Hey !!!

A much awaited weekend guyz! I may become late for my next update. They have again showered us with assessments and mini projects! I hope to get release date soon and get posted in Cochin :)... Please all of you pray for that to happen!! 

Meanwhile, this update may disappoint you. It does not contain a fairy tale confession. I'm sorry. I have kept myself in place of Aditi and penned it down... I don't know how many of you will like it.

Zain: I love you...

Aditi looked up to see the most sincere eyes in her life. A tear drop found its way down her eyes. She was still in his warm protective embrace. He examined her as if to read her mind.

Zain: Adi.. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you. Somewhere, both of us got drowned in the moment and I am sorry to... Please don't think anything else.

Aditi: Zain..

Zain: I love you....

Aditi: You deserve someone better. 

Zain: I love you..

Aditi: I am a broken girl. You don't deserve this. You may regret..

Zain snuggled closer, nuzzling into her earlobes.

Zain: I love you.. and I mean it.

Aditi: I am not as good looking as...

Zain(shot his eyes open): Dare you say that again, I am gonna kiss the hell out of you...

Aditi: Zain.. Mujhe..

Just then the lift began to move upwards and halted at 7th floor. The door opened and Zain instantly pulled back. Aditi felt a vacuum building beside her. She didn't want him to leave her. A lift technician stood outside. 

Technician:  Sorry sir. There was some technical issue with the lift all of a sudden. We are really sorry sir. 

Zain: Its okay. Not a big problem. In fact, Thanks bro.

Technician: Thanks?

Zain smiled and pulled Aditi with him to her flat. The technician soon moved away from there completely clueless.  Zain closed the flat door and made her sit on the sofa.

Zain: We need to talk..

Aditi lifted her already wet eyelashes and blinked away her tears. Zain wiped away all of them in one stroke and cupped her face.

Zain: Ro kyu rahi ho yaar?(Why are you crying?) Please don't cry. What's bothering you?

Aditi: Zain.. Wo.. Its not that I don't feel anything for you. I am too scared to admit that. I am scared of being in relationships and falling in love. A part of me wants to trust you, to be with you. You make me happy. But its all possible that all these are happening because we work together. We spend a lot of time together. You have been protecting me all these days. May be its out of..

Zain: Don't give a tag of 'sympathy' to what I feel for you. Please.

Aditi: I need some time. 

Zain: Take all the time in your life. I never forced you. I myself never thought that I would witness this day. But, it just came out of my mouth today. A sheer tongue betrayal..

Aditi: Zain...

Zain: I will wait for that day when you come out of all insecurities and doubts over this. I don't want to rush anything between us. Actually, you are right about spending a lot of time together. Both of us need time to explore our feelings. Both of us need to be sure about all what is happening. One thing I am sure of, I have never felt this way for any woman the way I feel for you.

Aditi: I wish I could confidently say 'I love you'

Zain smiled and got up to go. 

Zain: You already said that a thousand times. I can hear your heart screaming out aloud. I want you to get rid of all conflicts and trust me. I just want you to make sure about everything and be mine with no doubts because...

They were walking towards the main door and reached the doorstep. Zain looked at her lovingly.

Aditi: Because?

Zain: Because once you agree to be mine, only you will become my wife. I love for eternity. I won't be able to think of anyone else. When you come to me bidding a farewell to all your mental conflicts, you should be well aware that someday you are going to become Mrs.Aditi Zain Imam. 

Aditi(repeated in a whisper): Mrs.Aditi Zain Imam.....

Zain(smiled): All this should change nothing between us okay? Lets put all this aside and be back to our tom and jerry form. Humare beech ye jo mutual feelings ka conflicts hai, wo apne aap sulajh jaayenge. Tu tension na le. (This conflict of mutual feelings that we have between us, will be sorted out by itself. You don't take tension)

Aditi: Have I ever told you how awesome you are?

Zain: And have I ever told you how beautiful you speak?

Aditi: Huh? I'm confused.

Zain: Adi. I am glad we talked it out. You opened up about what you feel and that's the best thing. Relationships die due to this so called communication gap. Always be the same and feel free to discuss and solve everything. Be it friendship or something else. I respect you for that.

Aditi: That's because I know you are a good listener. You make me comfortable- happy- smiling. I can't deny that. Neither can I thank you enough for that. Zain.. why are you sweating so much? 

Zain: Sweat.. oh! I do sweat a lot. Not a big deal..Bye. And yea...We are going to shoot consummation scene tomorrow.

Aditi: Yeah. We have to make it hot. Legit sizzling hot..

Zain(winked at her): Hot ka tho patha nahi... It will be natural for sure 

Aditi: Maroongi main tujhe(I will smash you..)

Zain laughed and wished her good night.

Next Day Morning, Aditi banged Zain's flat door for the nth time and gave him numerous phone calls which remained unanswered. Her heartbeats raced in worry. Why is it taking too long for him to open the door? She thought of ringing up Jahaan to see if he knew anything. Just then, the door flung open and she rushed inside.

Aditi: What were you even..

Aditi suddenly saw Zain holding on to the sofa in his flat for support. He looked tired. His eyes closed every now and then and he sweated badly. She felt miserable. Zain slipped and fell backwards on to the sofa. Aditi screamed and rushed to hold him. Tears brimmed up in her eyes. She made lie down on the sofa properly and then realized that he was burning with fever. She ran off to the fridge to get some cold water. She fetched a clean towel, dipped it in ice cold water and placed it on his forehead. She opened the first 3 buttons of his shirt and stroked him gently. After about half an hour, he slowly opened his eyes to see a worried Aditi in front of him. 

Zain: Good morning.

Aditi: Its clearly not good.

Zain: I don't know what happened. I couldn't sleep yesterday.

Aditi: Why didn't you just call me dammit? You had a soaring temperature. Thank god its better now.

Zain: Adi.. I am hungry.

Aditi: That's a really good sign. It would have been a matter of concern if you were not hungry. Just give me a minute. I will prepare something light for you. And let me ring up Sangeeta..

Zain: I'm not taking an off..

Aditi: You are! Don't make me lose my temper! 

Zain: Adi.. the entire unit must be waiting with all decors for that scene. We can't back out due to a fever.

Aditi: Zain. All that are not important than your health.

Zain: TRPs are low Aditi. We need to work harder. Believe me, I am all good now. Please...

Aditi: Hmm. First have something and take a tablet. You can do that right?

Zain: Yh. Yaar, gussa math ho.. (don't be angry)

Aditi: Nahi tho kya khushi ke maare naachoo main? Baat karta hai.. (Shall I dance in happiness now?) 

Zain chuckled at her antiques and laid back peacefully watching her rushing through the kitchen making him breakfast. All that happened the previous day flashed across his mind. A faint smile crept on his face. Aditi raced to him, feeding him with her own hands. She made him eat his tablet and handed him a fresh new t shirt. He went over to washroom and saw lukewarm water kept ready for him. He couldn't help but smile widely at this girl. He came out and she gave him his bag all packed with whatever he takes to the sets daily. 

Zain: You are already my wife..!

Aditi: Shut up! This is only for today. You can't even stand up properly, still have energy to pull my legs. You crazy mahn. We have a long day to go.

Zain(tugged at her hand): Long NIGHT Aditi... Its consummation.

She gave a stern look to him while he gave her his infamous smirk. Both of them busted into fits of laughter holding on to each other. They rushed off to the sets....

Kaay Guyz! I know many of you have expected something else. I wanted to keep things close to reality and I came up with this. Much more mature and realistic I think... Sorry if I disappointed any of you. ....
