaring at them in disbelief. They couldn't possibly think the three of us stood a chance.
"Are you expecting them to greet us with open arms and invite us in for a cup of tea?" Saira snapped, sarcastically.
I gulped, realizing she was right. I was naïve to think they'd want to have a peaceful chat after what I had done.
"So what's the pla-" I started before turning around to notice I was suddenly all alone. I spun around, focusing my eyes as I scanned my surroundings finding Saira and Edward nowhere to be found.
"What the hell?" I whispered aloud, my brows furrowing in confusion. The hairs on my arms start to spike up as I sense something approaching. I held my breath, staying still as I listened, my heartbeat racing.
I heard a faint snicker, cursing under my breath as I placed that high pitched, sickly sweet voice. They found us.
"Hey Bay. Long time no see," I called out, casually as I felt the hair on the back of my neck stand. If Bay had found me, the others weren't far behind. They probably snatched up Edward and Saira while I was distracted.
I jumped as Bay appeared in front of me, smiling warmly before grabbing my arm and dragging me with her. Had she really been in front of me the whole time and I couldn't even sense her?
"Where are you taking me?" I asked, attempting to seem unphased before my voice cracked, giving me away.
Sensing my worry, Bay turned to me smirking before replying, "To the others."
"Surprised they still trust you after you betrayed them," I replied, attempting to distract her as I furiously searched my surroundings for something, anything I could use to distract her so I could escape and think of a plan. Me against the most powerful supernaturals were not good odds, especially since I was the reason their bond was broken.
"Don't even think about it. I'll break every bone in your body if you try anything," she threatened.
I shivered, imagining her threat coming to fruition.
"You can let go. I won't run."
She eyed me suspiciously before loosening her grip on my arm. I snatched my arm away, rubbing it where it now sore from her iron grip. We walked for a few more minutes in silence as my mind raced with ideas, all of which were sure to end up with all my bones broken. I sighed, deciding to extract information out of her instead.
"For the most powerful witch, you sure do love walking."
She ignored my comment, picking up the pace as she noticed the cabin in sight.
"So...how do you plan on killing me? Beheading? Drowning? Suffocating? Burning me alive?"
She turned to me in surprise, throwing her head back as she cackled.
"We're not killing you yet child. No, that would be foolish."
Raising my eyebrow in suspicion, I pressed for more, "What do you want from me?"
"You father hasn't told you?"
"Told me what?" I growled, angrily.
She scoffed, shaking her head as she kept walking.
"Told me what???" I repeated, louder this time.
"Why don't you ask him yourself?" she asked, nodding her head to the front of the cabin where the door was wide open, allowing me to see Saira and Edward who were tied to one another back to back with blue chains that glowed brightly.
I scowled, turning to her in anger as I could feel my teeth start to protrude from my mouth.
"I swear if you harm-"
"Bold of you to make threats when you're outnumbered," I heard a deep voice whisper in my ear. I jumped, swiveling around to find Sam behind me, shoving me forward as we neared the door. I gulped hard, feeling shivers run up my spine.
I heard the door slam behind me and before I knew it I was being pushed down into a chair, not far from where Edward and Saira were being bound. I watched blue chains appear, seemingly out of nowhere before wrapping around me tightly.
"Edward," I whispered, attempting to scoot closer to him but the chain tightened, causing me to gasp as the breath was being squeezed out of me.
"Rude to show up uninvited, isn't it Sarav?" Caesar asked innocently, frowning.
"Let's teach this bitch a lesson," she agreed, nearing me before releasing her wings and whacking me across the face with one of them before I could figure out what was happening.
I spat blood out of my mouth as I glared at her, my head spinning from the force of her slap.
"Attacking someone while they're bound? Not what I'd expect from one of the Five."
"You little bi-"
"Not now Sarav. We'll have plenty of time for that later," Bay reminded, eying me distastefully.
"Sar-" Edward tried to speak before the blue chains tightened their hold causing both him and Saira to scream in pain.
"Don't worry, we'll have plenty of time for you later," Sam promised, smiling evilly at Edward.
"I should've killed you all when I had the chance," I spat, glaring at them defiantly.
Bay approached me slowly, bending down to meet me at eye level before asking, "Where is the other freak?"
"What?"
"I'm only going to ask you one more time."
"I have no idea what you're talking about."
"She's stalling. We should just kill her," Caesar offered.
"Not yet. Not until we find out where she is."
I looked to Edward in confusion, finding him avoiding my eyes. I glanced at Saira, who was eying me with a guarded expression. For a second, she lowered her guard allowing me to see something else, an emotion I couldn't place.
Bay grabbed my chin, jerking my face to face her before staring into my eyes.
"Where is your sister?"
