Avni: i'm actually having a doubt on how you became a police officer.

Neil: excuse me...i'm one of the best officer along with vidyut

Avni: yeah right...i don't know about vidyut but with  you im confused. You solve many cases but you couldn't solve this biggest case in your life.

Neil: How can whatever is happening betweeen us is a case

Avni: chalo your brain is slowly getting on working mode again

Neil: Avniiiiii

Avni: what Avni, everyone knows who i love, who is in my heart but you...you felt i love sahil.

Neil: i felt my place was slowly slipping in your life...maybe due to all the mistakes i made sahil may have made a better place than me he said looking lost..but avni's slap on his arm got him back to the present

Avni: your brain doesn't seem to be working I guess neil.

Neil: I did what I felt right after seeing & hearing you both at the orphanage.

Avni: You believed whatever you heard and thought  that after having feelings for you for so many years it would fly away with just one conversation that you heard.

Neil: Then? he asked in a low voice he somehwere felt he knew the answer but he wanted to hear it from avni..if she loved him still then what was the orphange scene about

Avni smiled as she moved forward and caressed his cheeks.

Avni: That orphanage scene was a drama for you to hear. I knew you was behind me and trust me it hurt over here when i let those words out of my mouth. She said pointing a finger towards her heart

Neil: But why?

Avni: during my birthday I heard you pour out your feelings. For a second i didn't believe that what i was hearing was true. I was shocked  yet my heart already knew the answer Neil. I was scared thinking that what if this moment broke but it didn't, as you continued expressing how much you love me. I know how my heart was beating 10x faster. When I opened my eyes slowly i found you asleep, making me realise how i had held my breath all that time. This became one of the best birthday because the man who I loved finally loves me back. Then before leaving for the police station you carried me towards the bed and whispered those loving words. Only i knew how i had contolled myself from smiling. I was waiting for you to confess again & as soon as i reached to the orphanage i told sahil that finally my best friend, my Neil loves me. But sahil stopped me.

Neil had a huge smile on his face listening to Avni. He was so happy to know that she heard his confession on her birthday only as he wanted it to become a memerobale one.
But hearing her mention sahil stopping her made the smile dissappear from his face.

Neil: Why did  you listen to him then?

Avni looked at Neil and held his hand.

Avni: Sahil stopped me because he wanted to see till what extent your love can go. He wanted  to see if your love was also unconditional like mine. I was not okay with that idea because for me love is no competition.

Neil: Then why did you agree avni?

Avni: Because Sahil questioned me if i doubted your love. Maybe i would have in the past but your rescent actions and confession msde me know how much you love me and i knew you're not selfish enough to keep me forcefully with you. But i never knew that once i come back home the step i had taken years back would have been repeated by you. I felt the pain Neil that you must have gone through she said holding his hands tightly as a tear rolled down her eyes.

Neil': Not only you but even i felt your pain that you went through years ago. Now i know how you must have felt seeing me and Mithali together and the decision you took in the end by leaving for London. It wasn't easy for you but you kept everyone else above your feelings. We both suffered Avni. He said wiping her tears. Neil rested his forhead against hers.

Avni: You won't leave me now na? She said sitting straight and looked at him.

Neil: wellllll..... he said pretending to think.

Avni: You know what Neil. Go... go back to your condo.

Neil: Mere condo se itni jalan Avni. He said playfully.

Avni: your condo is not my sautan for me to be jealous of. She said with a hidden smile.

Neil tucked a strand of hair behind her ears.

Neil: I would never leave you Avni. I'll always be near you. He said cupping her cheeks and kissed her forhead.

He suddenly got thoughtful which Avni noticed

Avni: What happened?

Neil: If Sahil wanted to test my love for you then why did he challenge me of taking you away from me? We were literally on loggerheads regarding you.

Avni was surprised hearing that and got a little thoughtful.

Avni: Sahil did say he had things to tell and he would tell us together.

Nel slowly nodded. He was sure that Sahil feelings regarding Avni was true because it clearly showed he loves her then what was all this drama for  Is all that ran in his head.

Suddenly the door opeend and the family memebrs came in talking among themselves. Avneil looked at each other and then their family memebers.

Avni: HELLO! What's the fuss about?

Aladdin: See i told you they would have forgotten about us. Champ some of us were thinking that you have forgotten about us and the other half were thinking that you both still haven't cleared things out.

Neil chuckled

Bebe: arien bolo toh sahi.

Neil: Haab bebe everything is cleared he said showing his and avni interwined hand as they smiled looking at each other and then the family.

