We lay Dark down on the floor and I use my powers to keep his powers alive, while Jimmy is helping Vanoss. I felt as if someone was watching me and I look over my shoulder to see her watching me.

"So, Ruby or Beth which ever one you are now, tell me a bit about yourself" I say

"Well for your information I'm Beth, and that's all your gonna get"

"But I'm 15 and I've been friends with Vent for quite some time" she said with no sass

"Oh really?" I ask

"Yeah, we met walking down the street, I bumped into him on accident almost spilling my water on him, my friend was with me at the time and we just grown close to Vent and became good friends but one day my friend disappeared and left me alone, so I went to Vent and he's been taking care of me ever since, kinda like a big brother, which kinda made sense when I found out the Jimmy and Ruby were siblings" she said in a sad tone looking down at her feet.

"Interesting Jimmy never talked about you before" I informed

"He doesn't like putting me in danger even though I can handle myself just fine" she says crossing her arms

And the sass is back

"You got pretty cool powers" she complimented

"Thanks, have you got any?" I ask

"Yep but a magician never tells his secrets" she says

I roll my eyes and focus back on Dark, his eyes open quickly as he grabs my hand.

"Whoa Dark it's me, Anti" I say calming him down

He looks at me with a grin and let's go of my hand and sits up rubbing his head.

"Hey Anti" Mini says

I look at him and see Evan is awake as well. I help Dark up and walk over to Evan.

"Thanks Jimmy I owe you big time" I say

"Now let's get home and find out who smashed my kitchen window" Evan say angrily

I nod and start to walk way with the others behind us.

"Why? What happened to your window Vanoss?" Jimmy asked

"It got smashed on its own while Anti, Mini and I were talking in the lounge room"

"And every body else was up stairs so it wasn't us" Delirious interrupted

Jimmy looked worried and he glanced at Beth then back at us, and grinned

"You wouldn't mind if we tagged along would you?" He asked

"Sure the more the merrier I always say" Vanoss said heading towards the front door.

"Ah Vanoss, we didn't take the car if that's where your heading too" Mini Ladd informed

He stopped and looked at me with a smile

"You used a portal didn't you?"

I nodded and gave him a smile. He chuckled

"How was the ride boys? Was it fun?" Vanoss asked

"Hahahaha Mini almost puked" Delirious chuckled

"Shut up you weren't too far behind!" Mini shouted

"Alright you two arguing and bickering isn't gonna get us home" I say

"That's right but lucky for you we aren't using a portal" Vanoss began to say

"Oh thank god" Mini says

"We are teleporting" Vanoss said

But before anyone could say anything else he snapped his fingers and we were all of a sudden back at his house in the kitchen.

"A bit of a warning would have been appreciated!" Mini screamed

We all laughed until Venturian pushed through us and looked at the scene.

Venturian's Pov

I looked in the kitchen and I could see shattered glass everywhere until a glimpse of purple caught my eye. I walked over to it and picked it up.

It was an assassin dagger. My eyes widen and I quick shoved it in my hoodie pocket and stood up

"What ya find?" Beth asked

"Nothing just looking at how the glass may have been broken" I reply

"Any leads?" Vanoss asks

"No nothing, may we should ask the others if they seen anything while you were away" I suggest

"Ok let's go"

And they all leave the room but I grab Anti's arm and pull him to me back into the kitchen.

Anti's Pov
I was about to walk out of the room but pulled back into the kitchen by Venturian.

"Vent what's up?" I ask

"Shhh, I may know who it is but you can't tell anyone ok?" He whispered

"But that person broke into Vanoss's house" I reply

"Please" I says

"Fine" I say rolling my eyes

"Until we find the person in the act do not say a word" he ordered

"Yes ok" I reply

He let go of my arm and we caught up with the others. We looked around and there was nobody anywhere, Vanoss turned to us and shrugged we looked at him and shrugged back. Where could they have gone?

"I'll call some, Delirious you call the rest, Mini clean up in the kitchen and fix the window, Dark, Anti, Vent and Beth look around the house" Vanoss says and with a quick nod everyone went to do their job.

"Vanoss, you guests left to their homes as you were absent" Gladis informed

"Thanks Gladis" Vanoss said

"Anything for you Vanoss" she replied

"Did the house just talk?" Beth asked

"Oh yeah, Beth, Gladis, Gladis, Beth" I say

"Hi" Beth said

"Welcome Beth" Gladis said

"Well we don't have to search anymore so let's help Mini in the kitchen" Dark said

"Sounds like a plan" I say and we all headed to the kitchen.

When we got there Vanoss and Delirious were already there and Mini had already done everything.

"Did they see anything?" Dark asked

"Yeah they said they seen a strange hooded figure but they couldn't see their face only the persons eyes" Vanoss replied

"What colour were they?" Venturian asked

"They said they were a type of dark maroon colour but it was to hard to see for sure" Delirious replied

"Then that means they didn't see they eye colour properly" Dark said

"Yeah but we will get them next time" I say

"Next time, there won't be a next time we are going to find this person" Mini Ladd replied

"Get some rest we'll search tomorrow" Vanoss said and with that we all headed to bed
