Bakugo and Kirishima never talked about what happened 6 days ago. It was intimate and very personal… so, Kirishima decides not to bring it up until Bakugo feels comfortable enough to tell him what happened.

Bakugo woke up the next morning with Kirishima laying his head on the side of the bed while holding his hand, which must be a very uncomfortable position to sleep in… seeing how Kirishima didn't move from the (uncomfortable) plastic chair.

He didn't know what to do so he just pretended to sleep, slightly red-faced until Kirishima woke up and let go of his hand, mumbling a flustered apology to the supposedly asleep Bakugo.

The past 5 days were bland if you look at it from a work point of view. There was no tracking down criminals, solving murders or anything interesting.

One time Kiirishima was walking back from a nearby restaurant, a cat (which he now calls Scar) kept hissing and following him until it accidentally bonked into a post box. Kirishima petted and coddled it for a few minutes before going back inside.

Other than that, it's just Bakugo and him showing each other memes and pictures that reminded them of the other or thought the other might find it funny.

He once showed Bakugo a post of a Pomeranian with durian skin on its head like a hat. "This is you", he said. Bakugo nearly flung his phone out the window.

A day later, Bakugo shoved his phone in his face and he's met with an edited photo of him with the broom head as his hair and the smile of Bruce the Shark from Finding Nemo slapped over his mouth. Kirishima nearly threw Bakugo's phone out the window that time.

They get under each others skin a lot, but it made those 6 days less boring in the hospital and both of them silently decided to keep sending each other dumb shit.

On the morning of the 7th day, Bakugo got discharged from the hospital and he was immediately grinning and jogging down the halls once he got back to the station. He was bloody ecstatic after being restless for so many days.

Two days later, they're now stuck in an admittedly, really nice car as they drive through the underground routes of Japan. The raid was moved to today since their agents ran into some small problems. Fortunately, they managed to get out of it smoothly.

Kirishima grins as he races down the tunnels, lights flashing by, bathing him in a dim gold light every few seconds. He steps on the gas and the engine gives a nice purr while the car speeds up.

"Watch it, dipshit. We don't need another accident right now", Bakugo chides.

Kirishima chuckles as he slows the car down slightly. "Right, right…", he mumbles.

Bakugo leans over to turn on some music and Mr. Blue Sky plays on the radio. Kirishima giggles happily as he starts singing along.

"This is one of my favorites!" Kirishima chortles.

"You're driving dumbass!"

Kirishima keeps his eyes on the road as he starts rolling his shoulders to the beat and jumping slightly in his seat.

Bakugo laughs while he warbles out some of the lyrics, humming at the parts he doesn't know and letting Kirishima take over.

The song ends a minute later and changes to Come A Little Bit Closer by Jay & The Americans. This time, Bakugo starts singing.

And boy, he's good.

"Oh my god", Kirishima mumbles, smiling.

He stays focused on the road as he sings along, occasionally glancing over to see Bakugo dancing the best he can in his seat.

"Oh my fucking god", he whispers, heat crawling up his neck (which he decisively ignores).

-

"They're at our main base, sir", he mumbles, down on one knee.

He glances up as the boss stares him down, shifting in his seat. "I thought your friend said they found one of our hideouts? Why are they here?" The woman questions.

He hears the audible clicking of a gun reloading. He stays quiet as the boss readies her gun.

"I'm sorry, sir. He misheard."

The window shatters and a bullet zips past him, finding its home in one of the bodyguards standing next to her.

'Must be him.'

He tries his best not to jump. Although he knows his friend wouldn't purposely aim at him, a bullet flying past him still isn't fun. Added on, jumping means he's scared, something the boss doesn't find appealing.

She glances at her dead bodyguard, her sharp fingernails tapping the wood of the chair before standing up.

"Deal with this. I'll be heading to the second-in-command. Make sure Remona is notified and ready".

"The back is the safest route out. I'll be heading out now, sir", he stands up.

"Dismissed. Deal with this quickly. Blow them up if you have to."

He bows deeply as she turns around and heads out the escape door. He watches silently before walking out the door, loosening his tie.

"Such a difficult boss…"

He switches on his phone and rents out a burner number. He dials his friend using the number and waits for him to pick up.

