Avona: Following the Separatist Victory over the republic a new Supreme Chancellor in Padme Amidala rose to predominance.

However as she battles in the senate to maintain the peace and Stability of the broken and defeated Galactic power her enemies plot to destroy her reign before it has Barely Begun.

(3rd Person POV 18 BBY).

in the defeated republic The Civilians were Breathing a sigh of relief and were Grateful to Chancellor Padme Amidala the chancellor who had preserved their homes most Middle class and standard Citizens of the republic didn't care about the succeeded Separatist worlds so they viewed the war as pointless especially as they struggled to acquire ends meet while Coruscant drained them of Manpower with their forced conscription laws.

So even though the republic lost the war they were just happy to get their lives back since Padme in accordance to her own kindness and charity plus the Treaty of Coruscant she handed over many industries back to The civilian sector governments to improve their economies.

The only ones unhappy with the new status quo was the rich and elite as padme commanded them to contribute to rebuild the shattered Galactic power and they felt they were being overtaxed.

One such individual was Senator Orn free Taa former representative of the planet Ryloth who was furious with Chancellor Padme's reforms and surrender to the confederacy since He wanted and craved a return of his power over Ryloth .

'Curse the confederacy and Curse Syndulla and Curse our weak Chancellor.' He thought to Himself bitterly as he continued to wander the underworld of Coruscant enroute to a secret meeting with other anti Amidala Senators.

As he neared the meeting place a local Cantina a Man in black steeped in front of his path.

"Who are you." Taa demands arrogantly.

"A man who wishes to see the republic rise to greater standing than it was before." He says while raising his pistol at the Senator.

"Put that gun down we both want similar goals I have money and power I can help you." Taa says trying to barter for his life.

"I don't care. Your power pales compared to my master." He says pulling the trigger as the former senator falls over dead.

As the mystery man walks away he leaves a souvenir near the body. A clone shoulder pad.

(Senate chambers 2 days later).

The senate was in an uproar. Police and Jedi units had found the body of former Ryloth Senator Orn Free Taa and they had found a clone armor piece near the body.

Knowing that Padme controlled the military directly they called for an emergency session so that Padme could be questioned in front of them all.

The prosecutors decided that Senator Donnel Udina representative of Andara a heavily Human Centric world and an extremist in his support to going to war with the Confederacy.

"This session was called because myself and my colleagues have reason to believe that Supreme Chancellor Padme Amidala is responsible for the assassination of former esteemed senator Orn Free Taa." Udina declared before the entire senate.

Many senators immediately erupted into protest.

"OUTRAGEOUS."

"WHAT PROOF DO YOU HAVE."

"CHANCELLOR AMIDALA WOULD NEVER STOOP THAT LOW."

The yelling continued until Mas ameda called for order.

"And just why do you believe she is responsible for this murder. The Chancellor has never had any History of killing anyone to get what she wanted." Senator Tills of Mon Cala Declared.

"Simple She is supreme Commander of the clone armies and ever since her rise to power she has removed senators who were a threat to her power and oh so noble goals." Udina Said Mockingly.

Despite his argument many in the chambers knew The senators Padme had removed were in Accordance to the Treaty of Coruscant and who were notorious Palpatine supporters and Corrupt individuals who cared only about wealth and power.

"Idiot Need I remind you Chancellor Amidala has returned her executive powers to the Senate and overall command of the armies is under Grand General Carson Brimarch and therefore any questions to clone activity should be brought to him not the esteemed chancellor." Senator  Prince Acton Tetan Of the empress Teta system argued back.

"It matters not who ordered it it is clear Chancellor Amidala will lead us to ruin by weak leadership. How long can we expect the confederacy or Mandalorians to sit Idly by while infighting exists within our great republic. 

It is for that reason I call for a vote of no confidence in Chancellor Amidala's leadership." He declared.

The senate erupted many cheering for the removal of the unpopular Chancellor but Some others were furious.

Mas Ameda seeing an opportunity for his growth of Power Called for teh vote to take place immediately and by a 60% Majority Padme was removed and elections were slated to take place in 2 months.

(CIS Space 2 months later).

The People of the confederacy were ecstatic. The war was over and now they could finally return to peaceful lives.

Unlike the republic many cheered and Praised their Grand countess who had led them to Victory She had been true to her oath and had fought tooth and Nail to protect them an don worlds like Ryloth, Kynar, Jabiem she was hailed more as a hero.

her status was so legendary that Avona couldn't go anywhere without people swarming her with thanks and praises. She frequently however would turn that credit back to the People she had fought beside who had secured their Freedom.

