"So... where are you from?" I asked him and he nodded to town. "Okay?" I replied. "I'm looking for my best friend, Nurm. Know him?" he asked and I shook my head after thinking. 

  "Sorry, Jack, but I gotta go. My girl.. friend, she's waiting for me." I said nervously. Jack had an eye which looked like he was blind. That unsettled me. 

  "Petra?" Jack confirmed and I nodded, wondering how he knew so much. Maybe this town wasn't as big as I thought.

  "Well I'll see you around." he waved and vanished in the shadows. I shuddered a little. He was unsettling. 

And my phone rang. 

"Olivia?" I asked, hoping. "Jesse- come quick." Deja Vu. (Is this how you spell it?) 

"It's Petra... but she-" she muttered. "She- almost died."

And I started running, carrying Reuben.
