Avni started to head towards the main entrance

As she was walking into the bulding  she was looking for her Id in her bag and within a sec she bumped into someone so hard...her hand automatically went onto the person shoulder while a pair of hand was holding her from her arm

Avni moved her face back a little to find herself drowning into a pair of eyes that was looking at her seriously

Voice: u should watch where u going he said seriously

Avni came back to reality and realised the person she was staring at was none other than neil

Moving her away from him neil walked away while avni bit her tounge and headed to where she was meant to meet dd

As avni reached there she saw few other employees who was there with her that had gotten selected...she smiled at them and stood in her place

After few mins dd had arrived while looking at something in the folder he had

DD: morning everyone I'm glad to see you all on time...please do show me your badges so that I can tick on who is here he said

As all the employee took out their badges dd was checking it and putting a tick near their name when he noticed one person was missing

DD: aryan verma ? Isnt he here yet? He said to himself but as soon as he said that he heard the door open behind him as someone spoke

" sorry sir I'm late "

Dd turned around to see aryan showing his badge

Dd:I'll allow you this time but make sure you are not late again he said

Aryan nodded and went near avni standing next to her...he smiled at her while she returned the smile back

Dd:ok so as you all know that first we will put you all on training mode so that you know how things work here and also so that we can see your ability on getting work done...yes you all are a part of this company and count as employee who would get their salary every month ... I will be monitoring you but along with me my co-worker will also check on you and see how well you get only with the work that we planned for you...also  there will be times where you all will get to work with neil sir too so please do your best and show us your best so that once training is done you can work here permanently...now give me few mins I'll go and see if my other co-worker is here or not and then we will tell you what needs to be done

Everyone nodded and dd headed out.

Aryan looked around to see some talking to each other while some standing...he turned to avni and tapped on her shoulder  making her look at him with a frown

Aryan: sorry..I'm aryan..aryan verma what is your name ?

Avni: my name is ananya....ananya verma

Aryan: omg even you are verma that means we are family yaar he said happily

avni frowned with a smile and looked ahead...as she thought there would be no conversation after this but aryan spoke again

Aryan: so do you have any siblings?

Avni looked at aryan and recalled aman...a small smile came on her face  as she recalled her time with aman

Aryan:hmm looks like you do as you smiled he said

Avni was going to answer aryan but till then dd came back with his co-worker however avni eyes widened as she saw the person walking in after dd

Avni (in her head) : this is the same women who was arguing with that poor lady

Dd: everyone ...this is shyla my co-worker and also your senior he said

As shyla looked up  from her file she looked at everyone in the room and as her eyes moved past avni she stopped and moved them back to where avni was standing and was shocked seen avni standing in front of her

Shyla: you! she said out loudly as she looked at avni annoyingly

Dd: what happened ? He said looking at shyla

Shyla was still looking at avni annoyingly but she controlled herself and smiled at dd

Shyla: nothing dd...nothing

Dd nodded and started to give out different work to everyone

Shyla (in her head) : you had insulted me...just for some so called beggar...I thought I wont be able to give you anything back but now you will pay for that insult because nobody dares to speak go shyla like that nobody...get ready whatever your name is....

Avni took her given work and dd told all to follow him taking them towards their desks to start of the day. .

It had been two hours

Avni was working on the presentation that she had been given by dd while dd and shyla were there doing their work but also making sure to help the interns

Avni: sir ? She said calling out to dd who looked up from his laptop along with shyla

Dd: yes ananya? He said walking over to her

avni was asking him about something in the file in front of her and then at her screen

Dd was explaining while avni listened and started to make notes

Dd: I'm impressed with what you have done so far ananya keep up the good work he said smiling at her

Avni: thank you sir she said smiling back

As dd walked back towards his table shyla watched avni working on her presentation again

Shyla (in her head) : do as much as Good work you want ananya I'll make sure that you get kicked out of here very soon. That is my promise to you

Dd: if you all want to grab some coffee, tea  then there is a machine in the right hand side as you leave this room he said

Avni saw few people get up and head out and she decided to get herself some coffee too

As she waited in the line she turned around to see nobody else behind her.

Once her turn came she was taking some coffee out for herself and closed the cup with a lid.... as she was about to turn, her back bumped into someone while she held her coffee cup tightly ...avni still felt her back against the persons chest and as she slowly turned her face she looked up to see herself looking into the same pair of eyes that was looking at her seriously

Avni looked away as her eyes widened

Avni: not again she said in her head

As she turned around to say sorry neil spoke

Neil: looks like you have a habit of bumping into people

Avni went still for a sec with the way neil said that and she felt like answering him back 

Avni: I'm sorry sir she said

Neil: next time watch where you are going instead of trying to make a score of how many times you tend to bump into people or more likely me in a day he said and walked away while avni had her mouth a little open

Avni: what does he think of himself? Just because he is the boss doesnt mean he can say anything...y would I enjoy bumping into people and also to someone like him who has only one serious expression sticked to his face. she said looking annoyingly at neil retreating back

Avni walked back inside and sat on her chair...she took a sip of her coffee and decided to get back on her work instead of spoiling her mood 

After few mins neil had come and saw how all were working he saw all the interns while he can see some people typing and then deleting while some were looking into the file curiously but his eyes landed on avni who had no tension while typing and her expressions showed as if she knew what she was doing...neil turned his attention to dd

Neil: dd...make sure the blue prints are ready by this week...here is the file...I have an important call with a client in a  bit...if anything is needed you know what to do

Dd nodded

Neil: how are the interns doing?