Bebe: chalo shukar hai rab ka.

Neil: But there is something that stilll needs to be cleared. He said to which both the family ajd his friends looked at him confusingly.

Neela: what else is there left Neil.

Neil: Something that only Sahil can clear Neela ma. He said turning to look at Sahil who was standing in a corner and everyones gaze also followed his.

Shweta: What can Sahil clear. Tells us na tillu.

Avni geatured Sahil to come forward. He nodded and came and stood near Avni who held his hand with her other free hand. For the first time Neil somehwere didnt feel jealous.

Neil: Sahil. Why?

All looked at each other confusingly but Sahil very well knew what Neil was hinting at.

Sahil: I did all this so that you can realise your feelings for Avni he said looking at Neil and then Avni.

Avni: What else did you do? She said frowning at Neil and then Sahil.

Sahil: Torture your husband a little bit. He said giving a playful smile.

Ali: yaar saaf saaf batao exactly kya hua tha.

Neela: ek kaam kartien hai ghar jakar baath kartien hain.

Riya: haan metha mansion is closer from here.

All agreed and started to walk out.

Avni and Neil got up. They looked at their interwined hand and smiled

Neil: if it was in my hands i would have taken you away from here instad of metha mansion but i want things to get cleared he said tucking her hair behind her ear with his free hand.

They soon headed out and saw the family memebrs getting into the car. Neil took avni towards his jeep and opened the passenger side door for her before moving to his side.

15 mins later. Due to less traffic all had reached early.

All had been seated waiting for Sahil to start.

Sahil: When i came here with Diksha bua i was excited to see Avni but what shocked me waa that she got married. I wouldn't have told Avni to test Neil's love but.He said leaving his sentence hanging as he  looked at Avni and then Neil.

He looked at everyone as they looked at him keenly.

Shweta: But whats Sahil tell us na. She said eagerly while Prakash gestured her to calm down.

Sahil: Besdies me there is someone else over here who can also clear this out he said looking at everyone

DD: one more suspence sir jee he said to Vidyut who made him quiet

Neela: Who are you talking about Sahil.

Sahil: Bebe.

Some were stunned while some surpised.

Avneil: bebe? They said with a frown as they looked at bebe.

Dayawanti: You planned something without me Harleen. You could have trusted this friend of yours she said dramatically.

Bebe: chup!

Sahil: bebe why dont you start it off and I'll finish it. He said to which bebe nodded.

Bebe: despite avni and neil were married things started to get better between them but i dont know why i had felt some tension between avni and neil when vidyut and juhi haldi session was going on as things had been sorted. Ignoring all if that i thought they will sort it out. But when sahil had entered the pic during the wedding i didn't know that it would have a huge impact on Neil. When we were throwing flowers on vidyut and juhi my eyes fell on Neil only to see he was looking at Avni and Sahil. At that time kuch samajh nahi aya but then I noticed Neil wasn't satisfied when Avni decided to stay at the Metha mansion that day. But as dayawanti also told him to stay back there was a relief that came on his face tab I felt soemething is fishy for sure and somehwhere it was getting a little clear.
During the recpetion party i saw Sahil and Neil talking togrher and went near them. When Sahil got called by Diksha i was going to ask Neil as to why he seemed to be tensed when suddenly he said soemthing that cleared my doubt which is something i can never forget. She said smiling as she looked at everyone and then Avneil.

Avni: what did he say bebe she asked looking at Neil first then bebe

Neil tried to think and remember his interaction with Sahil at the recpetion and his own reaction after Sahil had left when his eyes widened that bebe heard something like that and also remembered till now.

Bebe looked at Neil

Bebe: yaad aya na tillu she said teasingly.

Neil: haan bebe, i remember now he said with a small smile playing on his lips.

Avni elbowed him gesturing *what*.to which Neil smiled as he shook his head.

Shweta: Bebe at least tell us what Neil said.

Bebe smiled as she went back to that night

Flashback

Neil: why am I feel jealous whenever sahil goes to avni? Why dont I like it. especially with what he said now?

Bebe who was about to take a step closer to Neil stopped when she heard what he had said. At first she waa a little shocked but slowly a smile came on to her face.

Avni looked at Neil as she never knew Neil waa effected by Sahil presence and that also from the first day of his arrival. She then looked at bebe when she started to speak.

Bebe: Phir when vidyut and juhi reception party was over i invited Sahil for breakfast the next day. At that time Neil was coming down, his expression clearly showed he was not happy to see Sahil but somehow controlled himself.
On the pretext of taking Sahil and to show Khanna mansion I decided to ask for his help she said looking at the rest and then at Sahil.

