Avni's Pov -

It's been a weak since I've met Neil or seen him. After our huge argument we never met, as he said I've never seen his face for even a second. He didn't came to college nor had any contact with anyone even with juhi.

That was shocking actually, I didn't thought he was serious about not showing his face . But that's what I wanted right?

I think no because these seven days were terrible for me . Everyday I kept on looking for him at college. Every second my thoughts were clouded by him and his words. I thought to ask rohan about Neil but later realized rohan isn't talking with him.

If Neil didn't come to college then where did he go? Did he leave college? Or something happened with him?

Whatever why do I care? At least he kept his promise of not showing his face and I'm glad for it. I thought.

But that day, he looked different. Different in sense a complete opposite version of Neil Khanna which no one knows. He looked so innocent, vulnerable like a baby instead of rough guy who gave me rowdy vibes.

I still remember, The way he said "Can I kiss you on your forehead? " I lost it. I didn't knew what happened to me I didn't protest that time. I felt pain behind his voice just like mine. I saw sadness in his eyes just like mine.

Did he really regret about his actions?

Did he really meant all those words?

I sighed not understanding anything. He's such a complicated creature. I thought.

One time he hates me, another time he talks me with care and love which could melt anything even the hardest grumpy person. I don't understand him. I don't understand anything about him. He's weird.

"Avni, Stop the gas. You are burning the food. " Pari's voice brought me back from my thoughts.

My eyes widened as soon as I saw gas was on high flame and curry got burnt.

I immediately switched the gas off and sighed.

"Avni, where are you lost? Are you crazy what we will eat now? It's almost 10pm and I'm hungry " She cried out.

"I'm sorry Pari, I forgot about this. " I signed and walked to the couch.

"Avni, From past two days you are behaving strange. You get lost in your own thoughts and act all silent " pari says sitting beside me.

"What happened? Is it about Neil? " she asks.

I nodded.

"He hadn't showed up in college. No ones knows where he is? Where did he go all of sudden? " I whispered looking at her.

"It's good right? If he's gone. Then why are you thinking about him? " She frowns.

"I don't know but I'm feeling something bad gonna happen because how can someone be vanish like that? I've seen him that evening after that nothing. Neither I heard about him nor seen him anywhere." I held head in my hands easing the pain in forehead.

"Why do you care avni? He's no one except the one who played with you " she said sternly.

"I... Don't know.. Pari. I don't know . Just feeling restless " I said sadly.

Pari stayed silent for a while.

"Acha, leave it. Tell me did vidyut called you? " she asked excitedly.

I rolled my eyes.

"Yes, but why? " I asked suspiciously.

"Nothing, I stalked his instagram he's damn hot. " she whispered.

I gasped.

"Are you my friend or his? " I asked unbelievably.

"I'm your friend but you know about my crazy hormones. He looked hot in his insta pics that's why I'm telling you. He's damn! I can't " she winked.

"He may look hot but he's a terrible person you know that. " I said.

"I know, yeah tell me what was your conversation with vidyut? I saw you taking with him yesterday until midnight " she winked.

My eyes widened.

"oh come-on, I didn't talk with him. He did. " I huffed. "If you knew about our call then why did you ask me at first place? Are you doubting me? "

"No, I wasn't. Just confirmation. Now tell me what you have both talked about ? ". She grinned.

" Nothing much, but He asked me to guess what he likes eating much ?"

"What was your answer? " she asked curiously.

" I said brain. " I giggled remembering the silence of vidyut after hearing my answer.

"What? Seriously brain? " Pari laughed.

"Yes, he was eating my brain that time so I blurted out. But he didn't took that as serious. " I shrugged.

"oh ,not bad. Anything else? "

"Noth ---"

Suddenly our flat door rang making us frown.

"This time? Who can be? " I asked Pari.

"Don't know " she shrugged.

"I'll open the door, keep iron rod ready. If he's the thief, I'll hit him on his junior, you hit him on head.Okay?" I said strictly.

She nodded and I went to door.

"These robbers are unbelievable. Front door se hi ana shuru kar diya wah! " I thought and opened the door.

But My eyes widened as soon as I saw rohan standing in front of our flat crying. He looked devastated, his eyes were bloodshot red filled with tears.
His hair was messed so his clothes

"Rohan? " I whispered shocked.

"A..vni " he cried out.

"Rohan, oh my God. what happened? Why are you crying? " I started panicking.

He didn't said anything instead he Sobbed like a child. I immediately took inside of room and made him sit on couch.

"Pari, bring water please " I yelled before I turned towards rohan who's crying terribly. His face was red and eyes were fluffy like he cried for hours. I didn't understood anything.

"Rohan what happened? tell me please." I pleaded.

He didn't answer me, instead he looked at me and whimpered.

"Rohan, you are scaring me. Tell me why are you crying?" I asked , my eyes turned moist watching him vulnerable.

"Av...ni... ". he shuttered.

"Yea, tell me. I'm here.. "

"Ne.. Neil. "

My phone heart stopped beating. Neil? What happened to him?

"Rohan, tell me what happened to Neil. Why are you crying ?oh God tell me . Where is Neil. " I shouted restless.

Rohan looked at me tearfully before he burst into tears again. In mean time Pari came with water.

"Drink water and Calm down. its okay don't cry and tell me everything." I gave him the glass but he jerked it off making it fall on floor breaking it into pieces.

I gasped.

"Rohan , what the heck are you doing? Come back to senses. What happened to you ?" I shouted with red eyes. My breath laboured, tears escaped down my eyes watching him cry. He looked so broken.

Rohan stayed silent for a minute before he hugged me tight.

"Avni ...Neil... " he sobbed in my arms like a baby clutching into me.

"Yes ,Tell me. ". I whispered lowly.

"Ne..il.. He... He.. " his voice cracked.

For a second I got mad. Why the heck was he not telling me? Why the hell is he crying? Is it bad news? Did Neil had an accident or did he leave this city?

"A..vni.. Neil.. He.. " he hicupped.

I broke the hug and looked directly into rohan meyes.

"Rohan, calm down and tell me what happened or else.. " I trailed off.

He wiped his tears and then took a deep breath.

He starred at me weakly with teary eyes.

"What happened to Neil? Is he oka---"

I couldn't speak more as rohan cuts off shouting.

"NEIL, COMMITTED SUICIDE AVNI, HE TRIED TO KILL HIMSELF LIKE A COWARD. "
