They are able to manipulate/harness visible or invisible existing energy that's form can be varies, such as wielding the natural elemental energies of the planet, the zero point energies of empty space or the solar/stellar energies from the sun and other stars. This received energy can be used to strengthen one's self or for combat purpose.