Flashback:

Sahil entered bebe room and looked around

Sahil: Nice room bebe he said smiling.

Bebe: Puttar giving you a tour of khanna mansion was an excuse to speak to you alone she said.

Sahil: excuse? I don't understand he said.

Bebe sat down and gestured Sahil to sit down.

Bebe: Sahil puttar. My Avni and Neil went through a lot in these few years. When Avni left from here it felt like our Neil also left with her. I won't go much into the past but things had gotten sorted between Avni and Neil. I dont know if I'm overthinking that there is some sort of tension between them but I'm 100% sure about something she said looking into space .

Sahil: Regarding what bebe?

Bebe: Neil is effected by your presence. Whenever you're near Avni. I had noticed this during the wedding but my doubt started to double when dayawanti told avni to stay back at metha mansion. When he came down few mins ago and saw you and that also standing with Avni my suspension turned into reality. My grandson may not see it but these eyes can tell that he somehwere has fallen for Avni, he just needs a push to realise it which only you can help me with.

Sahil: what if we are wasting our time and Neil actually doesn't have feelings for Avni.

Bebe laughed a little

Bebe: I know Neil very well Sahil. This guy would never have any problem with Avni being friends with anyone. But with you the reaction is totally different and somehwere I know my tillu doesn't like your closeness with avni.

Sahil: I don't know bebe. I don't want to hurt Avni in this process.

Bebe: Ok tell me one thing. Did you and avni do anything specific togerher in London ?

Sahil: we looked after a orphange together he said after a pause.

Bebe: Great. When we go down i want you to sit next to Avni and try to see Neil exptession. While talking I'm sure my family will ask what you do in the UK and if they don't then i will and by that see it for yourself when I tell you and Avni to work together at someone orphange and if you feel a bit of truth in what I'm saying help me otherwise leave it.

Sahil: Hold on a second. Will we be working at someone orphange? Like for real?

Bebe: Consider it our luck that one of Mt friend daughter is looking to hire someome who can look after the orohange and situation is perfect time.

Sahil thought for a second and nodded

As they reached down sahil did as bebe instructed. Bebe was watching Neils expression as Avni was serving Sahil wheras Sahil also made few glances towards Neil to see him looking in his an5s avni direction only.

Behe :Avni puttar why don't you do one thing. infact u and sahil both.

Neil was about to take a sip of his coffee
when he stopped as bebe said that and
looked at her.

Avni:what is that bebe?

Bebe:I know someone who has an
orphanage and they are looking for
someone who can run the orphanage.
well in London you handle your 0wn
orphanage very well and also sahil has
helped you too so why not both of you join over there?

Sahil looked at Neil, able to notice he was not ok with this

Neil:but bebe... before he could speak
sahil spoke

Sahil:that's actually an Amazing idea.. it
will be fun isn't it avni

Ali: So how did Sahil agree to your plan bebe?

Sahil and bebe smiled at each other.

Bebe: on the day Avni and Sahil joined the orphanages they had come to your cafe if you remember.

Ali was thinking when Sahil reminded him

Sahil: remember Ali Avni had twisted her ankle and at that Neil was also there.

Ali: oh yeah how can i forget that day. So you agreed then only.

Sahil: nope.

Bebe: That day i was suprised aa Avni and Neil came back home together as Avni was meant to be with Sahil at the Orphange but she was with Neil instead and ontop of that she said neil got me flowers. So going to my room i called Sahil up. Before you ask me i had taken his numbee when i had taken him on the pretext of showing khanna mansion. She cleared.

Flashback:

Sahil: hello?

Bebe: Sahil puttar it's me bebe.

Sahil: bebe? Is everything okay.

Bebe: haan all is good but tell me one thing wasn't Avni meant to be with you?

Sahil: she was bebe but Neil came and said he has to get something for you and it's urgent, he said he needed avni to go with him for That.

Bebe slowly smiled.

Bebe: haan. He actually got flowers for me. That was urgent for him.

Sahil was thoughtful for a sec

Sahil: i think you're right about Neil bebe. I noticed his reaction at the khanna mansion and also at the cafe. Plus the way he took Avni on the pretext of getting you something. It all makes sense.

Bebe: thank god. So tell me will you make avni and neil become one.

Sahil: jee bebe... neils jealousy will make him realiae his own feelinga. Let it begin he said.

Bebe: Thank you beta.

