Almira's pov

The dinner wasn't that bad. After meeting Wyatt's family,  he became closer. Safe to say I'm falling more and I'm falling hard. He's always there for me no matter what

Today, he decided to take me on a hike trail.

     "Sometimes, I wonder if you are really the alpha, you are always with me"

     "Right Now my only mission is making you fall in love with me"

I chuckled "I thought I already said I like you"

     "I want you to love me" he sighed

     "Wyatt" I sighed

     "Let's just continue, OK?"

Classic Wyatt. Hiding his damn feeling from me again. How does he expect me to trust him

     "Al"

     "Yeah"

     "Were here"

The landscape was nice and he lay down the picnic basket

He arranged the picnic and motioned for me to sit
   
     "Are you okay?"

He nodded and bit his lip

     "You sure? "

     "Problem with another pack plus it's almost a full moon night"

     "I'm confused"

     "Pack problem-"

     "No. The full moon thing"

     "Nothing"

He was hiding something

     "So the pack problem"

     "There's a missing person and a neighbouring pack has a missing person too, only the person was found badly bruised yesterday. The pack is convinced it's not us but somehow, I feel like I have something to do with it all "

     "But you don't right? "

     "Yeah"

     "Then don't worry everything will be fine"

     "You sure? "

     "Hakuna Matata"

He laughed "Lion King really? " he asked clearly amused

     "Hey. Don't judge"

     "Me never" he mock said

I laughed along with him

     "Have you heard about those Disney theories"

     "Like what"

     "Elsa, Anna and Tarzan are siblings"

     "Well that's interesting."

     "It was said that Elsa's parent s went on a ship and the ship was burnt. Elsa's mother was pregnant. And in Tarzan they said he was rescued by an air from a burning ship. Also in one of the Aladdin movies, Aladdin stole the glove that had the infinity stones"

     "Disney and marvel really? "

     "I'm just saying what I heard"  I said pouting

He nodded fighting his laughter

     "What's your favourite marvel character"

     "Pedro. He's selfless and Thor. I personally think Chris Hemsworth's body is to die for"

Wyatt growled at my response

     "You're mine"

     "I'm yours, Wyatt"

He nodded at my reply "Mine's Iron Man and Black panther"

     "Thank god you didn't say Captain America. I mean he's nice and all but I would've disowned you" I paused "And black panther is mad. Wakanda  Forever" I said crossing my arms

He was amused "Wakanda forever"

     "It's such a pity he had to die"

     "Pity indeed" he nodded "Favourite DC character "

     "Harley Quinn duh"

     "You like the villain physcotic Joker's ex girl"

     "Excuse me. Harleen Quinsel is a bad ass bitch with a degree in psychology. She deserves the love"

     "Why ever you say. I love Green Lantern "

     "He's nice"

     "I can't believe we're talking about DC and marvel right now"

     "Well, I can"

Wyatt studies my expression before chuckling and saying

     "I'm glad you're my mate and I'm thankful you're right here with me"

     "I doubt you'd let me go"

     "You got that right!"

I chuckled. I saw his gaze flicker to my lips and as if asking for permission, he cupped my face and kissed me. I could feel all his emotions pouting into this intense kiss. Trying to dominate the kiss when I feel his hand under my shirt and takes that as an opportunity to kiss deeper

     "I love you"

I was breathless. How could he talk!

But I rested on his chest. Maybe one day I will love him. I just have to wait.

Pain. So much pain

I just woke up and I feel pain all over my body

     "Hey Mira. You have to go to-" Devon stopped halfway looking at me

     "Shit. Shit. Shit"

He ran out of there he room

      "Devon" I heard June scream

Wyatt barged in.

     "Almira. Baby. Shit. I'm sorry, I'm sorry."

     "Make it stop Wyatt. It hurts"

Wyatt's pov

It hurt seeing her in so much pain. I should've known her heat would be close. Mom mentioned something about it

     "Wyatt please" She was crying at this point

I carried her to the bath tub and ran a bath or freezing water and put her in it.

I kissed her on lips hoping to relieve the pain

Her movements told me that it was helping. Leaving her in the bath, I ran to her room and put on the air conditioning to 8 degree Celsius. I ran back to her and got her out, wrapping her in a towel and changing her clothes

Finally, I straddled her and watched her fall asleep. She is my life and I'll do anything to protect her even though it hurts so fucking much.

The next morning, I woke up in the same position. Al straddled into me and still sleeping. I hope her heat ended.

     "Wyatt"

She looked really cute to be honest, waking up in my arms

Uh. Oh

I could feel my eyes changing colours

     "What the fuck Luke. Stop it"

     "Mate" he practically growled

He was fighting for control

     "Control yourself Luke" I said wanting to just shut him out

     "Do you know how hard it was to stop myself from taking over yesterday. She's my mate and I deserve to be with her" Luke said with a tone of finality and I know he had won

He was in control

      "W-w-wyatt. Why are you eyes glowing" she asked

He tilted his head to one side and growled

     "Not Wyatt"

She gasped

    "Luke" he growled "Mine" he said with a smirk
