Author's pov-

Gangore-

Avni was sleeping on her bed but for even few seconds her lids weren't closed as she was constantly thinking about how her life is going. She was tensed ,about how she will manage  money in just thirty days. Although she have two jobs but it is impossible to reach 1,25,000 in a month salary. Avni saved some money for priya's studies and for her but by adding that savings also will not reach 1,25,000.

Avni was in her deep thoughts suddenly her thoughts are broken by a phone call.

"Pari... " Avni whispered, looking at her phone.

Pari is childhood best friend of avni. Pari is innocent as well as rebellious sometimes. At the age of 15 ,After the death of her parents in an accident,  Pari sold her house in ganore and shifted to Mumbai to study and earn money. After pari went avni became alone in ganore although they talk by phone. Avni loves Pari much and Pari also loves avni more than her self .After her parents Demise avni is only pari's world that's why as avni insisted Pari also applied for same college eccs so that then can stay together.

"Pari.. " A bright smile appeared on Avni's face and quickly lifted the call.

"Hey avni what's app. How are you? Are you fine na? why you didn't pick up my calls from last few days. I was so worried and yeah a good news, I'm really happy today you know why.... "

Pari gets cut by avni.

"Pari will you please stop. Please give me time to talk. You always talk like a Shatabdi express give some break honey " Avni rolled her eyes.

"Hehe sorry avnnnii carry on.." she giggled.

" I'm good pari.how are you? And why You are calling at this time? " Avni asked.

" Avni I forgot to tell you our exam results are out " Pari said calmly.

"What? When?, Pari you are telling me now.?" she shouted.

" yup.. It's true. I got a good rank but you.. You.... " Pari shuttered.

"What you you.? pari tell me fast my heart is racing " Avni bit her nails with anticipation.

"Ok.. O.. avni relax . I have a good news . Yar you topped entrance exam .You're the topper of university" Pari literally shouted in phone.

"What seriously? It's me.. Really? " Avni chocked, her eyes filled with happy tears.

"yes, avni you topped. I already know you will top. Now the wait is over . you will also come to Mumbai for studies. Only me and you. We will enjoy together now. Yeahhhhh " Pari screamed with happiness.

While avni frowned thinking her current situation. She is happy that she'd get admission in college without any fee at the same time she is sad. As its not a right time to leave everyone here.

"If I go to Mumbai then who will take care of  ma and priya? And especially when our home is at sake. If  I didn't pay money back then we have to leave this house then where we all will go ? " Avni thought tears brimmed down her cheeks..

"Avni avni avvvvvvvvnnnnnnnniiiii. " Pari shouted.

"hey pari why are you shouting ?" Avni cleared her throat speaking.

" where are you lost? I'm shouting your name from past15 minutes. " she said.

"Nothing " 

" hey, avni why are you sounding low....Any thing happened ?" Pari asked concerned as she realized avni hiding something from her.

" no nothing... " Avni shuttered.

"Tell me avni what happened.. You are hiding something from me? " she mumbled.

"Pari will you help me if I ask something? " Avni asked, she wiped the constant tears that flowed down her cheeks.

" Of course avni.If I will not help then whom will help you? "

" Pari you have to cancel my admission from Eccs.  I won't be joining college " Avni whispered, revealing a huge bomb.

" what..... WTF. Why nonsense are you talking avni. " Pari hissed.

" Pari it's not nonsense. I'm not in a situation to come Mumbai. in past 2 days so much had happened and now I can't come and I won't come " avni said emotion less.

"No avni you will come .you are coming that's it.. " she cuts off.

"Pari please understand... Now I'm not in a condition to come and join college and why don't you understand ?Please pari decline my admission plz I beg you. " Avni shouted with tears.

" OK you are not coming na . Thes years I was alone, in future also I will be alone. it's okay avni. Now this loneliness became a habit for me " Pari says crying and she cuts the call.

"Pari pari....."

Avni started sobbing hard. She buried her face into her palms and cried like no tomorrow. Her dream , her goal everything shattered . and she was feeling guilt as she hurted her only friend Pari. But how can she leave her family in this mess? her family is greater than her dreams and goals. Later avni sleeps while crying.

