Bebe:shweta call Mrs Mehra and tell her that we won't be able to come

Shweta: ji bebe she said about to unlock her phone when avni took it of her

Shweta: avni what r u doing

Avni: I'm stopping u both from cancelling your plan

Bebe:but y puttar Neil is not well and.. but she couldn't continue as avni spoke

Avni:haan he is ill but that doesn't mean u both cancel your plan.. don't worry about Neil I will take care of him and also his temperature has reduced a bit.

Shweta:par beta

Avni: u don't trust me ?

Shweta:I'll slap u one if u ever say that.. of course we trust u

Avni:then end of u both r going and that's it if u both love me then go. She said crossing her arm

Bebe:ok meri maa we will go but if u need any help don't hesitaste to call us

Avni:i won't she said smiling and gave shweta her phone back

Shweta kissed avni on the cheeks and wants to get ready while she also left while cupping avni face

Avni turned around and looked at sleeping kadhoos khanna.

Avni: chalo time to look after u.. now let's see how much attitude u show in this state she said smiling slightly and started her procedure with wet cloth

Later on avni placed the wet cloth on Neil head and covered him properly with a blanket.. she thought of going down to make some lunch for her and some soup for Neil and headed down to the kitchen

1 hour later Neil slowly opened his eyes and looked around the room.. when he felt something wet on his forehead.. he slowly lifted his hand to touch his forhead and removed the wet cloth looking at it.. he then looked at the clock on the wall and saw it was 1pm..

Neil:how did i sleep so much he said to himself and slowly sat up on the bed as he was still weak

Avni came up when she saw Neil awake and sitting on the bed.. for a sec she felt a lump in her throat seen Neil awake making her a little emotional but then a frown came on her face when she saw that Neil was about get up but fell back on the bed as he really didn't have the energy

Avni: don't even get up.. u need rest she said quickly walking towards him.

Neil looked up holding his head to see avni walking in while making a call...he was wondering as to who she is calling when he heard her speak to the doctor

Avni: hello doctor uncle it's me Avni.. Neil is awake now.... ok .. yh sure I'll see u in a bit.

As soon as avni finished speaking to Neil she was about to turn to him when they heard vidyut voice and both turned to the door to see vidyut

Vidyut: man u never take care of yourself.. this is what happens when u get drenched in rain if u don't wear a rain coat or have an umbrella he said sitting on a chair which was placed beside the bed

Neil: r u here to scold me. He asked his voice sounded a little low due to the fever

Vidyut: nope I know someone else can do that he said glancing at avni who looked away

Neil:I'm sorry.we were meant to question that criminal and here I'm in bed

Vidyut: don't worry u rest. Me and dd will handle it and keep u updated. ..

Neil: thanks man.

Vidyut:anytime chal I'll leave now he said pattting Neil hands and then moved to avni hugging her and left.

Avni: i will get u some soup

Neil: I'll use the washroom first .. want to brush and also wash my face.

Avni nodded Neil tried to get up himself but as soon as he stood up he felt like he will drop with out any support.. suddenly he found avni right close to him holding his hand while her other hand was around his waist

Neil: I'll manage. Don't worry.. Avn Iooked at him and then gestured him to continue walking.. she has the urget to shout at him but was controling herself

She helped him get to the washroom and made Neil stand near the wash basin while he held on to it.. she moved and quickly got the stool that was on the side and then slowly made him sit down

She then got Neil his tooth brush and gave him his paste.

Neil applied the tooth paste on the brush while avni took it.. he started too brush while looking at avni from the corner of her eyes as she was busy getting his towel from the stand

Once he finished brushing he cleaned his mouth and then spat it out he got a up a little bit while taking the support of the wash basin and used his once hand to splash water on his face. By the time he was done avni came with his towel

Avni:come doctor uncle should be here any moment she said holding his hand while her other hand moved behind his back .

Neil: it's ok I can manage... Avni looked a little annoyed

Avni: yh I saw how u was able to manage now come on she said not letting go of him and took him out making him rest on the bed..

As soon as she adjusted the pillow against the headboard the family doctor came to check on Neil

Doctor: how r u feeling Neil beta

Neil: feeling a little ok .

Doctor: well it will take u a while to get better as u will still have weakness.. he said doing neil check up
So make sure u take proper rest and eat on time.. he said looking at avni and Neil

The doctor wrote some medicine down on a prescription and gave it to avni while explaining to her when and how to give it

Doctor: if any thing give me a call.

Avni:come let me drop you downsitars she said the doctor looked at Neil telling him to take care and went down with avni.

Neil rested his head against the headboard and closed his eyes.

5 mins later he opened his eyes when he heard bangles sound and saw avni walking into the room with a tray in her hand.

