Vanoss's Pov

I was just in the kitchen making myself a coffee until Anti teleported right in front of me with Jack. they were both bleeding but I had to take care of Jack first so I picked him up and lead him to the med room where Mini can help him. I lay him down on the bed and Mini worked his magic. Well his medical degree hahaha

I rushed back down stairs to see Anti getting weaker and weaker by the second. His powers are draining. He looks at my with a smile his green eyes flickered like light bulbs about to pop a fuse.

I stood there not knowing what to do, what can I do? He's dying on the floor, his blood staining his jumper, his strength weakening. His eyes began to close and I rush to him trying to keep him awake and alive.

"Your gonna be ok Anti, just stay awake ok?" I say to him

"V......Vanoss..... Y.......you need to stop this" Anti said gripping my hand as tight as he could, but weaker than he was.

"We can do it together, you just gotta stay awake" I reply as he smiled and closed his eyes

"No, no no no no Anti wake up, WAKE UP!!!"

Oh god he just died on me in my Kitchen, I rush up to Mini and see that Jack is awake and perfectly fine minus the bandage wrapped around his stomach. He looks at me and I am at the edge of tears.

"Vanoss? What's wrong?" He asked

"Anti is on the Kitchen floor Mini you need to tend to him quickly" I say and Mini nods rushing down to the kitchen

"Why didn't you help him first?" Jack shouted at me

"Humans are weaker than demons, we can handle thing better and longer than you, but your blow must have taken a huge hit to him, he is dying, and he closed his eyes on me, if Mini didn't tend to you first you would have died and Anti would have died too" I reply

Jack stayed silent trying to process everything that I just said and his anger seemed to just disappear into sadness

"Thanks" was the last thing he said leaving us both waiting in silence

Mini Ladd's Pov

I rushed down the stairs to help Anti he was in the same state as Jack was but his eyes were closed, oh god he's on his way out, I gotta do this fast I went to touch his jumper but a hand quickly gripped mine and squeezed tightly. I followed where the arm leaded to and it was Anti wide awake and he looked as if nothing had happened.

"Thank you for helping Jack" he said

"No problem" I say shocked

"I'm fine you don't need to heal me up, if Jack is healed I'm healed" he explained and I nod

I stood up and held out my hand to help him out. He took my hand and I pulled him on his feet, he clicked his fingers and the blood stain left his jumper, now it looks like nothing ever happened.

I stare at him for a while until Anti broke the silence.

"You right Mini?"

"Y.....yeah it's just you're full of surprises" I reply

He chuckled and began walking up stairs to where everyone else is.

Jack's Pov

Vanoss stayed quiet for a long time with thoughts going through his mind,
But what is he thinking, a knock on the door cut his thinking short as he had waved his hand and the door swung open.

I took my eyes off Vanoss I see who knocked, Mini Ladd was the first to walk in then Anti soon after. My eyes widened to see that Anti looked like nothing had happened to him, I glanced at Vanoss who had the same expression on his face.

"Yeah pretty weird right?" Mini Ladd asked
We just nodded in response.

Lavender's Pov

Beth, Vent and I went into town for a while just to hang and chat about stuff. When we came upon this coffee shop and decided to stop there for lunch.

I ordered a caramel frappe for me and a milkshake for Beth, Vent ordered just a regular coffee. When we got our orders we sat down at one of the tables and talked.

"So Lavender, you in a relationship yet?" Beth asked

This question took me by shock that I began to choke on my frappe, causing me to have a coughing fit. When I recovered she wiggled her eye brows at me.

"No it's not really a good thing to have a relationship when your the most dangerous assassin, plus your gonna put him in danger and I don't want to go through that" I reply slightly blushing.

Suddenly my phone began to ring, I looked at the screen to see who it was and my eyes widen.

"Hey guys do you mind if I take this?" I ask

"No, no go ahead by the look on your face it looks important" Venturian replies

"Thanks I say and run to the bathrooms and answer the phone

"Hello?"

"Hello sweetheart"

"What do you want now?"

"I seen you didn't kill Anti so I did the job for you, now next on the list is your precious lover boy"

"No please I can't kill him"

"Assassins are not meant to fall in love Lav so get the job done!" And with that he hung up the phone

I sighed and put my phone back into my jean pocket, I wasn't in my assassin clothes I made sure I changed before I went out. How can I kill the guy I like? I can't, I won't, I exit the bathroom still thinking about the call until I bumped into someone.

"Oh sorry" he said

"No no it's my fault I should have been looking at where I was going" I say and looked at his face

It was him, it was my next target.
