Neil:horror movies he asked surprisingly 

Vidyut:haan.. horror movie with our partner sitting beside us how lovely na

Ali:Haha I still remember  avni would get scared and use Neil as a shield to hide herself .

Neil looked at Ali and smiled remembering  those old days

Flashback

Neil, Ali ,riya and avni were young....after their skl exams they had holiday and decided to spend the night watching movies at the Khanna mansion

Avni wanted action movie...riya wanted to watch romantic ...Ali and Neil were up for horror

The boys won as their horror chit came out..while riya didnt mind horror but avni was scared of it like hell..

Avno:u know what u guys can watch I'll sit with bebe

Neil:oye chatterbox u r not going anywhere ...u r sitting over here and that's final

Avni:but I don't want to watch horror movie na

Neil:well u have to as we all r now.. stay ok he said warning her while avni made a face and sat down with arms crossed 

The movie had started whule all ate pop corn and drank soft drinks

Avni was eating pop corn slowly while making weird faces...when a little scary scene popped up she jumped and was about to drop the popcorn but got hold of it.. she looked at aliya and Neil to see them engrossed in the movie..as avni looked into the move she was hell scared as a scare face popped out of nowhere in the movie  scaring her for a sec

Avni:mumma she screamed and clutched Neil's hand...

she tried to breath normally trying to convince herself it's only a movie when a scary scene popped up making her hide her face in his side abs while Neil looked at her shaking his head and patted her hack getting back to watching the movie again while avni stayed like that

End of flashback

Ali:oye where were u lost

Neil:nothing yaar was remembering our movies night during skl days

Ali:they were epic man. He said smiling

Neil smiled and nodded when he saw sahil come down the stairs with blankets

Neil(in his mind) :how can I forget he will be here too

Sahil:hey neil

Neil:hey he said faking a smile

Sahil:Ali these r the blankets neela aunty gave me

Ali:they will do Thanks sahil

Sahil: no worries

Neil:umm I'll call mum telling her that we reached

Vidyut:ya otherwise aunty will be calling non stop

Neil:exactly

Neil gave a look to sahil who was talking to Ali and left

Meanwhile the girls had come out with all of the  food and drinks arrangements.

Avni:love seats? I didnt even see them while coming in She said seen the seats

Riya:haan it will be so romantic na while watching horror movie

Avni rolled her and sat down when she just released what riya said

Avni: did u just say horror movies with her eyes wide

Riya:yup....avni closed her eyes and took a deep breath..while the rest cracked up slightly

Juhi:avni is still scared of horror movies

Avni:I...i am but I can handle it I mean I'm not scared like before u see

Sahil:really he said teasingly while avni glared ..all sat down while vidyut and aman were making the boys special drink..sahil saw avni sit alone and went and sat  next to avni while she was checking something on her phone

After few mins Neil came in when he saw sahil sitting next to avni and that did it ...jealousy came back making him clutch his phone tightly

Neil:this sahil ....cant he sit anywhere else..always wants to be next to avni.. like Give her a break dude... only I can sit next to her as we have always sat together while watching movies  and I'll make sure I sit next to her..come on Neil do something so that u sit next to avni and not that sahil..think Neil think ...few sec later  he got an idea and smirked.

Neil:only this much drinks and snacks  he said moving towards the rest while all looked at him

Ali:arien neil dw it's enough for now plus vidyut and aman r making drinks for us guys

Neil:what about the girls

Juhi:we actually we dont want anything fancy Neil

Neil:arien come on yaar we hardly get to spend time like this at least enjoy it

Ali:Neil is right

Neil:see... sahil come let's go and tell vidyut and aman and help them

Sahil:um ya sure lets go he said getting up.

Neil looked at that empty place next to avni and then followed sahil to the kitchen

Vidyut: what happened he asked seen the boys walk in  as he was mixing few drinks together

Neil:we came to help to make mocktails for the girls

Aman: shall I get things ready for mocktail then vidyut bhai

Vidyut:yes Aman search the net and see which one is the common one and make that

Aman:ok

Neil looked at sahil who was reading the recipe that vidyut was looking at while making the drinks

Neil:uh sahil y dont u go and help aman just in case he needs help

Sahil:sure he said smiling while Neil smirked.

