Neil's pov-

After alot of boring lectures, I went to cafeteria to have a cold drink to keep my heating brain cool but I think that was my wrost decision ever . when I entered canteen, I was witnessed by the horrible scene which was horrible than ghosts . One tubelight avni  was sitting with another tubelight rahul.

But I don't give a damm to them.. Actually ,what I can do if two different species from zoo are together....

But.. but ..my blood boiled because that brainless stupid avni sat with that stupid Rahul.how can she sit with him . Like seriously? .

he is our senior and that too everyone knows in this campus that me and Rahul are wrost enemies ever, that's why none of our class students talk with him & to his friends ,but she was talking laughing with him aur kya kuch nahi wow. At least she should think of our class reputation but no she only thinks of her. After all what can I expect from that avni one brainless tortoise will talk with other brainless only right?.but why do I care about that useless girl. So I walked towards the juhi & ria ignoring those two idiots.

Author's Pov -

"Hey Neil ,what's up  ? " Juhi asked with excitement".

" should I have to take ur permission to come here" , Neil replied rudely.

"Neil , why u always talk with me like that  you know, it hurts . "juhi said while making her face sad.

"Please juhi, if you are hurt or not I don't care. For God sake plz leave me, I'm not in mood to fight so go away ". Neil said irritatingly..

"Mmmm I will go from here Neil , but see that avni. See how, she is talking with that Rahul. Everyone knows that our class had a fight with that gang and Pari too knows that . If Pari knows then as avni is her friend so she also know about your fight right?But see after knowing also, she is talking with him." Juhi whispered.

"I think, Neil she wants to beats you in studies as she knows you are the best thats why she is making friendship with seniors . Just think Neil , how can she make friendship with Rahul in just one day like seriously? "

it is just to grab attention from students and she wants to be popular like u.. Neil.. " Juhi injected evil thoughts to Neil"..

Neil stood silent & he was thinking hard about juhi's words.

"Is what juhi saying is true? avni made Frnd ship with that  Rahul within 24 hours how?? Avni is a topper but is she jealous of me ??
Is she wanted to create her own popularity? God!! What I'm thinking ? Thinking about that that avni makes my brain heat like a oven & with that heat we can make chicken tandoori too" he thought.

"Anyways, if she does all these things to get popularity . I don't give a damm, becoz if she is smart ,I'm over smart Yes my thoughts are right. she is also like other girls who will use and throw boys ,poor Rahul even though I Dont like him but I feel pity ... But why do I care about that useless girl.. What ever she does it will never effect me" Neil thought.

Meanwhile avni saw Neil who was sitting with juhi.. Immediately avnis facial expressions changed to serious ones.

"Oh God !! is he Frnd of that over acting dukans.wow Just wow . He says he never talks with girls but see how he was sitting with them.. After all What can I expect ,animals talk with only animals right. Anyways avni stop thinking about that alien." Avni thought.

"Rahul I think I should leave now as I have some works to do." avni says.

" Ya, bye" .

Pari & avni goes from canteen .

"I should eye on avni and Neil " Rahul thought looking at Avni's figure.

Avni's pov-

I started studying circuits topic ,but this topic was difficult .Actually I'm  weak in this topic and with this weakness , I took areonotical engineering which is full of physics . Damn, I haven't even listened to this lesson I was in ganore .

What to do what to do? I will ask Pari. But even she is week in physics .

Should I ask Neil.  No way he will give alot of lectures.

Then I saw our classmates. I will ask them.

"Excuse me. I'm avni"  I introduced myself.

"Hey avni, I'm Rohan "

"Did you want any help? " rohan asked.

"Actually, Im having alot of doubts in physics as I haven't listened topics. If you don't mind will be u help.. Please."

" Avni ik u missed alot of lectures.. but I'm really sorry .I don't have much idea about circuits And to be honest in this class no one has much knowledge in physics rather than one person " he said.

"What ?Then how will I ? " I pouted sadly.

" you know what you are so cute & humble avni  ,ye Neil tho yesa bol raha tha jaise ye khadoos hai".  Rohan murmured in low voice.

"Rohan what are you saying " I ask confused.

"Nothing ,if you don't mind I will give a suggestion " Rohan  says.

"Tell me. It's okay "

"The one and the only one who will clarify your doubts is  Neil. "

"What?  Rohan please you are also saying to ask him. Never I will never ask that alien" I said in anger.

"Avni see Neil is genius in physics .he will explain you clearly. I swear you will never regret this decision. But I know you both hate but avni Think about exams. As Neil is friend of me I'm sure he will explain you . Mana ki he is stubborn. but he is sweet at heart " he smiled.

"Sweet like seriously.If I go he will never clarify doubts as he hates me." I said.

Rohan came to me and took my hand in his.

"Avni , I'm saying go & ask him. if he misbehaves with you just tell me I will give best treatment that he will never dare to hurt you again " rohan said sincerely.

My eyes turned glassy as he was the third person after ayesha and Pari whom was talking with me with care .

