Sahil :see neil, i won.. kaha tha na meri ladyluck mere sath hai..( I told u na that I have my lady luck with me)

Neil just stared at sahil and said

Neil:congrats sahil

Avni:guys stop now..come neil let's go to infirmary

Neil nodded as both got up

At the infirmary avni was doing Neil's bandage

Avni: it is  hurting alot na she said  while making sire his bandage is done properly

Neil : dard na ho islie mujhe hi dhyan rakhna hga.. age se koi dard nhi hoga(to make sure there is no pain I have to look after myself.. after that there wont be any pain ) nk dialogue

Neil looked at avni arm and saw few bruises there ..he stopped her taking the bandage and placed it down while he applied dettol on her wound

Avni:ouch she said as she felt it sting ...Neil shook his head

Neil: even u r injured too... u look after everyone but u cant look after yourself properly na

Avni looked at Neil seen the way he was taking care of her..it melted her heart but then she shrugged her feelings away..

Avni:relax avni relax he is doing it in a friendly way that's it nothing else ..  dont think much just dont think much she said in her mind ignoring her feelings

Ali:guys he said walking in making avneil look up

Ali saw the bandages on Neil while he sas  the cotton wool which neil had placed on avni wound

Ali: if both your injury is bad then we can go to the doc or call them over

Neil:its ok Ali we have first aid it's not really bad

Avni:r the others still at the bb court

Ali:arien see I came for that only..everyone is going home to freshen up thanks to the bb match and also because of the hot weather..shweta aunty and all have left too so u both leave too

Neil nodded while Ali left.

Avni:shall we go too ?

Neil: wait let me put this bandage on u he said glancing at her and then concentrated on her wound.

Both walked to the car slowly...avni saw Neil about to sit on the driver seat

Avni:neil wait

Neil:what happened ? He asked frowning slightly

Avni: let me drive u should give your leg some rest

Neil:its ok dw I'm useto it beside I wont be putting any pressure on my leg

Avni:u might be use to it and I know u wont be putting pressure on your leg but feet but it's not a crime to give your leg a rest just pull the seat back and relax she said

Neil:avni

Avni: neil please she said interfering

Neil:and your arm ?

Avni:its only few bruises Neil she said smiling

Neil shook his head and walked to the passenger seat  avni waited for him to pull his seat back...once he was done she smiled at him when he turned to look at her and started the car driving away

After a while
Avni turned to look at Neil who had his head against the head rest with eyes closed ..she smiled thinking he must be asleep unaware that he just had his eyes closed but all he was thinking about was her

the car stopped after 20 mins and neil opened his eyes  looking at avni

Avni: chalo we r home finally

Neil:home finally he whispered while looking at avni with a sad smile.

Prakash:Shweta ji avni and neil r here 

Shweta:chalo shukar hai now come on go and freshen up.. its past lunch time .

Avni:lets go Neil

Neil:u walk first it will take me a while to walk up he said due to his leg injury.

Avni:neil ek kaam karo take a shower in the bathroom downstairs

Bebe:good idea..i will tell  the maid up to get your clothes

Neil nodded while avni went up to freshen up but made sure to give Neil clothes to the maid who had come up

Neil was under the shower( behsharmo imagine mat karna aisa waisa)  ... for the  past 5 mins...thinking about avni and sahil during the bb match and the way they would behave around each other...he closed his eyes letting a long tear roll down his cheeks.

Neil: stop neil ..just stop the more u think about it the more u will be tangled in it he said trying to control his heart which was paining

15 mins later avni came down seen Neil and the rest seated at the dining table waiting for her to come down.

Avni sat opposite to Neil and noticed he seemed a little of but before she could think much about it shweta spoke

Shweta:u both r so careless.. look at how u hoth have injured your self...on top of that your bandage is soaked after lunch I will personally change it

Avni:shwetsi dont worry it's only small wound...neil smiled seen the way avni called shweta shwetsi

Shweta:vhup kar.. a wound is a wound.

Bebe:madam madonna is right and u both were  so into the game that u injured your self like this..but nahi both never think na...like it's good the wound wasnt deep.. I agree that u can hurt yourself while playing but not like this...u both seem to forget that she said glaring at both of them...avneil looked at each other but they didnt dare to say anything to shweta or bebe as they knew they wont be able to win in this argument

Later on shweta had did bandage on Neil and avni while still scolding them now and then.

Neil had gone into the study room as the commissioner did a conference call with him and vidyut which lasted for 4 hours

After dinner...avni had come out after changing and Neil went into the washroom to change

Few mins later

Shweta came with haldi milk for both avneil

Avni:maa what is this she said closing her wardrobe

At that time Neil came out to see Neil with two glass of milk

Neil:mom what is this ?

shweta:arien wah have both of u planned to ask me the same thing

Avneil looked at each other and then at shweta

Shweta: its haldi wala milk ...drink it she said placing the tray of milk on the table

Avni:haldi wala milk she said making a face

Neil:mom it's ok we dont need it in fact I dont need it I'm fine but maybe avni should drink it he said wanting to avoid the milk

Avni glared at Neil

Avni:shwetsi Neil is injured more than me u should make him have the milk u r meri cute si shwetsi so u wont force me right

Neil looked at avni and instantly "mera sahil"echoed in his ears

Shweta:well u both r inurded so u both r drinking it and that's final she said handing over the glass..neil here take it..avni u as well

neil took it in a trance and drank it slowly while the bb scene flashed in his mind with what avni said and the way sahil was swirling avni

