Meanwhile avni was walking like a robot and when she was out of the hospital the cold wind was hitting her face slowly reducing the numbness in her body... abhi who went behind avni saw her standing outside and ran towards her when he saw her dropping onto the ground...her body shaking as she started sobbing really loudly remembering what juhi told her and the moments she spent with raj...

People who were going in and out of the hospital were looking at avni making abhi rush to his sister... he pulled her up from where she was sitting and took her to the corner away from the crowd and luckily nobody can disturb them. Abhi pulled avni close to him hugging her tightly and feeling angry at the thought of having a friend like raj

Abhi: shhh avni calm down he said stroking her head still feeling her shaking in his arms. After few minutes he could feel she had calmed down a bit but knew she was crying silently.

Avni: y did he become so greedy abhi bhai...she said letting the tears fall silently

Abhi: I don't know avni maybe he was like that from before but we just never noticed it... u know avni when I went to see juhi this morning I asked her who did this to her and she told me raj name... I could have come and told u at home but then thought its best the juhi tells u what happened that night so that at least u know that neil  is innocent... u made a mistake in the past by blaming neil and still continued to accuse him till now but its time u correct your mistake avni.

Avni: I cant face him abhi bhai... I kept on blaming him that he is the cause of juhi's condition... how will he react when he gets to know that my own boyfriend was the cause of juhis condition and here  I blamed him

Abhi: he already knows... Avni looked up at abhi shockingly.

Avni: he knows? How?

Abhi: avni when juhi was telling u what happened neil and vidyut came at the time and we three came into the room but u guys didn't notice...

Avni: i...i... didn't notice u guys... abhi cupped avni cheeks

Abhi: u didn't notice because u were shocked with the information juhi gave u.

Avni: abhi bhai will neil forgive me? Abhi looked at avni for few seconds before answering.

Abhi: maybe... u will only find out once u go up to him... Avni nodded.

abhi put his arms around avni shoulder and both walked back into the hospital... they were walking towards juhis room when dr shilpa was coming from the other end. Avni saw her and walked towards her with abhi

Avni: dr shilpa thank u so much... usually doctors would give up hope on patients like juhi... but u still continued to do her treatment even when she didn't show any response in the beginning. Today thanks u to juhi is perfectly fine... dr shilpa smiled and placed a hand on avni shoulder

Dr shilpa: avni u know y I didn't give up on juhi its because I saw the faith in your eyes that one day juhi will be fine... and that is what gave me hope also so please don't say thanks to me....Juhi is lucky to have a friend like u she said with a smile and but then slowly that smile went away and she continued... avni juhi is fine but as u know this was a molestation case we would have to call the police so they can take her statement

Abhi: dr shilpa we know that the police have to take juhis statement but we don't want anyone to find out about her.

Dr shilpa: don't worry juhi name wont come out in the open I assure u that... avni gave a grateful smile to shilpa

Avni: thank u so much... Erm dr shilpa I have a small request... Abhi looked at avni confusingly
Dr shilpa: what request avni.
Avni: is it k if I can use your cabin for few mins... I need to talk to someone privately.

Dr shilpa: well if it is important then sure u can. But only for 5-10 mins as after that I have a patient coming to see me

Avni: thank u... shilpa left form there

Abhi: avni y did... but he couldn't complete as avni answered him.

Avni: abhi bhai i want to talk to neil alone I need to apologise to him... can u please call him to dr shilpa room... Abhi just nodded and went to tell neil while avni went to dr shilpa cabin.

Abhi entered juhis room to see how neil and vidyut were busy talking to juhi. all 3 looked at him when he walked towards them.

Juhi: abhi bhai where is avni she said looking behind abhi.

Abhi: she is here... neil avni wants to talk to u alone she is waiting for u in dr shilpa room which is on the left side.
Vidyut: what does she want to talk about?

Abhi: vidyut I know avni has hurt u guys a lot but she is regretting right now... neil please... neil nodded and left the room...

it took neil a minute to find dr shilpa room and when he opened the door he saw avni facing the window... as he closed the door avni turned towards him none of them spoke... avni looked at neil face but couldn't find any emotions. She remembered all those things she said to him in the past and bowed  her head down feeling guilty and spoke slowly.

Avni: ne...neil as u know juhi told us who was responsible for her state... and after knowing the truth im sorry for blaming u for something u didn't do...I seriously feel guilty... neil without thinking I said anything to u when u was not a fault but believe me at that time I didn't know what to do seeing juhi in that state and her mentioning your name, seeing your watch next to her put me in a doubt and without trying to think properly I blamed u... im extremely sorry neil I seriously regret saying all that to u... i...I don't know if u will forgive me but please try and understand me... Avni looked at neil with her teary eyes and saw him looking the other way not even looking  at her for a second

Neil: r u done? Avni looked at neil.

Avni: I know u r angry with me and hurt by my accusation but if possible please forgive me neil... neil smirked coldly and turned to face avni.

