Neil pouted and looked at Avni again.. The moon light fell over her face and highlighted her rosy cheeks and her procelain skin..She looked so beautiful and innocent while sleeping.. Neil was mesmerised.. His mind again drifted to those sinful thoughts.. Oh! How he wanted to touch those cheeks.. slowly and carefully he shifted closer to her face.. He looked at her intently and kissed her right cheek softly.. He let his lips lingered over there for some seconds.. Her skin felt so smooth..

Avni squirmed over his touch so he hastily removed his lips from her cheeks.. He smiled inwardly thinking that Avni would never know about this lil innocent kartut(deed) of his.. surely he is not a pervert who takes advantage of a sleeping woman.. He would never do that.. But he was so confused and panicked about this emotional and hormonal changes in him, whenever Avni was around him that he could not control himself.

So he did what his heart wanted to do at the moment.. He stole an innocent kiss from her and he did not feel guilty at all.. Infact he blushed and smiled sheepishly thinking how Avni turned Neil, an Acp into a hopeless hormonal thief.. But he was not complaining at all.. He secretly liked it.. with that adoring smile on his face he finally drifted to sleep..

The next day...

During the sunrise avni opened her eyes slowly and scrutinized closely trying to figure out where she was when she realised she was in her own room...

she yawned slightly and was about to sit up when she felt something on her hand or let's say more likely someones hand on her...she turned her face sideways to see neil was holding on to her hand as he was resting on the floor, leaning his back against the small table with head slightly tilt towards the bed side... her gaze moved back to where their other hand was intertwined...her eyes widend slowly realising her hand was near her chest but what made her nervous and gulp was when she noticed neil hand was near her breast while hers was on top of his...

Avni was shocked she didnt know what to do as she didnt want Neil to see them in that position..she slowly made sure to remove Neil's hand away from her chest without any difficulty...she then tried to release her other hand from Neil....

Neil who was sleeping peacefully frowned when he felt his sleep been disturbed by someone removing something soft from his hand ...as he felt it slip away he woke up with a jerk tightening his grip on avni hand and pulled her close with their face a little near each other with their eyes locked into each other.

Few secs later they moved their hands away immediately

Avni:I'm sorry she said sitting up

Neil:its ok he said smiling slightly

Avni:did I have a dream last night?

Neil:no u was mumbiling something so I was here ..but  it's ok its totally fine

Avni:I see...Umm I'll go and freshen up she said and got up from the bed and walked to the washroom quickly and closed the door...

She took  few steps standing near the wash basin and recalled their hand position she recalled how one of her hands were interiwned with his while how their other hand was on her chest with her hand on top of his..for some reason it made her heart beat..she then recalled how he jerked and the way they came close. She looked down and closed her eyes shrugging away her feelings

Neil got up and walked  near the window and smiles sheepishly while leaning against it as he  recalled  what he did last night and smiled even more... after a while Neil smile lessen as he thought how he was smiling...

Neil:..neil.. dude control yaar why r u getting so happy for..y r u even doing this...what has gotten into u (dare anyone say anything about my Neil) ...if u behave like this everyone will think u have gone mad.. control man control 

As avni had come out of the washroom she saw Neil was busy on the call...she went near the dressing table and sorted out her hair and all.

She gestured Neil that she is going down who nodded and got Busy discussing something with the commissioner.

Avni hugged ketan and Aladdin and then went to the kitchen...while the hall was been sorted our by few servants as they were moving the love seat and the projector away

Avni had gone to the kitchen  and saw neela and hetal making hers and Neil fav breakfast ..

Avni:pohaaa and aloo ke parathe she said looking at it lovingly

Neela:bacha.. dw u will get loads she said chukiling seen the way avni was staring at the breakfast.

20 mins later the rest came down

Avni had sat down next to Aladdin talking to him about something

Neil who was coming down along with vidyut saw avni with Aladdin and smiled...they  walked towards the dining table while he was telling vidyut about what the commissioner said..

He came and took a seat next to avni while vidyut sat opposite Neil.

The rest came down to while all greeted each other.

Sahil had sat down next to Ali seen how Neil and avni were sitting together he tried to look away but his gaze kept going back to them

Avni had placed some poha in hers and Aladdin plate ..he smiled seen how avni didnt Give poha to Neil

Dayawanti:Neil u dont want any poha

Before Neil can answer avni answered

Avni:come on dadi when there is aloo ka paratha he wouldnt even have the world best dish she said placing two paratha on his plate while sahil saw that and raised his eyebrows and then tried to look at his plate.

Neil:well yh poha is nice but paratha is the best

Avni:whatever i love my poha she said stuffing some in his mouth

Neil:and I love my paratha he said putting a piece of paratha in her mouth

For sahil seen them like this was weird but for the rest it was normal as avneil had always done this in childhood

Sahil placed a spoon of poha in his mouth and recalled how avni had placed a spoon of poha in Neil mouth while Neil fed her a piece of paratha

Avni was about to pick up the jug of juice when she felt Neil hand on to the handle too..both looked at each other as they didnt realise the other person about to hold the jug

Sahil was chewing and looked up and coughed a little making avneil come back to reality

Ali:dude u ok? He said patting sahil back while giving him a glass of water 

Dayawanti :beta aram se

Aladdin:haan dw nobody will take your food away from u he said making all laugh

After breakfast vidyut juhi left to go to the Pandit mansion while Ali went to his place and avneil went back to the Khanna mansion...before leaving avni had told sahil she will meet him at the orphanage while he nodded and Neil looked at sahil and soon left with avni

In the car Neil turned on the music while avni looked out the window.

