Avni questions kept coming back in his head...he got up and stood near the window

Neil: it's so easy for u to question only I know how I was without u Avni..u were my best friend since childhood but u took so many decisions without even telling ... then U stopped speaking and broke all contact with not only me but everyone and after so Many years u come back and think everything can be back to normal but it can't as things have changed Avni...u r the one who chose this path few years ago And maybe it's best if it stays like this

The next day Avni was sitting at Ali cafe as Vidyut had called her along with Riya and Juhi.

She was busy in her thoughts when Ali came and gave her cold coffee while sitting down next to her

Avni: thanks she said taking a sip

Ali: Avni stop stressing yourself on how to pacify Neil.. we all will think of something together

Avni: how can I not stress Ali he isn't melting at all in fact whatever I'm doing goes wrong.

Vidyut: Neil khanna is a tough nut to crack but as far as I know Avni metha doesn't give up easily

Avni and Ali turned to see Vidyut with the girls

Avni. I'm trying not to she said...Ali and Avni got up and hugged them.

Avni:: no case today ?

Vidyut: nope working on one from home so thought this is a chance where we can meet and think of a plan.

All sat down while Ali shouted for more coffee to be bought

Riya: how about we lock them in a room that way Avni can pacify Neil and  he will have to forgive her since they would be in a room Together and we won't open it until Neil agrees

Juhi: that would have worked for someone else but Neil is a police officer so it would be easy for him to break the door too

Juhi;: how about we say Avni is planning to go back to London

Vidyut: don't think that will work as he is angry at her for leaving in the first place.

Avni: my brain is not working

Vidyut: wait he said getting an idea

Ali: Kya wait

Vidyut: Neil bday is coming.

Riya: Oh yes that can be a way for Neil
To forgive u

Avni: please explain how

Vidyut: plan his surprise bday party...and give him a gift which is close to both of u or that has both of your memories

Ali: not a bad idea that would probably
Make him forgive u

Avni: I hope this works

Juhi : no harm in trying

Avni went back to khanna mansion and got Shweta and Bebe to plan Neil bday with her and they agreed as even they wanted Avni and Neil to be best friends like before and they hoped Avni plan worked .

Avni didn't disturb Neil while he was surprised at first thinking she will probably try new tricks to make him forgive her but she didn't...he was curious as he knew Avni was not the one to sit quietly at certain time but thanks to his cases he didn't get to think about it much and got occupied in that.

Finally the day arrived it was Neil bday but nobody wished him....on top of that he was out for a case since two days and was returning back on his bday unaware of the surprise planned for him at home

Meanwhile at the khanna mansion Avni made sure the decoration was in place while the gang made sure  food and cake was ready and on it's way ..Ali was checking the music system while the khanna family went to get ready..soon the metha family came along with Vidyut and Juhi family.

An hour later
Neil came back home to see the lights off

Neil:it's only 7pm y is the lights off at this time

He walked in and turned on the lights

"SURPRISE" He heard everyone shout and looked ahead to see his family along with the metha family and all his friends.

Neil:all of you here? He asked confusingly not noticing the decoration and the big banner which had 'happy birthday' written.

Ali: dude it's your bday please don't say u forgot he said Ponting at the banner which Neil just noticed

Shweta: dekha neela I told u he would forget... neela laughed a bit shaking her head

Avni: of course he will forget aunty after all he is a year older now. Neil juat rolled his eyes at her.

Vidyut: happy bday bro he said moving forward to hug him followed by the others while Neil said thanks to all of them with a small fake smile

Avni walked to him last

Avni: happy bday bestie She said moving to hug him and felt Neil stiffen while he didn't hug her back but when she moved her face backs he saw his angry face

Avni: I'll give u your gift later she said breaking the hug ignoring the look he was giving her.

All celebrated his bday

The cake was Bought.

Shweta gave him the knife and told him to go ahead

Bebe: come on Tillu make a wish and blow the candle

Neil looked at Bebe and smiled slightly

All sang happy bday while Neil blew the candle and cut the cake...however all knew he didn't make any wish...he started to feed the cake to his family while they heeded him back

Aladdin : here u go mr cop this is your gift

Neil: thanks Aladdin he said talking the gift

Vidyut: and this is from me and Juhi he said while Juhi gave Neil the gift and he gave her a side hug

Ali: bhai me and Riya r giving u gifts separately

Riya: haan because this stupid was not letting me chose my gift properly so we both decided to gift u something individually

Neil: thanks guys

Dd: and this is from me sir jee sorry it's small but I hope u like it

Neil: come on Dd a gift is not about what size it is it should be about how a person emotions r attached to it

Prakash: uff u friends can give your gifts to Neil after for now let's enjoy the party

Ali: Aman start the music...Avni went near Neil and tapped on his shoulder ...Neil turned to look at her while Avni placed her hands on her ears but Neil moved away