-

He lays back on the chair, waiting for a call to arrive. He hums a short tune under his breath until he's cut off by his phone vibrating. He plucks it from the desk and answers.

"Yo, can you deliver a margarita? I need a drink."

"Sure thing", he replies, dragging the chair over to the keyboards.

He hangs up and opens up his recent texts to a friend while taking a sip out of his tea.

Me: get a margarita delivered :)))

T.H: noted! On the way.

He looks at all the monitor screens as a pop up appears on it one by one, downloading all the footage to the pen drive that is already inserted.

He rolls over to the other side of the room while spinning in his chair to mess with the alert systems before shutting them down, shutting off the lights along with it.

He glances over as each area the CCTVS monitor all becomes dark one by one. A pop up appears, deleting all the footage before going completely black.

He hums as he takes another sip out of his tea, dialing the boss. "Sir, our cameras were hacked. The power is completely dead too."

"You're our newly appointed tech master… since our last one had to deal with an unfortunate punishment. Fix it."

"Yes, si-" he fakes a choking noise as he pushes the computers off their desks- "r…". He didn't make a sound at the end.

"Bloody useless…"

He didn't reply as he watched the boss hang up. He hums as he opens the back case of his phone and plucks the data chip out. He places the back case back before dropping his phone on the ground and watching it break.

He grabs his gun from the table and finishes his tea, stepping around the corpses as he drops the cup, listening to it shattering into pieces as it meets the ground.

"Better join the field…", he hums, opening the door and walking out.

-

Bakugo watches as all the power goes out in the factory. He cocks his gun and fires at a man charging towards him as he yells at Aizawa.

"What's going on?!"

"Margarita. The plan is working, just keep things busy out here!" Aizawa yells back.

Bakugo turns his attention back to his new attacker. He doesn't have time to raise his gun so he ducks down and loops his arm underneath the man's shoulder and pins him to the ground before breaking it.

The man drops the knife he's holding as he yelps in pain and Bakugo grabs it before anyone else has the chance to do so. He steps on the man's throat as he picks up one of his legs, frowning as he breaks it.

"Too bad."

"Kirishima to your left!" He hears Aizawa yell.

His attention immediately focuses on the man fighting a few meters away from him. A woman was charging towards Kirishima and he cocks his gun while standing up.

Just as Kirishima turns around to face his attacker, Bakugo fires his gun, the bullet piercing through her neck cleanly.

He lets out a breath of relief when Kirishima smiles at him.

Several seconds after, he's falling. Time feels slow for him as someone wraps an arm around his neck and squeezes. He  coughs, trying to get some air as he clutches onto the arm and wriggles around.

"Son of a bitch", he hears someone mumble, trying to get him to stop moving.

Bakugo lifts his arm to reach for his gun but someone grabs his wrist.

'Fuck.'

He's starting to black-out until he feels the pressure around his neck being lifted. He gulps in a large amount of air as his fingers brush the skin of his neck gently, coughing out spit occasionally.

He hears someone groaning and a gun being fired. A few seconds later a hand is stroking his back soothingly and someone is whispering something in his ear.

"Breathe."

He coughs as he sits on the ground, inhaling the best he can. "Fuck, I hate being choked on the ground", he mumbles.

The hand continues rubbing his back and he turns to face Kirishima, lifting an arm to smack him on the shoulder.

"Come on, we have shit to handle", he mumbles, standing up.

Kirishima smiles at him fondly and he smiles back slightly.

-

He slits the man's throat and watches as he slides down onto the ground. He covers the man's eyes before grabbing the sniper rifle, searching the man's body for extra ammo.

The door bangs open and he zips in up close immediately, his knife in hand while looking up.

"Chillax man, it's just me", the man says, holding his hands up, gun in one hand.

He grins as he straightens himself, fist-bumping his ally.

"With you pretending to improve the system when you're wrecking it and the code Hatsume secretly entered into the system worked."

The blonde-haired man snorts as he shakes his head.

"Man I should be thanking you Sero, your acting was convincing as hell. You fooled everyone, nearly fooled me", he says, winking.

"We both already did our part, Denks. Let's take down the rest on the inside before heading out. The girls are already moving."

Kaminari checks his gun barrel and passes the sniper rifle to Sero.