Neil:u guys continue I'll just see if Ali has sorted the projector out

Sahil and aman turned to look at Neil while vidyut said a hmm as he was busy making the drink

Neil came out and smiled as he saw avni busy talking to aliya and juhi.

Neil in his head:we have always sat together while watching a movie avni and i wont let sahil take my place.

He walked over to them and sat next to avni casually who was busy talking to aliya and juhi .

Neil then joined their convo startling avni.. as she turned her face she saw he was sitting next to her which shocked her a little as she thought she would either have sahil or aman sitting next to her... she gulped turning towards aliya and juhi trying not to be effected by him sitting next to her  and reminded herself that they sat together when they were young too .

Few mins later vidyut, aman and sahil came... as he passed the drink to the girls he moved to  avni to give her drink  when he noticed his seat had been taken and took his place next to aman 

The lights were turned of making the hall dark..avni took a deep breath taking few sips of her drink and slowly eating popcorn praying that no scary scenes appears so soon

10 mins later avni was getting scared seen small scary incidents happening in the movie...she was about to lift her hand to clutch Neil's hand but stopped as she remembered Neil harsh words and doesnt want him to know that she is feeling scared

Avni(in her mind): no avni u can handle this come on it's only a movie 

As the scary scenes were coming up every few mins  she placed the popcorn container on the side and clutched  her own hands together tightly while gritting her teeth.

Neil casually turned to look at avni and noticed how she was clutching her hands together while her face was clearly showing how she was not liking the scary scene ...he lifted his hand and forwarded it in her direction

Avni freaked out for a sec when she saw a hand appear out of nowhere ....she slowly looked from the direction the hand came from and saw Neil looking at her with his hand forwarded

As she looked at him they had a small eyelock... for a sec they forgot about the movie. Neil blinked his eyes assuring her to hold it while avni wasnt sure but as she heard a scream from the movie she quickly held Neil hand and looked at the screen to see a scary scene while still able  to hear the person screaming in the movie... as the movie continued Neil was able to feel avni pressing his hand so tightly now and then

Anyone else would have thought that Neil hand would be paining if they would have seen the way avni was pressing his hand so tightly but no for Neil it was nothing like that as the feeling was different than before .. her tight grip on his hand didnt pain him hut infact it made him happy that avni was sitting next to him holding his his hand 

Not only that he was also getting some weird type of peace when he saw how she had started hiding her face behind his back when he had leaned forward to pick up his glass... a smile came on his face as he was happy that avni felt protected around him just like old times however during their childhood days he would have taken it casually with her close to him like this but right now it was a beautiful feeling which he wasnt able to describe

As the movie was going on avni was scared as sometime she would peak to look at the screen and then look away.. while Neil attention was not on the movie hut on avni face as a small smile played on her face

Neil was feeling totally different towards her than before... as the light coming from the projector fell on her face he continued to stare at her noticing her cute expression making her look beautiful as her face was literally glowing due to the light which awestruck him

During the other half of the movie avni had her eyes closed for one of the scenes and didnt open it as she could hear the scary noise but slowly she started to feel sleepy and after awhile her eyes gave up making her fall into a peaceful sleep...

Neil looked at her and smiled as he tucked few strand of hair behind her ears. Everyone had blankets next to them...Neil carefully picked up their blanket making sure not to disturb avni and covered avni and him properly

He felt different as it was a beautiful feeling and he actually felt  complete for some reason...  he had a big smile that avni was close to him and was sleeping peacefully next to him...he touched avnis hand which was holding his other hand loosely ... his lips parted slowly with a smile as he felt butterfly in his stomach.