Aman nodded and went to play the song yes U got it right it's none other than Galla goodiyaan  from dil dhadakne  do

Ali moved near Neil and danced around him

The next song that played was party to abhi toh party shuru hui hai from khoobsurat  the elders let the kids dance while The gang didn't let Neil go and he had no option but to stand their and clap while all danced around him .... but whenever Avni danced around him she kept holding her ears but Neil looked away every time

The elders went out in the garden to have their dinner while they knew the kids will be busy partying and they fill themselves up with the drinks and snacks such as mini pizza, cheese and chilli bites, garlic bread, pasta salad, crisp, spicy wedges , mocktail, cocktail , cider and Alcahol

Everyone left after 2 hours while the gang wished Avni good luck

Later on at night avni knocked and then entered into Neil room to give him his bday gift

Neil: I didn't say come in he said closing the case file he was reading

Avni: doesn't matter as u was going to say it right... anyway here is your gift she said handing it him

Neil looked at the gift then at her

Neil: I don't want it now please leave from here I'm busy

Avni: oh come on Neil at least open it. After All only I know how long it took me to decide on what to gift u and after a lot of thinking I came up with this  unique idea and planned this

Neil: of course u r an expert in getting ideas and planning things right he said sarcastically. Avni smile dropped but she ignored it

Avni: please Neil at least open it and see it for once.

Neil: I said no now leave

Avni: until u don't open this gift I won't go

Neil: I said no now leave

Avni: please she said ignoring him

Neil shook his head and took the gift and unwrapped it to see a collage of him and avni where each pics were taken during different phase of their life

Avni: like it? she asked praying that the gift would have made him melt toward her

Neil laughed with sarcasm and threw the collage on the bed

Neil: u think by doing all this everything will be ok ... thing will be back to normal.

Avni: yes as I know where I went wrong Neil and i actually said sorry na

Neil: u think by saying sorry everything would be ok

Avni: no but u could at least try and understand my point right?

Neil: oh... so let me also say that u can try and understand my point too
right he said getting annoyed now

Avni: u r actually not getting what I'm trying to say

Neil: I am exactly getting what u r saying

Avni: no u r not... she closed her eyes to calm herself ... look Neil whatever happened few years ago has happened I know u were not happy with whatever decision I took... but see i did it for us only.

Neil:really u did it for us? .... U never cared for any of us avni u just thought about yourself... we all told u we r there for u but no u just did what u feel like... u never ever thought how your decision would have an impact on others... even though u went there we waited thinking u will call after some time but no u didn't even do that... u just stopped...Now after 3 years u say sorry and think by saying sorry things will be back to normal but no it won't avni. U always want to be the one to take a decision and explain others to follow it. U r a selfish person avni a selfish person who only thinks about yourself he said in a heat of a moment... although he meant half of the things while the other things were said in anger

Avni: I'm not selfish was all she said
While having tears in her eyes and left Neil room while he realised what he said but didn't move from his place

Avni closed the door sliding against it

Avni: I'm not selfish Neil I'm not she said to herself.. she knew he didn't mean half of the things but it stil hurt her like hell and right now she was so hurt to think straight...she tried to slow down her sobs but wasn't able to

Bebe was going to the kitchen to fill up some water and went pass Avni room but she stopped when she heard Avni crying

Bebe: is Avni crying she thought to herself...she moved near the door and opened the door slightly to see Avni talking on the phone

Avni made a call to Aladdin to come and pick her up right now but he convinced her to stay there till morning and he will come and pick her up

Avni: I will stay away from u Neil...how can u blame me like this.. from now on I won't pacify u... I was determined to make u forgive me but if u think I was selfish enough to take all those decision then fine think like that

Bebe was thoughtful she was thinking what must have happened between avneil right now that she decided to go back home also Avni words kept ringing in her ear

Bebe: whatever it is I need to find out the whole thing. The reason as to y Avni and her friends were not in contact to each other

In the morning Avni came down with her small suit case and bag...Shweta was serving food to Prakash and Bebe while Bebe was in deep thoughts thinking about last night

Shweta: Avni beta what is this she said seen the small suit case with Avni

Bebe came out of her thoughts and looked to see Avni down with her bag

Neil who was coming down the stairs heard Shweta speak and then saw Avni walking towards the dining table and his eyes fell on the suit case next to her

Avni: I'm going back home

Precrap: Bebe: please tell me what is actually happening between Tillu and Avni.

Ali: nothing Bebe Neil was just upset that Avni left without saying anything and didn't contact anyone after that

Riya : and we even told u this before right

Dayawanti: but there seems more to it

Aladdin: there is

Bebe: and what is that

Aladdin: Avni loves Neil

Vidyut Juhi Ali and Riya looked shockingly at Aladdin since he told Bebe and dayawanti while Bebe and dayawanti looked at each other