"Let's go. Blasty fired the first shot and I hope he isn't too mad! I heard he got a new partner and I want to be alive long enough to meet him."

Sero snorts as both of them walk out the door, chatting aimlessly while preparing their guns.

-

Kirishima cuffs someone as he watches two men walk out of the factory, one with blonde hair and a black lightning bolt and another with straight black hair.

"Blasty! Nice to see you!"

The blonde one ran over to sling his arm over Bakugo's neck which he shrugs off immediately, poker face on.

"Dunce Face. Soy Sauce Face."

"You nearly killed me with that first shot Bakugo", Sero whines, slapping his back.

"Dammit, I missed", Bakugo deadpans.

"It's a good thing you did! You took out one of the boss's bodyguards. You have a good but scary aim, Blasty", Sero replies.

Kirishima walks over as the blondie glances at him. The face of the lightning bolt blond lights up and he rushes over to shake his hand.

"Man, you must be Bakugo's new partner, Kirishima! I'm Kaminari, an undercover agent that does shit for Aizawa sometimes, and also hacks into things with Hatsume's help-", he points at the guy with straight black hair- " and that's Sero! Our most professional undercover agent-", a knife flies pass them overhead as they duck- "Oh my."

Bakugo pulls out his gun and shoots the woman's leg while Sero goes over to cuff her and bring the woman to the ambulance for a quick treatment.

"Anyways! Both of them should be nearly done by now. I need to go tell Aizawa! See you, man!" He rushes off again.

Kirishima stares blankly as he watches him rush off. He wasn't even able to get a word in.

Also, who's 'both of them'...?

-

"Funny how both of you are still here", the woman mutters bitterly.

She rolls her eyes while glancing at her partner, who shrugs. "Well, sorry boss. We have a job to do."

The three of them walk through the hallways that are now littered with corpses. There's enough blood on the every surface of the hallways and rooms to fill up at least 3 barrels.

Mina praises herself for wearing a suit instead of a dress and heels. It would've been annoying to get blood on them.

"Ugh, disgusting…", the woman mutters, stepping in a puddle of blood.

"We can clean your heels once we get to Remona's side", Hagakure says cheerfully, placing a hand on the woman's arm.

The woman stares pointedly at Hagakure until she removes her hand and they continue walking.

Mina holds out her gun as she edges into a room, making sure it's clear. The woman waits outside, tapping her foot impatiently while Hagakure checks her ammo.

Someone jumps in front of Mina and she fires her gun, watching as blood splatters the wall behind the victim.

She pokes the man with the tip of her dress shoe to confirm whether he's dead or not before sighing.

She peeks her head out of the door and motions them to come inside. "Coast is clear now."

She lets the boss go through the opened trap door first with Hagakure behind her. Hagakure nods towards Mina, who smiles, before climbing out.

Mina watches as both of them climb down the ladder, she follows soon after. She jogs in front of the boss and inhales the cool, fresh air of the night.

"Have fun, Hagakure", she mumbles.

Hagakure, who was behind the boss, cocks her gun and aims at the woman's leg.

Bang.

A pained scream rings throughout the night as the woman falls to the ground, clutching onto her leg. Mina aims her gun at the woman while Hagakure aims it at her neck.

"Alright! You all can come out now!" Hagakure yells.

One by one, police officers come out from the small forest. Todoroki and Midoriya rush out and quickly pin the woman, who was struggling while cuffing her.

"You fucking bitches!"

Mina stares as Hagakure trots over to stand next to her. "Language, dear. You were easier than I thought, given how bloody your hands are for the past 3 years and how you've avoided us", Mina says, holding onto her gun.

Midoriya hands her over to Shoji and Tokoyami while Todoroki shrugs off his jacket. He passes it to Hagakure, who was shivering slightly because of the cold night wind, and she accepts it gratefully.

"She didn't do anything to you both, did she?" Midoriya asks.

Hagakure pats Midoriya's shoulder while Mina grins cheerfully. "As if we'd let her do anything to us. Thanks for worrying though!" Mina says while pinching Midoriya's cheek.

Hagakure runs off to get a change of clothes since being in a dress and heels isn't exactly comfortable.

Uraraka passes Mina a walkie talkie with Aizawa on the line. "Aizawa, sir! Good to hear from you! The boss has been captured, you can cease-fire now. We're bringing her to the station, we'll meet you there!"