Neil: oh really avni...if juhi hadn't come out of coma u would still be blaming me... and your lover raj will be enjoying his life without any worry of been caught right?... (he went near her and started walking in circles around her)... but that is not the case as the truth had to come out at some point... avni u just asked me to forgive u but think how I felt three years ago when  u blamed me something I didn't do in front of my friends and some students... because of u I didn't feel the same.. some people looked at me as if I was a creep.. at that time I had tried to tell u...to explain u but u never gave me a chance and just accused me ... but thanks to god that all ended soon. He stopped moving around in circle and stood in front of her and continued to speak ... What r u going to do now avni after finding out who the real culprit is.  R u going to try and save your lover boy?

Avni: neil... Suddenly avni phone rang and she looked at the caller id.. neil who was standing near her saw the name flashing on her phone and looked at her angrily.

Neil: well I will leave u alone since your raj is calling u he said sarcastically and left the cabin...

avni didn't answer the call and dropped on the couch trying to control her emotion...the phone stopped ringing but after few seconds it started ringing again... she wiped her tears sitting there for few mins before leaving the cabin.

Avni entered juhi room and walked towards abhi standing next to him... she looked at neil who was standing with vidyut  and followed their gaze to see they were looking at juhi but then she also noticed that the police was standing next to dr shilpa and looking at some folder which had juhi's report.  One of the inspector sat down on a small stool.

Inspector: miss juhi sharma this might be hard for u but u need to tell us everything that happened with u and we will make sure your name is not out.

Juhi: k. she said looking at avni... avni looked at juhi but could also feel neil, vidyut and abhi looking at her when they saw juhi looking towards her.

Inspector: good now can u tell us what happend  on that day?

Juhi: we... we had a party at our uni as all the students were going to move into a new year of uni and this was going to be my second year... we all were enjoying when my friend got a call and she went out to answer it... it took a while but my friend was not back when all of a sudden somebody came to give me a note.

Inspector: what was in that note?

Juhi: in the note it said something  meet me in room 203 near the canteen its urgent and don't tell anyone. I need ur help right now please come soon. Avni

Inspector: avni? Who is this avni?

Juhi: avni is my friend who got a call and went outside to answer it.

Inspector: what happened after?... juhi didn't
know if she should continue and looked at avni again.

Juhi: I left the dance floor and went to room 203 and when I reached there it was empty.

Inspector: then? Juhi couldn't continue she didn't know if she could tell the inspector the truth as she knew how dearly avni loved raj and now she was confused if she should tell the truth to the inspector or hide it.

Juhi: I cant say anymore and with that she broke down

Inspector: we know this is hard for u but until u don't tell us the truth we wont be able to find the culprit unless if u want us to do the investigation on your friend who sent the note.

Juhi: she didn't send the note... juhi said still crying...

avni went and sat down on juhi bed and took her in her arms and was cradling juhi.

Avni: its k calm down and tell them juhi

Juhi: but u?

Avni: u will hurt me if u try to save raj tell them the truth... the inspector looked at them both

Inspector: and u r?

Avni: im avni . Before the inspector could ask avni questions juhi spoke

Juhi: im sorry inspector I kind of lost control on my emotion... she broke the hug but kept hold of avni hand

Inspector: its k. will u be able to continue?... juhi nodded

Juhi: when I went into the room I didn't find avni when all of a sudden the door closed and when I turned around I saw raj there

Inspector: who is this raj.

Juhi: avni boyfriend... the inspector was surprised and looked at avni and raised his eyebrows

Inspector: your friends boyfriend?

Juhi: yes he was the one who had written that note in the name of avni

Inspector: y?

Juhi: on that day in the morning I went to the mall to buy a dress when I saw raj at the mall and I was going to say hi to him when I went near him... he was speaking to some guy and was talking about drug deal by doing a fake business deal with one of his friend so his illegal work stays a secret and also was promising another girl to marry her

Inspector: did his friend know about this drug deal

Juhi: no he didn't... but raj was saying he was trying to get his friends signature on some fake business but they declined the offer as they r not ready to start any new projects then that person left who was with raj

Inspector: do u know the friend who  this raj was going to do a fake business deal with?

Juhi: he is abhi bhai ...avni brother.

Inspector: strange... what happened next?

Juhi: when I was about to confront him I saw this girl running into his arm and he was promising to marry her... I didn't know what to do as it was all shocking... then raj saw me and I gave him a chance and told him to tell avni the truth himself but he didn't.

Inspector: then did u tell your friend the truth he said looking at avni then back at juhi

Juhi: I wasn't able to tell her at the start as I was waiting for raj to tell her at that time but when I realised he wasn't going to tell...I was about to leave the room to go and tell avni myself  when he stopped me and told me that nobody can come between him and avni and with that he mol... juhi didn't continue and hugged avni

Inspector: I know this is really hard for u but miss juhi u have to continue so we know the full story... did anyone see him?

Juhi: no... my friend neil she said pointing towards neil... He was trying to break the door when he heard my scream... when neil was trying to break the door open raj banged the back of my head against the wall very hard and ran away from there and by then neil came in. neil did go after him but I didn't know if he found raj or not because by that time avni came and I tried to tell her what happened however I wasn't able to tell her the whole truth since i couldn't speak properly and with that I fainted

Inspector: well miss avni what happened after that.