Shweta looked at avni who was making a face while drinking the milk and she looked at Neil when she was surprised to see the empty glass of Neil still placed near his lips

Shweta:what happened to him ?  Is the haldi milk tasty this time that Neil cant move the empty glass from his mouth on top of that he finished it so quickly

Avni who heard shweta speak frowned and looked at her and then at Neil ..she looked at neil to see that he seemed lost somewhere

Avni:neil..neil she said shaking his arm

Neil came back to present and frowned looking at the glass near his lips not realising when he had drank it

Shweta:neil u want me to get u more

Neil:what? No way he said handing the glass to shweta and sat down opening a case file while avni and shweta giggled

Avni was about to place her glass on the tray when shweta stopped her telling her to finish it of avni drank it making a face while Neil tried to concentrate on the case file

It had been 10 mins but Neil wasnt able to concentrate no matter how much he tried to ignore it but avni and sahil scene kept flashing in his mind especially the way avni said mera sahil

Avni:neil sleep on the bed today she said adjusting the bed sheets..she frowned when Neil didnt respond

Avni:neil... u listening na she said looking at him to see him lost somewhere

Neil in his mind :mera sahil ..what did avni actually mean by mera sahil? Y did she even say that ?

Avni was a little irritated as Neil was not answering her for so long..she walked over to him and looked at the file in bis hand and then at him to see him looking into space ...she tapped neil on shoulder a little hard making him come back to reality and look at her

Avni was able to tell how his mood wasnt good as he seemed a little of but then she thought it might be due to the injury and case file

Neil:what happened he said looking back at the case file

Avni took the case file of him and placed it on the table

Avni:its best if u sleep on the bed because of your injury as if u sleep on the couch u wont be comfortable

Neil:its ok I can rest my leg against the table u sleep on the bed

Avni: r u mad?... neil look please dont argue u really wont be comfortable so just sleep on the bed

Neil: I will be comfortable yaar dont worry about me

Avni:, I swear if u dont listen to me i will call ma

Neil looked annoyed here these thoughts were not leaving his head and avni telling him to sleep on the bed wasnt doing any good to him despite knowing she was right

Neil:ok fine I will sleep on the bed he  said getting up and walked over to the bed while avni followed him...Neil turned to see avni pick a pillow up

Neil: what r u doing ?

Avni: woh..I'm sleeping on the Couch so that u r comfortable

Neil:avni..just like how I'm injured even u r.. so please sleep on the bed

Avni looked at Neil to see Neil sada hua face

Avni:ok she said no wanting to argue

She placed the pillow down  and slept on her side of the bed while Neil was on the other side with a big gap in the middle

It had been 2 hours and sleep was far from Neil as all he was doing was staring at avni who was in a deep sleep... he tried to sleep but all he could get was a smiling face of her saying 'mera sahil'and the way sahil had swirled her in his arms

Neil felt a lump in his throat as he looked at avni sleeping peacefully... he just didnt understand y her 'mera sahil' was bothering him so much

He sat up leaning his back on the head board  and continued to look at avni...somewhere the feeling of seen avni like that with sahil was hurting him

Neil in his head:its her choice to call sahil whatever she wants ...behave the way she wants but y am I feeling so bad.. y is it hurting me as if...as if she and sahil....no no how can she and sahil be together they r friends... yh they r friends...but then what if she does have feelings for him ?

He started to get flashes of how avni ran to hug sahil when she first saw him in india and the way he twirled her...

The way sahil and and avni were talking in the bedroom and the way avni was smiling

When sahil and avni were always seen together sometimes sitting very close be it looking at something on the phone

The way avni called sahil her life saver when she useto call him this before

How sahil called avni his lucky charm

Then when she called him mera sahil and and the way she was chanting his name

While thinking of this he looked away from avni

Neil: if avni feels for sahil then she will go away with him...y would she stay here...one day she will leave to be sahil but then how would life without avni be ?...maybe  it  will be same like the way it was when she left college..it would be the normal routine yes it's that simple he thought to himself

He started to get images of how avni had tried to say sorry to him when she had come back to india

the efforts she would make to melt his heart

Their arguments where she decided not to intefer in his life

Their marriage

How she took care of him when he was ill

Him realising how much he had missed avni

Their reunion where they shared their emotions pouring it out

All those good times came flashing in front of his eyes

Suddenly he saw avni forwarding  her hand while he stood there smiling and lifted his bands but stopped when he saw a hand come on top of hers but the hand wasnt his but sahil who was smiling looking at avni...and then he heard avni say "mera sahil" while looking at him ...and then avni walking away with sahil where Neil extended his hands to reach to avni but she went away leaving him with darkness surrounding and suddenly grabbed avni hand

Neil leaned forward  with his forehead sweating.. he turned to look at avni still sleeping and looked at his hand clutching hers when he had held when he felt darkness around him

Even though it was a dream he couldnt bare the thought of avni been taken away from him..there was something there in him that was stopping him from letting avni go

Neil realised that he had lost avni once but he cant afford to lose her again and that fear was actually there in him...he looked at his hand which was holding hers and then looked at avni to see a smile on her face

Neil (in his mind) last time I couldnt stop u from going away from me... first be it leaving from college and then India... and now u have come back in my life...making me alive again and I cant  bare my life without u...no I will not let her go away from me again not again....I want u to be here with me avni...right next to me... he laid down next to her not moving his hands away from hers