She sat next to him placing the bowl on her lap

Avni: i got u some soup.. after bebe and shweta ma come I'll go and get your medicine

Neil: thanks he said about to take the bowl but avni stopped him from doing that.

Avni: don't worry I'll feed you she said taking the spoon and lifting it up towards his mouth

Neil:i am able to feed myself ..Avni had the urge to shout at him but she stopped herself from doing that.

Avni: i promised maa and bebe that I'll take care of you properly so please let me do my bit

She made him drink the soup while in between wiped how mouth.. Neil looked at her not knowing his anger is slowly melting.

Once avni Finished she took the bowl and placed it on the tray when bebe and shweta came in.

Avni got up to allow them to sit next to Neil.

Shweta sat on the chair while Bebe sat next to Neil on the bed.

Shweta: how r u feeling better

Neil: ok mom

Bebe: u do have a little bit of fever but it has lessened a lot. She said touching his forehead

Shweta: avni beta did u call doctor saab

Avni:haan he came and checked Neil.. he said Neil will have some weakness so he will have to rest and eat properly

Bebe: suna na u will have to do that she said looking at Neil.

Avni: umm I'll have to go and get these medicine from the chemist she said taking her bag and prescription

Shweta: ok beta

Avni left while bebe and shweta sat with Neil.

Bebe: beta do u know we wouldn't have known u had fever ...it was Avni who came to us around 4am telling us about your condition . Neil looked at bebe in surprise

Shweta:haan and since then till now she has taken care of you and placed wet cloth on your forehead since then.. she didn't even sleep.

Bebe: for her your health is more important the way she looked after u na Neil nobody else would have done that. She said saying the last bit purposely. While Neil was a little thoughtful about what bebe and shweta said thinking how avni took care of him.

He recalled how she helped him in the bathroom and all and then bebe and shweta words played in his head.

Avni came back after an hour and saw bebe was next to Neil while shweta had gone down

She gave Neil few tablets and then gave him a glass of water

She kept a copy of his precisption on the table

Bebe decided to leave the room giving both a smile.

Avni: take some rest if u need anything then just call out she said... Neil nodded slightly while avni left the room... she kept coming to check on Neil now then who was sleeping

Two hours later Neil woke up and looked around to see the room empty... he decided to go to the washroom and slowly got up.. taking small baby steps.. but after few mins he felt as if he will fall due to weakness.... he slowly moved towards the wall and placed his hands on it walking slowly.. but due to not having much energy he was about to drop when avni came running and held him from falling.. both her hand were around his waist holding him tightly... Neil slowly turned to see the concern look on her face... she was actually close to him.. for few mins both had an eye lock.. he noticed her big eyes which had Kajal....even if he wanted he wasn't able to look away from her this time... Avni came back to reality and was waiting for Neil to say something but instead of saying anything he was quiet juat staring at her.

Avni: what were u doing? U know u r weak right. She said brining Neil back from his staring mode

Neil: i actually wanted to go to the bathroom.

Avni:i told u na that if u needed anything u should have called she said trying to be calm

Neil : it's ok I'm fine.. now Avni was annoyed as he was just saying the same thing again and again

Avni: shut up.. fine my foot.. if I didn't reach on time then right now u would have been on the floor. Come let me take u.

Neil:i will... but he stopped speaking as avni glared at him...

Avni: be quiet I swear na if h say I'm fine or I can manage then god knows what I'll do to u

If someone had seen them they wouldn't even think that these two were not on talking terms as the scene is quite different now..

Avni helped him get to the bathroom ..

Avni: call me once u r done I'll be here she said looking at Neil and walked out closing the door

After.few mins Neil spoke

Neil:I'm done..

Avni.opened the door and came in ...she took the towel of Neil and held Neil hand while her other hand went behind his back and took him out of the washroom.
She made him sit on the bed and covered him with the blanket

Neil was looking at avni every few secs. Unaware of the feeling for her..as this was the start..

Avni:maa has made some khichdi for u I'll get that and give u your medicine. So don't get up from here at all. She said then last bit while pointing her finger at him

Neil: i wont he said calmly.. Avni looked at Neil and went back down..

Avni went into the kitchen to get Neil some khichdi and then went back up

Neil looked towards the door to see avni walk in with a bowl and sit next to him.

He looked at her slowly to see how she busy blowing to cool the food down.. she then lifted the spoon to feed him and looked at him while he looked away as if he was doing that all this time.. he opened his mouth while she fed him and then continued to take some more while bowing on it and again Neil looked at her slowly and then looked away when she lifted her head to.feed him.. this continued and once Neil finished avni gave him water and his tablet.

