Avo entered the forest and walked up the pathway to meet Maze. She saw him standing looking slightly bored. It was silent for a few minutes and they could hear distant fighting. “Do you know what day it is girl?” Maze asked breaking the silence.

“It's March 15th sir, the day of the final exam for me.” Avo responded immediately after he asked.

“Correct. You have been an outstanding hero in training. You excel at almost all weapons, ranged and other wise. Today, I will test all that you have learned and be the deciding factor to if you graduate.” Maze said turning to look at her before continuing, “You will fight me with each of your skills. First ranged, than strength and finally will.”

After saying that Avo got out her bow and he teleported farther away from her. “You must hit me with your bow and arrows 3 times” Maze said before Avo quickly loaded an arrow and shot him the first time. He was fine of course he was fine he had done this many times before but the first arrow surprised him. He teleported again behind a tree to cause confusion in Avo. It worked for a short time but Avo soon rolled into his sight and fired the second and third arrow hitting him in the chest and leg. 

“Well done girl. Now get out you sword and hit me as hard as you can 3 times. Know that this time I will be attacking back,” he said getting out his long sword and charged her. Avo quickly switched from her bow to her sword and braced for the blow. He then teleported behind her to surprise her with a sneak attack, but to his surprise she sidestepped the attack and hit him with the side of her sword winding him. He staggered back before Avo hit him again knocking his sword away before striking him one last time causing him to fall on his arse

“Once again well done. Now do you still remember the lightning spell the guildmaster taught you?” Maze asked Avo.

“Yes I do sir.” Avo responded putting her sword in its sheath on her back.

“Good, you will use it to hit me while I try to attack you three times.” Maze stated before teleporting away.

Avo readied herself as her hands created a ball of lightning to fling at Maze. Maze then jumped down from a tree in front of her causing her to throw a string of electricity at him singeing his coat. He quickly attacked her in quick succession before her hand became electrified and she touched his chest launching him backwards into a tree. He fell to ground and rolled to attack again but Avo was already casting a large ball of fire at him causing him to try to roll out of the way letting his foot take most of the blow. He stood up quickly sweating and looked over to Avo who was just standing there looking almost bored.

“Congratulations, you completed all of the tests,” Maze said as he put away his sword. “Head back to the guildmaster now.” Maze said before he teleported back to his tower. With that Avo began to headed out of the forest to speak with the guildmaster.