-

Bakugo sits in the car as Kirishima tends to his wounds. He crosses his arms, frowning at the fact that he got hurt.

Everything ended when Aizawa got the message from Mina. They rounded up the last few members of the organization and hauled them all into police cars before walking over to the car they arrived in.

"Man, you're so stubborn. Couldn't you let the emergency workers treat you?" Kirishima mutters as he dabs the alcohol wipe on his cheek.

"Don't like em', too pestering, always act like I'm a damsel in distress… besides, these are small wounds", he grits out.

Kirishima clicks his tongue, placing the last bandaid over Bakugo's cheek.

"Your turn", Bakugo mumbles, taking the first aid kit from Kirishima's lap.

Kirishima turns around and pulls off his shirt, revealing a slightly deep cut down the left side of his back.

Bakugo immediately tends to it.

"Thanks for saving my life", Kirishima says quietly.

Bakugo applies cream onto the wound carefully. "It's the least I can do."

Kirishima laughs before hissing when Bakugo dabs at another cut.

"Dumbass", Bakugo mumbles. "I'm driving this time."

-

"I still severely regret letting you drive you bloody road maniac", Kirishima says.

"Shut up, you enjoyed it."

"Just a little bit, I was fearing for my life more."

"Can both of you stop bickering about what happened 5 hours ago?" Aizawa groans.

Both of them shuts up and snaps to attention, facing the man sitting in front of them.

"You both are allowed to take a few days off… you helped us crack the murder case and take down the organization. Kaminari and Sero had been undercover for a few months now because of it. Gima Daizu is safe and Kirishima, take good care of that wound on your back", Aizawa says.

Both of them stay silent, waiting for Aizawa to continue. Aizawa looks up from the file he was reading and stares at them with tired eyes.

"What the hell are you two still doing here. Get out of my office and get some food. Your stomachs are loud."

Bakugo grabs Kirishima's wrist and drags him out of the office. "Great, we'll be leaving, I'm fucking exhausted."

"Don't neglect-"

"THE FUCKING PAPERWORK AND REPORTS, WE GET IT", Bakugo yells, slamming the door behind him on the way out.

-

Both of them collapse on Bakugo's couch while Bakugo turns on the TV. A shitty cartoon came on and they were too tired to change the channel.

They enjoy the junk food they bought on the way back and they were starting to lose interest in the show. Kirishima started showing Bakugo funny pictures a few minutes later, completely paying attention to his phone instead of the cartoon.

They stay in comfortable silence until Bakugo starts speaking. “So… about the shit that happened in the hospital…”

Kirishima shifts to lean against the armchair, looking up from his phone. “I won’t tell a single soul without your permission. Promise”, Kirishima says, smiling gently. “Seeing your reaction, it was pretty obvious you were embarrassed. So, I decided not to bring it up. Besides, you’ll tell me when you’re ready.”

Kirishima pauses before adding on. “Your hand is really warm too. It’s nice…”

Bakugo’s face explodes into a blush. Sincerity, he was so sincere. Bakugo doesn’t get that often, his personality tends to make people avoid him and none of them were ever genuine with him.

“Shut the fuck up!” He yells while throwing a throw pillow at Kirishima, who was snickering. Bakugo can tell his intentions are pure and he crosses his arms in embarrassment.

“You owe me dinner, you fucking promised…”, he mumbles.

Kirishima grins. Bakugo remembers that promise, which makes him extremely happy. “Tomorrow? I found this really good curry place I wanna take you to when I was running back to your apartment”.

Kirishima is blushing lightly. He couldn’t see it clearly since they are in the dark with only the TV screen illuminating the area, but Bakugo can see hints of it.

“It better be good, Kirishima.”

“Have some trust in me, would you?”

He smiles. He does trust Kirishima.

Personally, I prefer a more, set, ending, but open ones are fun too. Originally, I had the idea: Rival Gangs/Mafia but I didn't think this was the story for it.

I'll perhaps leave that idea for (Shin) Soukoku, or maybe both. Requires lots of plotting, something I'm pretty sure I suck at but it's very fun so-.

I hope you all enjoyed reading and I thank you for your support, comments and votes! See y'all in like, the next story aha :D .