"Thank you rohan. This is our first meeting and you are so humble & kind... I can't express my words..... Will you be my friend?" I asked.

"I'm not ur friend I'm ur best friend . if u have any problem here just give me a call , avni you know what you  remind me of someone."  Rohan says.

"Remind  of someone ?" I asked confused.

"Ha nothing.. Just saying you are cute.."

"Thank you rohan you are so kind.unless your friend who is an unkind alien" I hissed.

Rohan laughed.

"Okay I'm going to him. "

Later I went to Neil who was in classroom studying seriously . Neil's head was down as he was much agrrosed in books , I  gulped by seeing him.

I cleared my throat and stood in front of him .After few seconds Neil lifted his head to see me.

"hey ,Miss avni what r u doing here.?Now don't say u want this place too." Neil said sarcastically.

"Hlo, I'm not at all interested in ur bench. I'm just here to ask something.."

"What.?"  Neil raised his brow.

"Ha, I have doubts in circuits. I want u to explain." I whispered.

"What?? Are you serious ?see Miss topper is asking me. God is can't stop my laugh " he laughed.

"I'm serious. " I hissed.

" okay let me clear one thing u want me to explain .but  you are an university topper , instead of explaining to everyone ,you are asking me. " he again laughed.

I gave him a death glare.

"It is bcoz I've never listened to circuts . hope you will explain" I said in a calm tone..

Then Neil came closer to me.

"Okay , you want me to explain right ?" he says.

Yes. 

"Avni, you are here for help and you know what I won't do things for free." he whispers.

"What? Now what I have to do? "

"Good question, Avni If u want me to explain . First you must please me , request me for helping you " he smirks.

" What? never " I shouted.

"Okay ask others for doubts" he shrugged.

Shit, now I don't have another option.

"Neil... Will u please help me " I asked cutely..

" aur request Se pucho ".

Is he mad gosh!

"Neil please help me "

He stood silent.

"Neilu, please help me na. I will never irritate " I pouted.

Neil's Pov -

I was literally shocked by her act . The way she requested is damn cute. I never thought someone will call me Neil.

"Neil are you listening , you will help me right "  avni says.

"Ok ,I will help you "

" Thanks alien ".

" What ?" I shouted.

"I mean Neilu.Okay now explain."avni asks with excitement .

"Madam not now, I have alot of works .Do one thing meet me after college timings at library sharp & one more thing don't bring your Best Friend there. " I told her.

"Whom?" she asks confused.

"That stupid Rahul. " with that I left.

Later , after college hours I went to library and waited for her. Suddenly I saw her running and coming towards me.

"You are  5miniutes late avni" I said sternly.

"Sorry" she said in a low voice.

"What? Avni please can you repeat it? " I smirked.

" sorry " she said irritated.

"Good ,now you are learning discipline.Now come.. " and with that we Both sat on single table side by side.

"Now tell me what are your doubts"

"Ya ya I have lots of doubts in this topic. " she said.

"which one.." I asked.

"Circuits"

I took book from her and glanced at the topics. After few minutes I asked questions to avni but avni couldn't answer.

"Avni , now I really think how u became a topper imean you are not even answering simple questions ."

" Neil plz I already said i'm really weak in circuits and this topic is hard for me." she said.

I rolled my eyes.

"Okay now miss mehta is weak in circuits .. Just one question Avni , what will u do in lab if u don't have minimum knowledge about this ." I said.

"Don't know maybe I'd learn " she shrugged.

Later I started to explain but avni as a tubelight couldn't understand anything .

"Neil phir se explain karo I didn't get that." she asked.

"avni I'm explaining this topic from past 30 minutes and your not getting .god ! iknow girls arey useless and are useless in useless..." I said in anger.

"It's not my fault ,If I'm not getting, it means ur not explaining properly " avni replys back.

"Ooofffff. Avni this is last time I will explain this topic. if u get or not I will jump to another one ." 

"okay " avni said in sad tone .

I again started explaining but this work is interrupted by avni it self..

"Now What?" I asked irritatingly.

"Neil ,Im  unable to see book you are sitting far away. "

I sighed and moved closer to her And I started to explain her after I was done with explaining. I said avni to slove some problems so that I can see how much she got in her grey cells. But little  bit I knew that decision is going to give me a tough time.

But don't know at that time their is an unknown feeling twirling on my mind.Don't know what it was,but it is weird feeling which I never experienced from past one year. While thinking my eyes landed up on avni .who was cutely doing problems I couldn't help but stare at her face features.

This is the first time I was this much close to a girl . The cool breeze from the above ceiling fan is making her silky hairs jump on her face ,which was blocking my view to see her but for the first time she had done a good job she tugged her hair's behind her ear.

Her beautiful black coal eyes with small lashes which everyone can watch for years with out even blinking ..Her sharp eded nose which was red becoz of cold breeze.. Finally those pink plumpy lips , gosh they will give everyone a tough time .For the first time I was mesmerized for her beauty. For the first time I've smitten by someone whom I hated.

Suddenly my chain of thoughts are broken by someone's voice.