Neil slowly moved her hand away from his and placed his hand around her waist pulling her near him while avni got even more comfortable in her sleep as she placed her hand over his other shoulder and snuggled closer to him burying her face in the crook of his neck ... Neil  lips parted slowly as he felt a shiver run in his spine and took a deep breath  feeling  her breath falling  his neck

Neil (in his head): what is this feeling? Y am I so happy when avni is near me.. I never had felt Like this before especially during the old days when me and avni useto be so close to each other...bur now small gestures like this just seems to make my day.

The room was quite dark and everyone was actually asleep...there was still 10mins of the movie left..Neil was watching the movie with a smile on his face due to  2 reason. 1 was that horror movie was his favourite and 2nd avni was sleeping all snuggled up close to him which was like cherry on the cake

After a while when the movie ended Neil saw avni was still asleep.

He slowly sat up making sure not to disturb her sleep... as he removed the blanket he slowly scooped her in his arms and took her to their room... as he was walking up the stairs he was staring at her face seen how angelic she looks while sleeping... once reaching to the room he   placed her carefully on the bed without turning on the lights.. while avni hair had covered hair face.

Neil slowly removed her hair tucking it behind her ear while looking at her face intently. His gaze was   checking her face feature

He looked at her intently... the only light that was coming in to the room was only the moonlight which was falling on her face and making her face glow not allowing him to move from there as he was lost seen avni  sleeping so cutely with a small smile on her face...
Neil continued to stare at her and was so tempted to touch her skin.. his eyes landed on her lips

Neil (in his mind):I dont know y avni but I want to feel those lips again.. I want to taste them again he thought while looking at her. ..

he touched her forehead with his fingers tracing her face in a trance not realising he was moving his finger over her skin but avni mumbled something with a smile which made him stop and come back to reality

Neil:what r u doing Neil he thought to himself

he was about to move away when Avni gripped his hand tightly turning the other way with his hand under her cheeks...he then felt her rub her cheek on the back of his hand and smile contentedly.. A beautiful smile adored the corner of her lips n she started mumbling something in her sleep again.. Neil couldnt hear what she was saying so he brought his face closer to her n he heard the most beautiful word come out from her lips "Neil!"

His heart skipped a beat hearing his name from her lips.. It was not that that he never heard his name from her before but the way she felt happy n contented mumbling his name made his feel butterflies in his stomach.. She kept mumbling his name in her dreams and he felt unknown emotion inside him.. unknown to him a smile  crept on his lips and all he wanted to keep listening his name from her mouth..

He knew she was dreaming and he did not have the heart to wake the innocence before him... in order to remove his hand from her clutches rather he did not want to remove his hand from her.. The feel of her cheeks on his hand gave him warmth.. He did not know what it was but surely he wanted to feel it again and again.. so he sat on the floor beside the bed, leaning on the small bed side table.. sensing little shifting of his movement avni held his hand more tightly in her grip.. Neil sat beside her bedside and looked at her in awe...

With a dreamy smile on his face he started speaking to himself..

Neil:  I don't know Avni what is happening to me.. jab  bhi mai tumse dur jana chahta hu tumhe aur bhi pass pata hu.. u took possession in my thoughts and left me craving..Mai thik se kaamm nhi krpata police station mein, all I think about is you.. Mujhe laga tha tumhe ignore karunga toh mai bhul jaunga what had happened between us.. But jab bhi ankh bandh krta hu, all I think about how close you were to me and how ur lips felt so soft against mine.. And in that moment all I want to do is to feel those soft lips again and again.. sinful thoughts right?? I know and I can't shrug it from my mind.. You always come and torture me like this in my thoughts.. All I want to do is to go home and see you.. I never feel like this way before for someone.. Itni musibat kam nhi thi ab wo Sahil agaya..
(I don't know Avni what is happening to me...whenever I want to go far from u I find u even more close to me...u took possession in my thoughts and left me craving....I cant even work properly at the police station, all I think about is u...I had thought if i ignore u then I would forget what had happened between us..but whenever I close my eyes all I think about how close you were to me and how ur lips felt so soft against mine.. And in that moment all I want to do is to feel those soft lips again and again.. sinful thoughts right?? I know and I can't shrug it from my mind.. You always come and torture me like this in my thoughts.. All I want to do is to go home and see you.. I never feel like this way before for someone..wasnt all these problems less that now this sahil has come)

