Neil: Did she slept?

Avni: Yes, finally! Ananya is becoming naughty like you.

Neil: Of course, after all she is my daughter😉.

Avni:(smiles) Mr Khanna correction, she is our daughter, our lifeline😘.

Neil: True! Ananya loves your (lori) lullaby. She looks so cute while sleeping.

(Avni was in her own world)

Neil: Avni...... Avni were are you lost?

Avni: Neil do you remember Ananya's first word?

Neil: Yup, how can I forget our princess's first word.

Flashback

(One fine morning........ Entire Khanna family was having breakfast in the dinning table)

Shweta: Areee Avni beta, take parathas, you are not eating properly.

Avni: Mummy ji, don't worry I will have it.

Neil: Bebe, mom & dad, what was my first word?

Prakash: Why today you are curious to know?

Neil: Dad, it's  8- 9 months  now....l am sure this is time when baby says the first word. They starts talking. I know she is babbling but l am eagerly waiting for the first word. so I want Ananya to speak papa first. That's why I am asking.

Shweta: Oh gods Tillu calm down....your first word was your name 'Neil'.

Avni: Self obsessed Khanna (chuckles)

Neil: I heard it Avni...... But Ananya will say papa first. If not papa then dad or daddy but she will call me first.

Avni: No.... Maa first...

Neil: No.... Papa first...

Avni: Maa....

Neil: Papa....

Avni: Maa

Bebe: You guys stop it....you are not kids. Now you both became parents of kid. Still you guys act like children. Ananya will say 'Bebe' first (smiles)

Shweta: I wish Ananya utters 'dadi' first.

Bebe: Madam Madona, in your dreams. Let Ananya decide which word she likes.

Avni: Yes bebe, but I want baby to speak 'Maa' first dil se😍.

Bebe: Don't worry dear, she will... (Avni smiles)

(Suddenly entire family heard a cute voice.... Ma...
Ananya: Maa...... Maa......❤
who was happily giggling in the cradle)

Avni: (in tears) Bebe, did...did Ananya said 'Maa'?

Bebe: yes

(Avni kissed on Ananya's forehead... Her eyes were blooming with happiness so as Neil after all their daughter said her first word💖)

Avni: My bacha

Flashback ends

Avni: Ananya said her first word 'Maa'

Neil: I am very happy. I wanted her to utter papa first but I always want my big baby to be happy. Your happiness lies in my happiness.

Avni: l am so blessed to have husband like you. I love you!

Neil: I love you too.....but our next baby will utter 'papa' first.

Avni: Our next baby! (blushes)

After 4 years

(Avneil were blessed with baby boy. Ananya kept her brother's name Akash)

Avni: Akash beta.... Papa bolo pa... pa...

(Akash was looking at his mother. He was clueless )

Ananya: Mom why are you teaching bro to say Pa... pa. You can teach him to say mummy or mom also

Avni: Beta, this time I want Akash to utter his first word papa.

Time Lapse

After some days

Neil: Avni where is my white shirt. I am getting late for police station.

Avni: The shirt is in the cupboard.

Ananya: Papa here is the shirt.

Akash: Pa...pa....papa.

(Neil was contended. His wish came true)

Neil: Avni,......Akash said papa.

Avni: Yes, now you are happy?

Neil: yes very much and I know you only taught him to utter papa first.

(Avni smiles)

Avni: A small suprise for my hubby.

(Avneil hugged each other❤)

There are no words that can  describe the euphoria you feel when your baby recognizes you for the first time & smiles 😊
