Once upon a time there was a girl with long white hair. She was playful, cute, childish, and imaginative. She had daydreams of being a hero and slaying monsters or of being a villain and murdering travelers, traders, and citizens. Although these daydreams of being good or evil were just that; dreams, something very interesting will happen today....

"Avo? Avo! This is Houston to Avo you in there space cadet?" a someone asked waving their hand in front of the white haired girls face.

Avo blinked a couple of times leaving her daydream to return to the real world before looking up at the person, "Sorry! I was daydreaming. What do you need dad?" she asked the adult.

Their father sighed before messing up her hair causing her to whine, "Daaaaaad stooooop!"

This caused the man to chuckle, "Nooooooo. You still need to go help around the town like you promised."

Avo immediately got up excited, "Oh yeah!!!" she exclaimed with stars in her gray eyes.

"Now get out of here young lady. I still have to get some things ready for your birthday." he stated.

Avo nodded, gave him a hug, and began to walk on the path to the town.

*Timeskip for an hour*

    Avo walked over to the gates of the town and grabbed her short bow and arrows from a scarecrow and practiced archery on the scarecrow. Not too long after Avo begun practicing a villager came into the town flailing their arms screaming, "BANDITS! HELP THE BANDI-" getting cut off by an arrow to the back shot from a bandit with a crossbow leading a large group of bandits.

   Avo instinctively grabbed an arrow reading it into the bow before taking cover behind the fence surrounding the scarecrow. The bandits began to murder any villager they came across and set fire to buildings. After about an hour Avo peaked out from behind the fence aiming her short-bow in front of her. The smell of seared flesh and oak filled her nose as she looked around seeing the glowing crimson of fire but no bandits. She got around the fence lowering her bow but keeping an arrow at the ready. The main path back into the main town was blocked by flames causing her to follow a path up and across a bridge getting her close to her house. Still not seeing any bandits she moved closer to her house before noticing a body on the ground in front of it. She inched closer only to gasp and run over to the body. It was of her father with an arrow in the head and a dagger in his hand. With tears in her eyes she took the dagger from his hand putting it on her belt, before closing his bloodied eyes and taking his hands setting them on his chest. Avo wiped the tears from her eyes then stood up her breathing shallow before hearing a bandit scream a war-cry behind her. Avo quickly loaded an arrow into her bow turned around launching it at the bandits head stopping the bandit to fall to the ground lifeless. Avo then saw a man behind where the bandit fell and began to grab another arrow from her quiver before the man put his hands up, "Woah there young one. I'm here to help."

The man continued to walk closer to her. Avo looked him up and down before slightly lowering the bow.

"That was quite the shot, but we need to leave if you don't want to end up like your father." the man stated gesturing towards the father's corpse.  Avo gave him a cold stare before the man put his hand out.

"I will take you to the Heroes Guild where you can be safe." the man responded clearly rushing his words. Avo looked back at her father before sighing and hesitantly taking the man's hand. A glowing blue circle around the two formed before they disappeared from the burning town. The two then appeared on a lush green hill in front of what appeared to be a training camp with a church looking building behind it. Avo looked around a little sick to her stomach.

"Welcome to the Heroes Guild." the man said gesturing towards the building and training camp.
