Neil chuckled

Neil: nothing happened as avni was fast asleep so when I confessed there was nobody to hear me except myself he said

Vidyut: so now what? You wont open up your feelings towards her?

Neil: I will... I had planned to tell her in the morning she Wakes up but then I got dd call...but I do plan to tell her later on today when I got the orphanage to pick her up.

Vidyut: wont sahil be there?

Neil: sahil is not any of my concern vidyut..what matters to me is avni bas once I finish over here I'll go to the orphanage straight away he said

Suddenly dd came to their cabin

Dd: sir raghu is ready to confess  he said making neil and vidyut stand up and head toways the area where the criminal was kept

Vidyut: looks like its confession day for everyone today he said earning a chuckle from neil who smacked him on the arm playfully

Meanwhile at the orphanage avni was spending time with the kids helping them draw when sahil came up to her

Avni: sahil y are you hell bent on doing this scene I mean what does this act have to do with anything that you are pestering me for the last 1 hour she asked as ever since she reached to the the orphanage sahil wants her to do a an act

Sahil: it does you will realise once you read the whole thing instead of reading the first line

Avni: but y...avni couldnt complete her sentence as sahil interrupted

Sahil: please avni for my sake please he said

Avni: even if we do this act who are we even showing it too kids will be going out in a bit

Sahil: haan toh let them and I just wanted to do this act just like that..you cant even do that much for me

Avni: such a dramatic person you are...fine we will but only this time ok

Sahil: see this is y you are my bestfriend he said making avni slap his hand away

Avni: ok now let me concentrate... once the kids leave we will work on this so called act of yours

Sahil: if you had read the whole act you would have known he said making avni roll her eyes

Avni: whatever she said and got back to drawing

Sahil laughed and got up from there and dialled a number

Sahil: hi it's me sahil do let me know when neil leaves from there....ok...thanks he said and cut the call with a smirk on his face

After an hour avni and sahil were eating their lunch a little late as they were getting the kids ready for a small outing when suddenly sahil recieved a text that neil has left

Sahil: avni come on let's practice... he said handing her the paper

Avni: but at least finish your food

Sahil : I'm done

Avni: that quickly

Sahil: yup? ...now come on you can eat after

Avni: but y are you rushing?

Sahil: you will know soon for now let's practice he said closing the containers and took avni spoon and placed it down

He then gave her the script and made her read it

40 mins later

Neil reached to the orphanage...sahil who had seen neil smirked and went towards avni

Neill: in a bit I will finally will be able to tell you my feelings avni...and I'm excited to see your response

Neil picked up the bouquet of Roses that he got for avni and got out of his jeep

Neil smiled as he walked with the bouquet of Roses in his hand to give avni

He was nervous yet excited as he was going to tell her his feelings

As his steps reached towards the orphanage door he halted seen the scene in front of him

Sahil: I know all you wanted was love which you never got but I always loved you...I may not be able to take your pain away but I will try my best to make it better...I wanted to tell u this for a long time but I couldnt...u know what it feels like when love is one sided right...u know the pain so y cant I get one chance ? Y ?... u said this relation is like u have been forced into it right then try to get out of it once and allow me to help u heal with time. I promise I wont hurt you like he did...please give me a chance please   Sahil said  as he was on his knees  in front of avni .

Neil felt anger overcoming him he was about to take a step forward when he saw avni kneeling down and hugged sahil

Avni:I'm tired of this relation, all this pretence in front of everyone...I never knew you love me that much and I'm sorry for making u feel that way as i can very well understand the pain...but u made me realise that there is no point of staying in a relation like this...I love him but I know we can never be one... I dont know if I will ever love u becuase I still love him and u know that ... but all I know is that I'm tired and I know u wont hurt me like he did

Sahil: u dont know how happy I am how relief I feel hearing u say this...thank you for giving me a chance thank you so much....I promise I will do everything to make it work and will never disappoint you he Said hugging her tightly

Neil felt a pain in his chest hearing avni say this...he saw how avni hugged sahil...the bouquet of Roses slowly slipped out of his hands falling onto the floor

Neil watched as how avni hugged sahil back...he stayed like that for few seconds before slowly moving backwards as his eyes stayed on both

Reaching towards his jeep he leaned against it recalling what he heard inside

Neil: is it too late?...did I take too long he asked in a cracked tone but all he got was silence as nobody answered his question

Taking a deep breath neil got in his jeep and headed home

After sometime he reached to the khanna mansion and without saying a word went to his room and sat on the bed

Neil: y...y did I realise my feelings so late...y did I take time to tell avni my feelings...y...y neil Khanna y...can there still be a chance? Can I convince avni that I really love her?...only one person can answer my question and that is avni  he said to himself as he looked at avni picture that was on the wall

Neil decided to freshen up

He got up and walked towards the wardrobe and was about to open his side of cupboard when he noticed a paper sticking out from avni side...
Opening the door the paper fell on the floor upside down and as he picked it up he was about to place it properly back into her  wardrobe when he noticed a word written on the paper "divorce'...Neil went still when he also noticed avni had signed on it

A long tear rolled down his cheeks...his heart felt heavy...avni had taken a decision already...

Neil: how can I let you go chatterbox...my life is incomplete without you...nothing feels the same when you are not here...when he had left college it felt so odd and then when you left the country itself... it felt like everything was different and nothing felt the same...a part of me had gone with you....and when you came back I felt as if I was able to breath Again...I was confused to what I was feeling for you and then I realised myself that love is what I feel for you...not what I had felt for mithali ...how will I stay without you?  he said as he looked at the divorce paper as he sat against the wardrobe

Neil closed his eyes as he recalled his time with avni from the past till now ..and for how his happiness she left him so that he relation with mithali  doesnt get spoiled....how she sacrificed her love for him so that he can be happy with the person who he thought he loved...

Neil: I got my answer chatterbox...when you can sacrifice your happiness and love for me in the past...then I can do that for you too...to hell with sahil challenge...I want you to stay willingly with me avni and if sahil is the person you choose then be it...no matter how much me and sahil dont get along...your love was unconditional and so will mine be...neil will still love his avni unconditionally and live with the memories he made with her be it old or new...he said smiling painfully as he looked at their picture...his eyes all welled up
