It was dark night and rains were pouring heavily. Driving in this weather is a risky task still some people who are determined towards their work won't let heavy rains disturb their job.

Neil a young, handsome guy of 27 years was driving back to his condo after finishing his work. He always have a very busy schedule as he is an ACP in Mumbai police. These heavy rains didn't bother him still his mood was upset as he had an argument with his girlfriend Juhi. It's been 3 months since they are dating still he never felt that she loves him whole heartedly. His loyalty towards her don't let him think much about these worst possible scenarios. He was driving in the empty roads trying to go with the flow little did he knew that his life is about to change. He was driving firmly but suddenly applied  breaks when he saw a girl lying on the road in unconscious state. Blood was oozing out from her forehead and foot. He went towards her and patted her cheeks, she didn't respond so he took her towards  his car in bridal style and placed her on the seat. He checked her pulse and was relieved that everything was fine. He thought maybe she fainted cos of  the shock.

He drives towards his condo and made sure that she was safe in every aspect. He took her inside his condo and called his neighbour who is a doctor by profession.

Doctor - Neil she is fine. I have done the dressing but her foot has a deep cut so make sure that her movement should be minimised for few days. Here are some pain killers, make her eat something after she gains consciousness and after that give her medicines. Do her dressing regularly and call me if some problem occurs.

Neil - Yes doctor.

The doctor left and Neil covers the girl with a duvet. He goes to kitchen for preparing something for both of them. He was cooking the food but his work was disturbed with a voice.

He came towards his bed and saw that the girl have gain consciousness and was scared cos of unfamiliar surroundings which is normal.

Girl - Where am I? Is anyone there ? ( scared ).

Neil  - Hey!! Calm down. You are safe.

He sits beside her on the bed.

Neil - I am Neil and I am an ACP.  So you are safe with me. Don't worry. Actually I found you lying unconscious on the road as you met with an accident so I brought you in my home.

Girl - Oh !! Thanks for helping me but I should leave now. ( She says politely ).

Neil - You can't leave right now as you are having a deep cut on your foot so you need proper rest. (He says softly.)

Girl nods while Neil smiles.

Neil - You sit here I will bring dinner for you. Okay.

Saying this he went to kitchen and came with a plate in his hands.

Neil - Here, have your dinner then I will give you medicines.

He forwards the plate towards her but she's not able to locate the direction and was struggling. Neil got confuse with her actions.

Neil - What happened ? ( He asks softly ).

Girl - Actually I am blind so .... ( She bows her head down.)

Neil- Ohh !! No problem I will make you eat. 

Girl - No it's okay... you have already done alot for me.

Neil- Its okay. I am completely fine with it. By the way your name ?

Girl - Avni .

Neil - Nice name. ( smiles ).

He feeds her food and gives her medicines. She felt good after receiving this care after long time.

Neil- Avni. Where is your family ? I mean I will drop you at your home tomorrow as you need them.

Avni - ( tears rolls down from her eyes ). I am an orphan Neil, I live in orphanage you can drop me there.

Neil feels bad for her so he consoles her.

Neil- I will take care of you for some days and when you will recover completely then I will drop you there.

Avni - but ...

Neil - My decision is final...

Avni - But your family ?

Neil- We are in my condo. I have very tight schedule so I live alone here. About my family they won't mind it. So you need not to worry. Now sleep and if you want anything then tell me, I will sleep on the couch, you be comfortable here. Okay ..

Avni nods and drifts into sleep as she was way much tired. Neil was lying on the couch but sleep was far away as there was no call, no message from Juhi. Neil calls her but she didn't pick his call. He looks at Avni who was sleeping peacefully and a smile appears on his face. He sleeps after some time.

In morning he wakes up and saw Avni trying to locate the way towards washroom, so he helps her and went to kitchen for preparing breakfast. As he came outside, he saw Avni sitting on the dinning table.

Neil - How you managed to come here ?

Avni - By feeling the things kept around. I am habitual Neil.

Neil feels bad.

Avni - Don't feel bad for me Neil I am like this only.

Neil- How did you know what I was thinking ?

Avni - ( smiles ) you are very pure soul Neil I can feel you.

Neil smiles and they both had their breakfast.

Neil - Avni you want something ?

Avni- No Neil. Thanks for asking. When will you leave for your work ?

Neil - Today I have day off. So I will be here only. ( He was sad ).

Avni- Why are you sad ?

Neil- Actually I had an argument with my girlfriend so ....

Avni - Arguements are the part of relationship Neil. You fight with the person whom you loves alot. I think you should go and talk to her. It doesn't matters who was wrong and who was right. At the end of the day you should let your love dominate your ego.

Neil smiles after listening her words.

Neil - You know you are the best person I have ever met as you always stay positive.

Avni - Yeah !! When life give you lemons then you should try to make orange juice.

With that they both started laughing.

Neil - Okay then I should go now.

Avni - All the best. ( smiles ).

Neil - Thanks cutie.

He leaves.

In night Neil came home with bloodshot teary eyes. He goes in his bedroom and saw Avni sitting there. He closed the door and sat on the couch with a thud.

Avni- Something went wrong Neil ? ( She asks being concerned).

Neil sits besides her.

Neil- ( broken voice ) How you know about this Avni ?

Avni - I told you that I can feel you. Maybe I am not blessed enough to see your vulnerable site but I am privileged enough to feel you and your emotions.

She was trying to locate his face. She places her hands on his shoulders. He holds her hands and place her hands on his face. She cups his face and ask.

Avni - What happened Neil ? The problem between you and your lover have increased ? ( concerned ).

Neil burst into tears and Avni caress his head softly even she was having tears in her eyes.

Avni - Neil please stop crying ? And tell me what happened.

Neil was very broken so she pulls him into a gentle hug. Neil snuggles more into her. He was clinging to her while her hands were around his back rubbing his back gently and his arms were around her waist.

Neil - ( still hugging her ) She cheated me Avni.  She cheated me.

He was crying while she was consoling him.