Neil: thank u he said.. she smiled at him slowly surprised the way he said thank u as it sounded genuine to her. She placed the bowl on the table. And went to get equipment for sponge bath/bed bath without saying anything while Neil saw her walking into the washroom

after few mins she came out with two wash basins filled with water.. one had soapy water while the other one was for rinsing

Then she went back to get some bath sponge and towel l soap, shampoo and lastly a water proof cloth to place on the couch

While avni was busy organising everything Neil was watching her every moment with a small smile playing on his face

Avni :Neil come and sit here please. She said after she placed everything on the table... she went to Neil and helped him get up.

Avni: remove your tee shirt please.

Neil: Kya? He said hearing her say that with his eyes widened.

Avni: take of your tee shirt so that I can give u a sponge bath.

Neil:ohh he said looking at her while still not taking it of .

Avni:Neil I know this must be uncomfortable for u but I promise I will try to Finish it of quickly.. doctor uncle told me it's best to give u sponge bath for few days.

Neil nodded and slowly took of his tee shirt.. while avni looked at him seen how fit he was especially those abs of his but she quickly looked away before Neil caught her doing that.

Neil sat on the couch while his legs were stretched on the other half of the table.

Avni first cleaned Neil face first while he had his eyes closed she then used the clear water to clean away the soap and dried it by dabbing the towel on his face.

She then moved to his arms and lifted it while following the same procedure and then moved to his right arm and did the same thing followed by his chest.. however she made sure not to eye his chest too much and concentrate.. busy in her work she didn't notice Neil was staring at her all this time

He looked at how her hair was moving due to the slight wind while her cheeks were a little red... his gaze then moved to her lips which had parted slowly and then how she bit her bottom lips slowly busy with what she was doing... Neil looked down then slowly looked up when she made him sit forward while holding his shoulder to clean his back properly he looked at her from the corner of his eyes to see how close she was and was able to smell her perfume.

Avni then made Neil sit back while he looked away as if he was looking else where.

She then moved near his feet and folded his jogging bottoms to his thighs while Neil watched how her hands were on his feet moving the soapy sponge upwards then down.. she then cleaned his legs and dried them up pulling his bottoms back down.

I need u to lay down but place your head a little out so I can wash your hair.

Neil:ok.. Avni took a chair and then went to the washroom to get an empty wash basin while taking the other wash basin.after few mins she came back with one empty one and the other one filled with clean warm water

She wet his hair first and then took a bit of shampoo In her hand and rubbed it on his hair while Neil was silently enjoying the magic her fingers were doing.. Avni then rinsed it away with water... after doing that she got a towel and started drying Neil hair.

Shweta and bebe came few mins ago and were watching this scene

Bebe:shweta i clearly know one thing now

Shweta: Kya bebe?

Bebe:we don't have to worry about Neil when avni is with him

Shweta: u r right Bebe.. I just hope tillu anger ends and both becomes best friends like before.

Bebe: i feel that time will come soon.... she said seen how Neil was allowing avni to look after him as that's y she made sure to let Neil know how avni looked after him when he was ill

Shweta: let's go.. we will come back later.. bebe nodded and left with shweta.

Once avni dried Neil hair she got up while opened his eyes.

Avni: u can sit up now.

Neil sat straight on the couch and put on his tee shirt... Avni was picking up the items to take back I to the washroom

Neil: um let me help u

Avni: no need u rest I'll do if myself she said walking to the washroom..

Neil: I'm feeling ok

Avni: that's what u think when u r sitting but as soon as u get up and take few steps u will lose balance
.so just stay seated.. she said coming out of the washroom and picked up the remaining items.

Neil didn't say anything as he could see how annoyed avni is with since he was about to fall while walking to the bathroom.. right now he didn't have the strength to argue back or let's say he didn't want to do that right now as his heart was telling him to let her take care of him

Precrap: bebe was talking to Neil while he was smiling at her telling about something

Suddenly his eyes saw the person he hadn't seen for few hours..unaware of his own feelings for her.

Avni walked into the room smiling at bebe and checked how many medicine Neil had left while also taking a note of his progress lictrally writing everything

Neil was nodding while looking at bebe and then lookef at avni watching her do her own work.

Bebe: haina Neil she said noticing now Neil was agreeing to whateever she was saying but his mind was somewhere else busy stealing glances at avni now and then

Neil:hmm bebe he said not knowing bebe just said it like that and looked at avni and then at bebe

Bebe:what happened tillu r u not listening to me what r u looking at now and then she said pretending while neil became conscious and looked at bebe.

Avni also looked up when bebe said that.

Neil: nothing like that Bebe I was listening to u

Bebe:that's fine then she said but from inside she was laughing giving those naughty devil laugh)

Ok ok I know it's been long since I updated this 1
