ACP Neil Khanna was in Pune to attend close friend's birthday celebration and Engagement Party. Neil, Ali, Riya, DD and Sunehri are college friends. Ali, DD and Neil shifted in Mumbai for work while Riya and Sunehri stays in Pune. Neil and DD were police officers and Ali runs a cafe. Riya is a fashion designer while Sunehri works in an NGO.

It was around 11pm, Neil was on his way to Riya's birthday party. All other already reached her farmhouse but Neil was late due to urgent department work. Riya's farmhouse was far away from city's noise. Neil was on road to her farmhouse, the road had a single streetlight.

He saw that few men were harassing a girl. He immediately came out from his car and ran towards them but something stopped him. He saw that the girl pushed them and started hitting them one by one. One guy was punched on stomach while one welcomed a punch on his face. The other two had their checks painted red because of tight slaps.

The men ran away from girl to save their life. Neil saw that the girl was breathing heavily, he ran towards her and came in front of her. Neil saw sweat beads on her forehand, her cloths had dust on them and her lips were trembling. Neil tried to cup her face but she jerked him away. 

Neil : See, I m police officer.. Me tumhari help karunga.. Calm down..

Girl - Stay.. Stay away from me.. Dont.. Don't touch me..

The girl was a feet away from Neil but he was able to realize that she was boiling with high fever. She was traumatized and Neil had very less time to do something or else the situation could worsen. Neil came out from his thoughts when he heard a thud sound. The girl already collapsed on ground due to trauma and fever.

He lifeted her in his arms and settled down her on passenger's seat. He immediately took a U-turn to take her to hospital. Neil was wearing a blazer, he took off his blazer and covered her with that. He also wiped her face with hankie simultaneously. Soon he reached hospital and the girl was taken for aid.

The doctor told him that she was suffering from trauma and collapsed due to shock.

Doctor : She will be fine soon Mr. Khanna. It completely depends on her, she has to fight with her nightmares.

Neil : Thank You doctor.

Neil waited for her to come back in senses but she was still unconscious. Unfortunately, Neil had an urgent department work. There was a urgent meeting which was important for Neil to attend. However, he didn't wanted to leave her in this condition so he decided to go with video conference.

The meeting ended after two hours. Neil was hell tired and his friends were continuously calling him. He didn't told anything to them till now. Neil went to check on girl as he wanted to take her statement and put those men behind bars.

Neil entered room and to his surprise, there was no one in the room. He came near bed and saw that note of prescribed medicine was kept there. He opened the note and saw,

"THANK YOU"

He felt it weird. The girl disappeared without informing him and left list of her prescribed medicine along with a thank you! However, he took the note and kept it in his pocket. Neil came out of hospital to visit Riya's farmhouse, unaware of strom waiting for him.