Neil:avni

Avni:hmmm

Neil: when will u be leaving to go to the orphange

Avni:I guess after a while.. it's too hot so would want to change first and then I'll leave

Neil:ok he said nodding

Avni:but y u asking?

Neil:woh I thought if u wanted I'll drop u of

Avni : arien no worries u dont worry as I havent really decided what time to leave she said smiling

Neil nodded and concentrated on the road...

Soon they had reached to the Khanna mansion

As they entered shweta greeted them

Neil:mom where is bebe

Shweta:she has gone mandir tillu

Neil:ok I'm going to leave now as I need to go and meet the commissioner.

Shweta:ok tillu bye shye

Avni:bye she said smiling and walked up the stairs while Neil smiled and left

10 mins later Avni had changed into something comfortable as  she couldnt stand heat and collected her ice water bottle after going down (bilkul meri tarah hai ye ladki haina suku)

She decided to call sahil

Sahil:arien wah couldnt stay without talking to me

Avni:, I had no choice but to call u otherwise I have much better things to do she said teasingly

Sahil:acha

Avni:yup...anyways I called to tell u that I'm leaving now to reach to the orphange ..have u left ?

Sahil:no not yet I'll leave in a bit ok

Avni:okies see u soon bye

Sahil:bye he said and looked at avni name on his phone with a smile

Avni had reached to the orphange in 30 mins and started To interact with the kids and staff...20 mins later sahil had arrived and he was introduced to the staff properly too and both him and avni decided to check all the kids information carefully and sort out the folders  in age wise

2 hour later Neil had reached to his cabin  while dd and vidyut had gone to investigate  a case

It had been 30 mins since he had come back from the commissioner office and was in his cabin

He had loads of files to work on but it was like his mind was on a break as all it wanted to do was follow its heart which was just thinking about avni

However he was going through diff emotions one min he was happy when he would think about all those moments he spent with avni especially last night but then he would get irritated seen avni and sahil talking

He picked up his phone and went on to his contact list pressing on to avni name...he was thinking If he should call her or not as he didnt want her to think he is behaving odd.. after few secs he pressed the call button  and waited till it was answered ... as avni Answered he didnt know what to say as he only wanted to hear her voice

Avni:hello?

Neil (in his mind) : say something Neil.. u was so eager to hear her voice na now speak .

Avni:Neil r u there she said looking at sahil who looked at her on the mention of Neil

Neil: uh yh I had called to um...woh I had called for

Avni:Neil what r u saying ..mr u ok?

Neil eyes landed on his file

Neil:yes I'm ok I had actually called to ask do u recall where I had kept that green file in the bedroom

Avni: what green file

Neil:woh..woh haan remember I had it with me two days ago and I told u to place it on my desk

Avni:that file was kept on your desk didnt u see it ?

Neil:I dont remember I mean i sent dd to the Khanna mansion to get it and told him it will be in the room so just wanted to confirm

Avni:oh ok..well yh it is kept on your desk on top of the other files.

Neil:ok thank u

Avni:no worries bye

Neil:avnii

Avni : yh she said placing the phone back near her ear

Neil:have u reached to the orphange

Avni:yh I have...just sorting out some folders here she said

Neil: alright.. I'll let u work then bye

Avni:bye

As both ended the call Neil took a deep breath placing his phone on the table

Neil:gosh...if I didnt get this file idea God knows what other excuse I would have given... I just dont understand..y is this happening to me, y am I been childish?what will avni think about me ?.. yet despite feeling like this it still feel good

Later on Neil was leaving from work and was near by the orphange where avni and sahil were as he knew sahil would be near avni now and then

He parked the car and went in when he saw avni and sahil discussing something while looking at a paper

Neil:heyyy

Avni:hey neil

Sahil:hi he said looking at Neil and then at avni

Avni: Neil what r u doing over here

Neil: I was going by so thought to see how things r going and also have some  work so can u please come

Avni: ok..sahil y dont u come too

Before sahil could reply neil spoke

Neil:no sahil u go home we have an important work and it will take a while he said as he wanted to spend time with avni to think about his growing feelings about her and also so that sahil  stays away from avni.

Avni: but

Sahil:its ok avni u go besides I'm tried so dw 

Avni:, ok then see ya

Sahil:bye he said looking at avni and then lastly at Neil

Avni went to collect her bag while sahil went in to place the folder

After that Avni and neil sat in the jeep and soon left from the orphanage

5 mins later

Avni:Neil where r we going

Neil:somewhere?

Avni:, where is this somewhere  and what important work were u taking about

Neil:that u will know in a bit chatterbox

Avni:y cant u tell me now

Neil: because its important.