Sahil: please dont thank me bebe. This is the least i can do. But in this process i know I'll be hurting Neil. Will you be ok with that?

Bebe: it will hurt but in the end its for their own good. It's high time that Neil realises his feelings now. They have been away from each other for so long. Its time for their love to blossom and that can only happy once Neil understands his feelings. So as you say it. Let it begin.

Sahil nodded as he started to think of ways.

Sahil: There was times where i made Neil jealous  for instance the basket ball match where I  addressed her as my  luckycharm although she is, then making his blood boil when I took Avni for dinner on the day where me and Neil challenged each other on who Avni will be in the end. It was a way to provoke him. Our food comeptition at the metha mansion which i wont lie now but i did cheat and mess up with Neil's food. Then bebe told me Neil plans of telling everyone to be ready on Avni's birthday, so i used that as another opportunity and took everyone before he came as i knew that would take neil anger to such height. Then yesterday itself Avni came and told me that Neil had confessed to her thinking she is awake but seeing her eyes closed he assumed she was asleep.

Neil looked at Avni despite her saying that she heard his confession it still made his heart fill up with love everytime. Avni turned to look at him as she smiled when she felt him interwined their fingers.

Sahil: that was my last attack on Neil. I knew he loved Avni madly but I wanted to see if he can sacrifice his love for Avni just like how she did. Somehwere i knew the answer yet I wanted him to prove it, thats why I had told Avni to do that act when she told me that Neil loves her too and how he had planned to confess to her again yesterday.

Neil: so that was all a act to see what I do next. He said proceeding Sahil words .

Avni: haan when I told sahil about this he told me he has planned something but didn't tell me. Then he came up with some script and kept on telling me to read the whole thing but i didn't as i had no idea that all this had things to do with Neil and me, then during lunch time he again told me to practice and read... as i started to read the whole thing thats when he told me Neil will come at the orphanage and thats when we had to do our act.

Flashback

Sahil: avni come on let's practice... he said handing her the paper

Avni: but at least finish your food

Sahil: I'm done

Avni: that quickly

Sahil: yup? ..now come on you can eat after

Avni: but why are you rushing?

Sahil: you will know soon for now let's
practice he said closing the containers
and took avni spoon and placed it down

He then gave her the script and made her read it

Avni eyes widened as she read the script

Avni: this is famiilar. Its like its mine and Ne...she stopped and looked at Sahil

Sahil: Neil is going to come here Avni and i want you to say these lines when he arrives.

Avni: No are you mad. He is going to confess Sahil so there is no point of all this.

Sahil: There is trust me, for others it may not be needed but for me, for you and for Neil its needed Avni, i want to see if Neil can sacrifice his love for you or not.

Avni: but Sa...she couldn't continue as Sahil interrupted.

Sahil: Do you trust Neil? Do you think he doesnt love you unconditionally that's why you don't want to do this.

Avni: I trust Neil Sahil and i know he wont force his love upon me, but if you want to see it for yourself then  let's get over with this she said.

Sahil: i know he wont force his love on you, I just want him to realise that just like yours even his love is unconditional and that you both can do anything for each others happinesss.

Avni nodded.

An hour later Sahil saw Neil and smirked.

Sahil: i promise after this you both will always be happy he said wiping her tears as he turned to Avni seeing her watch Neil.

They soon got ready for their act

Sahil geatured Avni as she started the act feeling a pain in her heart knowing how hurt Neil will be.

Sahil: After Neil left Avni broke down as she knew Neil was hurt, we left straight away after Neil did but at that time itself,  someone's car met with an accident so we had to take the longer route, we thought neil would sign the papers and give it to Avni.

Avni: but he took the step thst i did by leaving the letter. For a second i thought i lost him but thankfully through vidyut we got to know he was at the condo.

Sahil: Avni was determined to go to Neil at that time but i had to take her home sometime, itna drama hua so ek last drama hi sahi

Shweta: thats when Sahil told about his plan to make you confess as you hadn't answered Avni call and the only way to get you here was make you panic by telling about Avni being at the hospital. Though you assumed on your own that something major happened to her so dont blame us Neil she said lifting her hands up.

Neela: exactly though it hurt us seeing you in that state but we knew it was just only for sometime only as you will be happy after that.

Avni : i agreed on this as this is what you get for leaving me like this she said pulling his cheeks.

Neil chuckled slowly.

Neil: So when did you sign the divorce paper then?  After coming back from the condo?

Precrap: Mrs Avni Neil Khanna, will you marry me, again? This time doing the rituals whole heartedly. He said getting on his knees.