Next morning avni woke up early ,she got ready and  took blessings of her mother later she went to priyas room. As she was is sleeping. Avni placed a soft kiss on her forehead before she left to her two jobs.

15 DAYS LATER

Days passed avni's two jobs became her daily routine.But the dead line for paying money is just half month away
Just 15days left for Avni to pay  whole amount of money. Avni was so tensed and scared, On the other side avni forgot about her dream and Eccs college.

Neil's Pov -

I was sleeping peacefully with a beautiful dream where every single girl on the earth was killed my aliens making world free from useless, brainless, dumb girls. It was so satisfying to watch girls dying. They deserve it.  Suddenly my dream got disturbed  by alarm clock.

"This alarm is just like girls . It irritates me like them" I cursed.

Suddenly I remember something.

Ohhh shit today is first day of clg and I'm here sleeping like a pig. Oh godd.

But.. It will be fun to meet topper avni.

Avni mehta I'm coming.

I entered college on my sports bike. I parked the bike at parking area and I walked inside. Today, I wore black T-shirt with torn jeans. I know I must be looking devilishly handsome and hot as because All girls were awestruck by seeing me but I ignored all of them and went inside only to gasp loud.

College looked damm beautiful. It was fully crowded with freshers as today is the first day of college . Some students were chitchatting while some students were busy in finding  Classrooms. I also saw senior students are ragging freshers .

ECCS engineering college

I sighed right then I saw rohan and Ali waiting for me.

"hey Ali.. rohan. " I chirped walking towards them.

" Today also late ?. " Ali rolled his eyes.

I was about to speak some thing but my words were interrupted  non other than juhi. She was wearing short crop top with skirt exposing her Bare skin.

" Neil how I'm looking? "  says juhi battling her eyes lids.

I was hell angry seeing her like that. Why these girls want attention? Why don't they want lobe and care? Anyways they all are like that.

I  ignored her words and walked from there leaving juhi, Ali ,rohan confused

While walking to my class, I started remembering my goal. I took aerospace engineering as it was my childhood dream. I had done a lot of hard work to achieve this and my hard work paid off. Now I selected my favorite stream by getting best rank. On the other side juhi, rohan took same stream while Ali, ria took civil engineering.

Later, college first bell rang all the students dispersed to their respective classes.

I went to my classroom and saw all  students were doing random things but my eyes were only searching for one girl that is avni.

What the hell I'm thinking ? No stop thinking about her Neil. why I'm thinking about that girl?

I took my seat and sat down.

Then professor came as it was our 1 St lecture. Professer told us to introduce ourselves. At first girls started their introduce. I was listening carefully as to find avni among those girls. all of them introduced but I couldn't find avni as no one had that name .

I felt dissapointed and thought may be she took another stream. But I can't lose, I've to see who she is how she looks.

Later I went to the admission department to know the information about avni.

" I want help " I said to assistent boy  in admission department 

" what help ??" he asked.

" I want some information about a girl but I just know her name."

That boy thought and said it will take some time to search & he started to hinting Something .

"okay I will give you money I just want information about her by tomorrow "

" Okay " he smiled 

After that I directly went to my house. It was 11o'clock but I didn't sleep as I was only thinking about avni. I don't know why but she clouded mind.

From past one year I didn't thought about any girl .it was the 1st time I was thinking about a girl and wants to know about her . A small smile crept on my face as I can see avni tomorrow.

Next mrng before going to class I directly went to the admission department and asked that boy information about avni.

"Any information ?"

"ya that girl .she is topper of university but.. "

" I know she Is topper. Say something which I don't know " Neil rolled his eyes.

"she declined admission here so she will not come "

"what ?" I shouted.

"she declined the admission. is she mad or what? "  I thought. Later I gave money to that boy and went to my class.

"she is totally mad. how can see decline admission? Haha I already know these all girls are like this only. they are afraid of everything. "

On one side I was happy because my competitor is out but on other side I felt  sad as I didn't saw her face.