Avni:, u r annoying

Neil:Same goes for u too

Avni rolled her eyes and looked out the window while Neil smiled

15 mins later Neil stops the car outside an ice cream place and gets out of the car while avni is confused and follows him As they stand near the ice cream stall

Avni:Neil u said u  have some important work right

Neil : chatterbox u Remember we use to eat loads of ice cream.. how u would try and take mine when yours finished

Avni:haan i do she said smiling slowly recalling those old moments

Neil: we use to eat loads of ice cream and I felt like having Ice cream today.. and remember we always said having ice cream is important while everyone would say we r crazy he said smiling

Avni: I know we were so weird na

Neil:yup...

As they waited for their turn to buy ice cream avni turned to Neil

Avni:but we could have bought sahil too..he loves ice cream too she said with a cute pout

While Neil melted by seen avni pout he couldnt stop him self from saying something about sahil in his mind

Neil (in his mind) haan haan sahil ko tumhara saath before that I should murder him... dont remember that guy too much otherwise he will die due to too much hiccups

Neil:arien chatterbox sahil stays at the metha mansion so he can have loads of ice cream...as there r too many ice cream lovers in that house now chalo forget this and let's have ice cream na he said changing the topic

Avni:ok baba chalo..they said moving ahead

Neil:two dairy milk ice cream please

After a while they r sitting  down on a bench near by while Neil was telling avni a funny incident that happened with dd

Neil:then when we got to that place to investigate..there was a worker..those type who r into guys and dd who was busy investigating bumped into him.. as the worker was about to fall dd saved him...for a sec it felt like dd was the hero and the worker heroine

Avni:phir she said enjoying the story

Neil:phir kya dd helped the worker stand properly and was ablut to move away when the worker held dd hand and dd was all confused... what cracked up us more was when the worker thanked dd for saving him and kissed dd on both the checks while it took dd few mins to realise what happened

Avni:, omg..bechara..bechara dd she said able to imagine the scene and laughed more she said giving Neil a hi five

Neil :I know vidyut even took a video or pic... if he has it I'll tell him to show it to u

Avni:done I'll remember that ...acha now let's go home now

Neil : no let stay out for a little please

Avni:but everyone will be waiting for us

Neil:just for a little while please

Avni:, ok fine...how about a walk on the beach she said

Neil:chalo.. both got up while avni had taken of her sandals

They walked it to the beach which was 5 mins away

As they were walking silently they were able to hear the shore sound

Avni was a little head while Neil was walking a bit behind with hand in his pocket .. watching her with a smile on his face

Avni loved going to beaches at this time as the view is always beautiful no matter what time it is..she placed her sandals a little far which Neil picked up and held it in his hand

She slowly started to run and jump few times into the shore making Neil happy ...he slowly took out his phone and captured that moment of hers..

As avni was enjoying on the beach be it playing in the shore or kicking the sand  wheras neil would be watching her ..it soon got disturbed when avnis  phone rang

Avni took out her phone from her side handbag and answered it while Neil wondered who it was

Avni:hey sahil bolo

avni was listening to sahil telling her a good news that one of the kid in London got adopted from their orphanage

Neil (in his mind): this sahil has to disturb us here too by calling.. not even a single min peace that I can enjoy some time with avni

Avni: that's really good yaar I mean I'm happy that kush got adopted he always wanted a family and now he got one 

As avni said that neii stopped thinking it's something important.

Avni:acha what r u doing right now she asked 

Sahil:nothing just reached home going to have dinner with the family.. has Neil work finished since he  said its important

Avni: important..actually..

before she before complete Neil took her phone and cut the call

Avni:Neil y did u do that

Neil:yaar come on chatterbox we r enjoying on the beach and having fun.. u can call him when we reach home for now no phone call

Avni: Neil tum bhi na.she said smiling at him

Suddenly sahil called again both looked at each other before avni could say anything Neil switched off her phone

Avni:acha atleast let me keep my phone in my bag she said...Neil gave it to her while she placed it in her handbag

Neil: avni ek race ho jayien

Avni:ready..and good luck to u because I'll win this race

Neil:acha itna confidence he said ..

Avni: yup

Neil:let's see who wins then

Avni:chalo phir

Neil took of his shoes and socks placing avni sandals besides his and that's when avni noticed Neil had been holding her sandals

Neil:ready

Avni:I'm always ready u should know that by now

Neil:that we will see. .

They got ready taking their position

Neil:3, 2, 1...pyjamas he said...avni was about to run when Neil said pyjamas and stopped looking at Neil  with her hand on her hips

Avni: Neillll

Neil:ok ok... 3, 2, 1 go he said and both started to run

Avni was a little ahead of Neil but soon enough he caught up with her and started to increase his pace while avni was not any less

But Neil won while avni looked at him trying to catch up with her breath

Neil:not bad yaar u wasnt far from me

Avni:that's because I allowed u to win otherwise been a police officer and losing a race would have been so bad.

Neil:acha he said smiling at her excuses

Avni:ofcourse now chalo let's go home she said

Neil:let's take our stuff  and all he said while avni nodded and both headed back to collect their shoes.