Despite her humility The people never forgot how she had freed them from the republic and The senate declared the day of the Signing of the treaty of Coruscant would forever be known as Countess Day a celebration of their Leader who had crushed the core.

Avona was also quick after the war to hand over her executive powers back to the Parliament and she assumed the post of figure head of The CIS and to avoid holding too much power she handed over the Ministry of the raxon Trade Guild to her loyal soldier and former knight Lincoln Terrance who became the new Grand Minister of the Raxon trade guild. A post he did very well in since a lack of mobility made him very intelligent and effective when it came to administration duties.

However At the recommendation Of Parliament Head Avi Singh Avona had the power to declare war and had to be consulted on every new planet addition into the confederacy  and she could also dismiss senators if she deemed them inadequate in their oath to their people.

Avona allowed the confederacy to trade with other powers but she frequently refused Alliance offers from Mandalore since she didn't want to get dragged into another war. But she also kept the republic on a tight leash and if a venator was sighted going beyond the treaty zone they would be ordered to turn around or else they would be destroyed. 

And the threat of war even if the confederacy wasn't as militarized as it used to be was a big threat to the republic.

But since the war was over Baktoid Industries was no longer creating Battle droids at the same rate or the same profits indeed Avona used droids as garrisons for the vast territory of the confederacy but Avona had decommissioned a lot of the military industry to help improve the civilian economies after the war.

when these complaints were brought to Avona's attention she summoned poggle to a meeting.

Flying to Morelia Poggle was amazed at the Beauty of Morelia and was a little jealous of Avona's luxuries she lived in.

Entering teh palace Avona live din he was escorted by two Shadow troopers to a Grand hall where lining the room were the newly crowned Knights of Beskar.

Avona had dismissed most of the original knights and allowed them to return to civilian life or assume new posts in the confederacy while new knights were made. (An: comment I you want on a new knight I wont name them I wanted to include you guys).

"Lord Poggle welcome." Avona said from her throne standing up and bowing to the Arch duke.

"Grand Countess I come with news from my ministers." Poggle says while bowing.

"I see what is it." Avona questioned walking over to a table and pouring herself some water offering a cup to poggle.

"They are concerned your reforms may Cause Baktoid to seek new investments because our profits are down significantly. I've attempted to offer reformed ideas but they refuse to listen." Poggle said worry in his tone.

"I see. Arch duke you know just as well as me most in the confederacy don't want war only peace. But If Baktoid rebels and seeks other opportunities it may cause disasters in other parts of the galaxy.' Avona replied stroking her chin.

There was silence for a few minute still Avona had an idea.

"what if we made more droid factories on new worlds it wouldn't be much but if we increased Baktoid Ranges it might boost profits again." Avona suggested.

"That could work. But where would we expand." Poggle questioned.

Smiling Avona pulled up a hologram of the Chiss ascendancy star map. "The Chiss High council is going to make their declaration of joining us public but we need a route to connect us and them and if say Baktoid were to push a new frontier from us to them I wouldn't be opposed to some new factories on worlds along the route for security of course." Avona told the arch duke who was now smiling.

"excellent idea I'll inform My minsters at once and we can coordinate this with the Raxon Trade Guild and shadow order as well.' Poggle declared.

However as he turned to leave an aid came running into the throne room.

"Grand countess you need to check the Holonet." He told Avona out of breath.

Turning on her holopad to the news she was horrified by what she saw.

She saw a man she only heard about declaring before a large crowd the Beginning of the 1st Galactic empire.

Avona scowled at the hologram as she ordered everyone to leave while walking back to her throne.

'So the republic thinks because it puts on a strong face I'll back down and become submissive hmm. If this empire thinks for one minute teh confederacy will kneel they are sorely mistaken.

if I Publicly demand Padme be returned to the chancellor ship she'll surely be killed and I don't want that.

But I know how to strengthen the confederacy without turning fully military.' Avona thought to herself as she went over maps of the unknown regions before saying to herself.

"THE CLONE WARS ARE OVER BUT A COLD WAR HAS JUST BEGUN."

(AN: I hope you all don't mind the slightly rushed chapter I Just didn't want to create a bunch of filler content that wouldn't be all that exciting and I don't want to put y 'all to sleep lol.
