Four kids were playing in the Khanna garden. They were non another than Avni, Neil, Ali and Vidhyut. Ali and Vidhyut were twins of 12 years old. Neil was younger brother who was of 9 years old. Sweet cute girl Avni who was just 5 years old. They were playing hide and seek. Shweta and Prakash were admiring the kids.

Shweta: It has been 2 months Avni lost her parents in a car accident. Neela was my very good friend. I really miss her.

Prakash: I too miss my friend Ashish. It's good that we brought Avni in the Khanna mansion. Our kids loves Avni like a cute sister.

Shweta: Na... Na.... Correction only Ali and Vidhyut treats Avni like a sister but my Tillu always treats her like a best friend.

Prakash smiled, suddenly they heard crying voice of Avni. Hearing the voice everyone comes out. They saw Avni was sitting on the ground by holding her left knee which contained few bruises.

Neil: What happened doll? Are you fine? You want something?

Avni: Uff Neilu, stop asking so many questions. I am getting confused. I was running then suddenly I trippled down and got hurt.

Ali: Wait Avu, I am bringing ice for you.

Neil: Yeah, I will bring chocolate ice cream for my doll.

Avni smiled coyly

Avni: Awww Neilu, I am waiting for it.

Time lapse now kids too grew up. Ali and Vidhyut were just like a protective brothers for her while Neil was very much possessive for Avni. Now Avni was of 12 years old girl, with fare skin, long hair and charming face. Neil too became more handsome, girls used to drool over him. Avni hates those girls who always talked with her best friend Neil. Now their group became more strong. Ali's best friend is Kabir. Vidhyut, Avni and Neil too admire him.

Actually Kabir is a black sheep in their friend group. He used to lust over Avni's body but nobody noticed him. Gradually Kabir started dirty games with Avni. He used to lay hands on Avni but Avni being a child, Avni never understood his intensions.

One day, it was a holiday so Ali, Vidhyut, Neil, Avni and Kabir thought to do sleep over at Kabir's place. They were enjoying the precious time. It was night time everyone played, talked, gossiped and thought to sleep. All were sleeping peacefully but two souls were not sleeping. Avni didn't felt like to sleep hence she woke up and started roaming in the garden. It this span of time, Avneil started falling in love with each other. Although they both were not aware of this beautiful feeling but they care for each other and respect each other. Avni and was walking in the garden, she was wearing long length white frock with navy blue colour jacket around it.

Avni's pov:

Oh God l called Neilu so many times but that kumbhkaran was sleeping deeply. What should l do now?

Suddenly she heard Kabir's voice

Kabir: Darling Avni what are you doing here that too over this late night time?

Avni felt awkward by hearing word 'Darling'.

Avni: Actually l was not feeling like to sleep hence thought to roam in the garden.

Kabir: oh Acha, by the way Avni ( holding Avni's arm) l want to say something to you.

Avni: What?

Kabir:  l love you, l know you a child like to me but l really like your cheeks, neck, your eyes preciously your lusty lips.

Now Avni was feeling uncomfortable.

Avni: sorry but l am only Neil's.

Kabir: ( caressing Avni's cheeks) common Avni l can make you the happy person. You are eligible to become my girl friend. In fact l am more handsome than your Neil.

Avni directly ignored him & came in the living room.

Kabir pulled Avni harshly towards him & started biting on her neck. Avni started shouting in pain. He was even forcing her to kiss him but Avni pulled his shirt barbarously & gave him tight slap on his left cheek. Due to pulling his shirt got little torn.

Kabir: (shouting) help... Help...
Someone help me...

Lights got on by hearing the voice. Neil came running towards them.

Neil: What is happening over here?

Before Avni could answer Kabir interrupted.

Kabir: Av... Avnu forced me

Avni was astonished & shocked.

Kabir: Neil, Avni proposed me & tried to touch me inappropriately. Have a look Avni torned my shirt too.

This time everyone was shocked while Neil's eyes were burning in anger.

Avni: l... I... Di..

Neil: Stop it Avni

Avni looked at Neil sorrowfully.

Neil: l can't believe this Avni, you proposed Kabir. You know what l started loving you. I thought you are different than other girls. I thought you are innocent doll but you did wrong. You lost your parents but my parents brought you home. We became friends but l see you are not our friend from onwards. I just hate you.

Avni: Neil l...

Neil: no Avni

Ali: Neil at least listen to her

Neil: No, Kabir is correct, can't you see his shirt is torned. I think you can understand the situation.

Avni silently listened & went from there.

Next day, in the Khanna Mansion

Avni : Shweta aunty, Prakash uncle l want something from you both. Promise me you will give me.

Prakash: Of course princess, we will full fill all your wishes & dreams.

Avni: l want to continue my futher studies in abroad. I don't want to stay over here. No one trust me.

Neil was shocked by the revelation.

Prakash: Avni ask something else. We can't let you go away from us.

Vidhyut: Dad is correct, please don't feel bad about Neil words. We all trust you

Prakash: Which Neil words?

Vidhyut explained everything to Prakash & Shweta. Prakash gave a tight slap on Neil's face. Now Neil was too feeling guilty over his deeds. He should have trusted Avni over Kabir.

Neil: Avni, my doll you are seriously going?

Avni: You know what Neil, most relationship fails not because of the absence of love & trust. They are always present in it. It's just that one loves & trust more while other one loves & trust little. Neil you never trusted me.

Neil: l am so sorry doll

Avni: l am going far away from you Neil

Shweta: Avni beta don't go

Avni: l have to aunty.

Ali's pov:

Sorry Avni l can't stand beside you. You are a pure soul but l have to do this. Even l am bound by the promise.

Flashbacks

Ali checked the photage of the Kabir's garden . He got to know everything regarding his friend or a better word foe Kabir's dirty deeds. Ali was firmed to punish Kabir.

Kabir: Ali my dear friend you can't reveal this secret to anyone. You  have to separate Avneil or else l will turn the table.

Ali: What are you talking about?

Kabir: Avni should go away from Neil or else l will reveal Neil that he is not the real son of Khanna. He is adopted.

Ali: No you can't say this otherwise he will get hurt. He doesn't know his past.

Kabir: Then separate Avneil.

Flashback ends

Ali: Dad l think Avni is correct, she should continue her studies in aboard. Neha massi stays in Canada so Avni can stay with her.

Neil's heart got broken. He asked for the forgiveness from Avni but Avni denied instantly. Years passed Neil became more silent soul. He is only waiting for his Avni's return.

Finally that day came, today is Avni's birthday. She is returning from Canada. Neil prepared the cake & decorated the mansion only for Avni.

Neil: Please Avni forgive me, call me donkey, monkey, cock, whatever you want but don't stay angry on me. The distance made me realized the value of you. I missed you so much.

Avni you were thousand miles away but no one else is closer to my heart expect you. I truly love you.

Avni 's eyes were turned into moist.

Neil: I also felt in love with you. I can't stay away from me. Please accept this imperfect man. Please be my soulmate, my forever love. I am really sorry.

Avni: It's okay, l too love you.

Avneil smiled coyly & hugged each other tightly.

Few years passed, Avneil got married. Ali married to Riya while Vidhyut married Juhi. They all lived happily with each other. After 2 years, Avneil were blessed with twins - Aarav & Anjali.

The beginning of love is the will to let those we love be perfectly themselves, the resolution not to twist them to fit our own image.