He looked at their pictures on the wall which was facing him he smiled and then looked at avni

Neil:Pata hai mujhe wo Sahil bilkul pasand nahi hai.. I do not like how he stares at you.. Mann toh karta hai ankhon mein lal mirch dal du.. Jab dekho tumhare aas pas ghumta rehta hai..😠 Mana ki he is your friend, but aise hamesha tumse fevicol ki trha chipak ne ki kya jarurat hai?? Ghar mein itne sare log hai unse bhi baat krskta hai but nahi..And i do not like how he always hugs you.. Arey tum insan ho koi hug machine thodi na ho ki jo bar bar hug karta rahe.. I know you are innocent but he is not.. Mujhe accha feeling nahi ata usse.. Why cant he keep his hands to himself??
(Do u know i dont like that sahil at all...I  do not like how he stares at you.. I feel like adding red chilli in his eyes...always wondering around near u...I agree that he is your friend but y does he have to stick around u like a superglue?...there r so many people at home who he can talk to but no...And i do not like how he always hugs you...arien u r a human not any hug machine where he keeps on hugging u all the time)...I know you are innocent but he is not.. I dont seem to get good vibes from him...Why cant he keep his hands to himself??)

Neil frowned remembering all about Sahil.. And then he again mumbled to himself,

Neil:aur tum bhi avni.. pata nahi tumhe usme kya accha dikhta hai?? Lamba sa khamba jaisa hi toh hai.. Jabse Sahil aya tum mere taraf dekh bhi nahi reh ho.. Har waqt usko dete ho.. I want to be angry at you for that.. but look at you, sleeping like a child here.. I can't even stay mad at you for long.."
(And even u avni...I dont know what good thing u see in him...he is just like a long pole... since sahil had come u dont even look at me.. u give all your time to him...I want to be angry at you for that.. but look at you, sleeping like a child here.. I can't even stay mad at you for long..")

Then he held her grip tightly and said

Neil: "uss Sahil ka kuch karna padega, i don't want him near you..Tumhe aise hug karne ka haq sirf mera hai.."
(Something has to be done about that sahil..i don't want him near you... only I have the rights to hug u like that.)

Neil realised what he said and frowned

Neil:"Avni ko hug krne ka haq sirf mera hai??? Hein?? Kya hogaya mujhe Avni?? Ye mai kya bol raha hu.. seriously aisa chalta raha toh I will become mad soon..."
(Only I have the rights to hug avni?..hein?.. what has happened to me avni...what am I actually saying...seriously if it continues like this then I will become made soon)

Neil pouted and looked at Avni again.. The moon light fell over her face and highlighted her rosy cheeks and her procelain skin..She looked so beautiful and innocent while sleeping.. Neil was mesmerised.. His mind again drifted to those sinful thoughts.. Oh! How he wanted to touch those cheeks.. slowly and carefully he shifted closer to her face.. He looked at her intently and kissed her right cheek softly.. He let his lips lingered over there for some seconds.. Her skin felt so smooth..

Avni squirmed over his touch so he hastily removed his lips from her cheeks.. He smiled inwardly thinking that Avni would never know about this lil innocent kartut(deed) of his.. surely he is not a pervert who takes advantage of a sleeping woman.. He would never do that.. But he was so confused and panicked about this emotional and hormonal changes in him, whenever Avni was around him that he could not control himself.

So he did what his heart wanted to do at the moment.. He stole an innocent kiss from her and he did not feel guilty at all.. Infact he blushed and smiled sheepishly thinking how Avni turned Neil, an Acp into a hopeless hormonal thief.. But he was not complaining at all.. He secretly liked it.. with that adoring smile on his face he finally drifted to sleep..
