     "The fuck do you mean" Dev screamed into the phone

Wonder who he was talking to

     "She's here. I know. She's gonna flip"

Pause. Pause. Pause

     "Fine" he spat and hung up

     "Devon" I said slowly

He snapped to me "What's up"

     "Can we talk"

     "About?"

     "Anything, I feel we haven't talked in forever"

He chuckled "Doesn't mean I don't know what's going on"

     "Yeah" I nodded

     "Go on" he said as I sat between his legs, him playing with my hair

     "I'm really confused. In the span of one week I found out I have three brothers and a father. And that Wyatt and I are on relatively good terms. I told him about Ken"

     "Wouldn't say I'm not surprised about that. But Wyatt has that effect on people. What was his initial reaction"

     "Aside from the fact that Ken is on his hit list. Anger" I answered sarcastically

He laughed "Of course he wants to kill him. He hurt you. Though, Wyatt would most likely torture him first. I can give him a quick death"

     "Devon!" I shrieked

He laughed "Relax"

     "I can't wait for you to meet your mate"

     "I can't wait too. I really need her" he chuckled

Devon was a nice guy. His mate will be one lucky bitch

     "Are you scared of Wyatt?"

     "Never was"

     "You're scared of commitment"

I nodded "Dead scared. Scared he'll hurt me. Scared of losing another person in my life"

     "Ken was never in your life. He's a lowlife"

     "I'm gonna try and be happy. I deserve at least that right?"

He chuckled "And many more"

     "I love you" I said and I truly meant it. Devon is irreplaceable in my life

     "Same" he said

     "Can I meet your wolf"

He laughed "Ok. His name is Dan"

     "Danny" I said

     "Whatever floats your boat"

That was all I heard before the cracking of bones.

Before me stood shredded clothes and bright brown wolf with slightly darker paws

It was very beautiful

I'm sure he noticed my expression because his lips made a wolf grin

     "You look so beautiful"

He rolled his eyes

     "Stop rolling your eyes at me. I just complimented you"

He rolled them again

     "Hey"

I attacked him. Within a few seconds, he had me trapped under him with a grin

I stuck out my tongue and the wolf licked my cheek

He got up from me and turned me to face the other direction

     "I'm kinda decent"

I turned to him "That was mice"

     "You don't call a boy beautiful" he deadpanned

     "I called you beautiful. Deal with it"

     "Dan says you're crazy"

     "Thank you"

     "Have you seen Wyatt's wolf"

     "Nope"

     "C'mon let's go visit him"

     "Sure"

We both fit dressed and went to the pack house

     "I have arrived" He shouted as we entered

Most people gave him an eye roll

     "Show me some respect" he huffed

     "No one cares Devon"

     "Shut up"

     "Where's Wyatt"

     "Office, gamma"

     "Thanks"

     "Who's the pretty lady" Someone said

     "Of limits"

     "I'm going to Wyatt's office" I managed to say

     "Have fun" he said and winked

I entered his office and felt arms wrap around my waist

     "What took you so long" he murmured into my neck

     "Wyatt" I said

     "Hi" he mumbled

     "What are you doing here"

     "Devon um drove me here"

     "Doesn't answer my question"

     "I wanted to meet your wolf"

     "You wanted to meet my wolf?"

     "Yeah, I can right?"

     "Yeah, you can"

     "Ok"

He locked his office and took me to the woods behind the pack house

     "Where are we going"

     "Hold on"

     "Seems sketchy"

     "Shouldn't you be used to sketchy"

     "I'm not the one taking a defenseless girl into the woods"

     "I'll protect you"

     "You don't have a choice"

     "I don't have a choice"

We stopped at a pretty lake. It was basic, nice and calming

     "It looks nice" I whisper

     "Yeah, sit"

I obeyed and he shifted

Wyatt had a midnight black wolf with white paws. It looked stunning

     "Hi Luke. You look beautiful"

He cringed and I laughed

     "What's the problem alpha male"

Luke ran around and motioned for me to hop on which I did. He took me for a ride. The forest wasn't too bushy. Thank God

He returned and shifted back then dressed up.

     "How was that?" Wyatt asked

     "Splendid"

     "Well, you called me beautiful"

     "So? Don't you like it"

     "Maybe from you I do"

I nodded and faced the water dipping my hand in it

      "Do you ever wish for you not to have any problems"

     "If life's easy then it's not worth living don't you think?"

     "I wish I saw it like that"

     "I'm here to talk to you if you want"

   . "I know"

He sighed "I love you"

I was mentally frozen

     "Wyatt" I started to say

But he cut me off with a kiss. Slow and passionate. Pouring all his emotions "You don't have to say anything. I just wanted to let you know that I'll never leave you no matter what"

     "Thank you"

I hugged him
