A good beginning fuels a great end

Almira's pov

I might love my parents to bits but no one can express my joy. I moved to the next city with my sister (I'm adopted) to go to college. My bestie is already two years above us. Don't ask and no we're not dating and will never. June (my sister), Devon (my bestie) and I now share one apartment.

On the first day of college, I tied my midnight black  hair in a high ponytail and wore black jeans with a green crop top and a leather jacket.

I explored round the school and saw Devon waving at June and I to come over and meet his friends

     "Hey " I said quietly

     "Hi" June chirped happily

Yep. I'm antisocial. So predictable

     "June, Mira. Meet Alden, Alvin, and Betty. Guys meet Almira and June"

They all greeted us in their own way

     "Where's Wyatt and Zayn?"Betty asked

     "Dunno" Devon said

Suddenly two boys approached us and unlike June who wouldn't notice you right in front of her, I noticed the boys tense on seeing us. Raising a brow, I turned to Devon who only shrugged and said

     "This session will be weird"

Weird indeed

Devon's pov (I probably won't do his  again)
I've been Mira's best friend since I poured her ice-cream when she was six and I was eight and having her live with me along with June is something I've wanted. Don't get me wrong. I don't mean it in a sexual way. It's just to keep a closer eye on her

I saw Mira and June like lost puppies so I waved them over. I noticed Mira's shyness resurface as introduced her to my friends. After some time, our alpha and beta decided to grace us with their presence but immediately they both lay eyes on Mira and June, I know something was up. They tensed. That was weird. Later, as the girls left I heard

     "Mate! "

What surprised me is that I could not just hear one voice but two
