I looked up when I heard the door open. But it wasn't who I expected. "Lukas?" I asked and he ran a hand through his blonde hair. 

  "Hey." he said softly and I clenched my right fist. "What do you want, Lukas?" I asked warily as he stepped up to me. "Nothing... actually. I just wanted to- see you." he swallowed and I felt my heart stumble.

"I know the timing sucks, but I'm so sorry this happened to you. I seriously didn't know that Aiden was going to-" he bit his lip and I opened my fist. 

"Do you mean it?" I asked softly and he nodded. "I didn't know whats wrong with me. Aiden- he threatened me but he's sorry as well." 

Then I paused. Aiden was never sorry. "Are you sure?" I asked again and he nodded. 

And he leaned in, which made me miss him even more.