Before dd could answer shyla came ahead

Shyla: they are doing good NK.

Neil nodded and left

All the interns looked at neil when he had spoken while avni didnt even look at him when she heard him speak

After an hour or so

Avni was walking towards the canteen when suddenly she saw shyla come in front of her....avni looked at her for a sec and started to walk

Shyla: ananya I need to have a word with you she said.

Avni closed her eyes thinking she will probably create a scene by brining up the morning issue...she took a deep breath and turned around and nodded at shyla

Shyla gestured avni to follow her and avni did unwillingly

As they entered inside the room shyla closed the door

Shyla: look I know we didnt have a good start with each other outside the office but now that we both know we working over here i would just say let's forget about whatever happend and start afresh...just think I had a bad morning and I took it out on you and that poor lady  she said smiling at avni pretending to talk sweetly

Avni looked at shyla she hadnt expected shyla to say alll this as she clearly thought she would probably speak to her Rudely

Avni: I guess you are right...there is no point of having grudges against each other as it wont do any good to us and I completely understand having bad morning can give us a rough start. After you saying this to me I have nothing against you she said falling into shyla words

Shyla: thank you so much ananya for understanding I'm glad all is sorted

Avni: me too and thanks to you for clearing it out as I thought you probably would say the opposite to me

Shyla (in her head) oh of course I would have but shyla loves to give it back in a better way...just wait and watch

Avni: I'll go to the canteen now she said while shyla smiled and nodded but as avni was out of her sight shyla smiled cunningly

Avni had reached to the canteen she got herself some sandwich and juice

Aryan:hello he said sitting in front of her making avni shriek for a sec

Avni: hi she said after few secs

Aryan:by the way I hope you dont mind me sitting here right...wait y would you mind we work together...and also our surname is the same he said opening his tiffin

Avni: you talk a lot she said out of the blue

Aryan: I know and that is a good thing right...you talk less and I talk more se will get along for sure he said.

Avni: how are you so sure that we will get along ? What if we dont ?

Aryan: how are you sure that we wont get along he said smiling as he started eating his food

Avni slightly smiled and started eating

Aryan: by the way where do you live?

Avni: just 20 mins away from here y?

Aryan: so that if you want I can come and pick you up and drop you

Avni: so that even I'm late too in the morning ??

Aryan:arien that was only today

Avni: what is the guarantee that you won't be late tomorrow or even after that

Aryan: achaa ji...chalo I promise you from now on I'll be early

Avni: we will see

Aryan:so that means I can come and pick you up in the morning?

Avni: first we will see if you arrive on time and then I'll think

Aryan: so then I can come and drop you at least ?

Avni: that we will see after too as we just only met

Aryan: ok let's become friends then he said forwarding his hands

Avni: this soon?

Aryan: if we dont start now when will we

Avni looked at aryan and then at his hand and after few secs she shook hands with him making aryan smile

Aryan:I knew it..nobody can resist my friendship he said

Avni: however that doesnt mean you will drop me yet 

Aryan: you are very stubborn

Avni: that I am she said smiling slowly

Aryan: acha but just promise me whenever you need me to pick or drop you then you would tell me

Avni : I will she said smiling at him

Aryan:by the way you didnt bring food from home?

Avni: I did but a poor lady needed it more than me....aryan smiled at her warmly

Aryan : you know what here share my paratha I have extra in my tiffin

Avni: no it's fine

Aryan: come on just have it this sandwich is not going to fill u up completely he said

Avni: aryan listen she said as she saw him get up to grab a plate

Aryan placed the paratha on the plate and forwarded it to avni

Aryan: chalo eat...I'm sure you will like it

Avni shook her head with a smile and broke a piece of the paratha

Avni: wow..this is actually good she said

Aryan: of course it is...my mum made it

Avni stopped and looked at aryan and she recalled neela....a sad smile came on to her face

Aryan: what happeend you dont like it ?

Avni came back to present and looked at aryan

Avni:its tasty I loved it she said controlling herself and smiled 

Precrap: shyla: dd I think we should tell NK to give the presentation  to ananya to work on

Dd: you are right she has actually been doing well for the past few days...I'll just go and ask neil sir as he also wanted a report on the interns he said leaving

Shyla looked on cunningly thinking about her plan