Avni: seeing juhi in that state I took her from there with the help of my driver and took her to the hospital...but it was too late as the doctor told me that because of the head injury she slipped into coma I was shocked and didn't know what to do so I came back to india and continued juhi treatment over here.

Inspector: didn't u doubt on anyone at that time.

Avni was silent for a sec remembering how she accused neil

Avni: no...no I didn't... vidyut and neil looked at each other remembering all the word she said to neil.

Inspector: is your brother here? Avni nodded and abhi came forward.

Abhi: inspector im abhi metha

Inspector: did u have any business deals before with mr raj before and were u aware about his illegal business

Abhi: no he was my friend since college days and we did plan to do a business deal together but it never really worked out in fact I got to know by juhi today that he was trying to get me sign a fake business deal to hide his illegal work but at that time me and my dad were not ready to start any new project.

Inspector: what is raj's full name

Abhi: raj singhania

Inspector: shinde he said calling one of the constable

Shinde: ji sir?

nspector: shinde find the details of this raj singhania

Avni: inspector I need to tell u something

Inspector: go ahead

Avni: raj is in paris right now

Inspector: shinde call the police over there and tell them about this raj singhania and give us a call when they have found him... the constable nodded and left from there along with the inspector who assured everyone in the room again that media wont get to know about juhi.

Abhi: juhi u take care now we will come to see u soon... me and avni have to go now as we made some excuse at home and also I need to go to the office.

Juhi: its k abhi bhai I understand. Juhi and avni looked at each other and then hugged tightly.

Avni: I love u ...take care.
Juhi: love u too...  and no I wont take care of myself as I know u will be there to take care of me.

Avni looked at neil who didn't look at her but then looked at vidyut and she gave him a small smile which wasnt responded

Abhi and avni left the room and after a while neil and vidyut also had to leave.

Abhi had dropped avni home and left for office when she assured him she will be fine... when she entered the mansion she saw dayawanti  sitting there along with bebe, shweta and neela

Dayawanti : look here comes avni.

Avni walked towards them and took blessing of bebe and shweta  who blessed and hugged her back... she sat down next to neela

Avni: aunty where is mitali

Shweta : beta she has gone out with ali... avni nodded

Neela: what a coincidence... this morning avni and abhi went shopping while riya had to go work and at your house ali and mitali  went shopping... it seems like it is siblings shopping day

Avni: ma im going to my room. Neela nodded 

avni left from there when she closed the door of her room she leaned against it slowly sliding down and letting the tears flow out... her heart was paining really badly because of raj... he broke her heart by doing this to her best friend... and all of a sudden she felt anger against him recalling every word juhi said and walked towards her wardrobe and took out his picture from the diary... along with some letters, cards everything that he had given to her and placed it in a bag... avni left her room and went to the terrace ...she took everything out of the bag and threw it on the floor looking at it one last time she took out the matches and threw it on the items burning everything away which were slowly turning into ashes. Madhavi tai who came to the terrace after few mins saw avni standing there and when she went near she saw the burnt items and paper that turned into ashes and looked at avni

Madhavi : avni didi what is this.

Avni: just removing some unwanted things from my life she said looking at the last bit of paper getting burnt.

Madhavi : what r u saying

Avni: nothing let me help u clean this up... madhavi held on to avni hand

Madhavi: avni I will do it u seem tired y don't u go and rest.

Avni: thank u...

avni came back in her room and picked up her phone and dialled raj number who answered it on the ring... raj didn't greet avni and asked her questions straight away

Raj: avni where the hell were r u ?..I called u twice but u didn't answer your phone ...do u know how worried I was? U could have at least texted?  I called abhi earlier but he just cut my call?  R u even listening to me? Hello?

Avni: I am. She said not feeling the love she had for this man anymore

Raj: doesn't seem like it he said annoyingly.
Anyways lets not spoil our mood... what did u do today he said all lovingly... avni closed her eyes

Avni: raj I need to tell u some things that has been going on over here

Raj: what do u want to tell me?

Avni: raj my marriage has been fixed with someone. Raj who was relaxing on his chair sat straight.

Raj: u r joking right? He said trying to control his anger

Avni: no im serious

Raj: don't play with me avni and stop this joke...we have been together for 5 years I called u few days back and told u when I come back to india I will ask your parents to give permission for me to marry u. avni laughed but it was a fake one

Avni: Im not playing around with u raj in fact u

Raj: what r u saying?

Raj: what? He said with some hope thinking avni wont let their relationship break

Avni: lets break our relation raj. We should end it. I got engaged last night.

Raj: first u tell me your marriage got fixed and now u tell me this bullshit that u got engaged last night and u didn't bother to call me up to let me know about this... have u lost it avni

Avni: no I guess u have lost it.

Raj: im coming there on the next flight avni to hell with this business deal

Raj: avni u know that is not true.

Avni: really then what will happen to your illegal business she said mockingly... raj had a stunned expression on his face

Avni: u don't remember... oh god how stupid of me how can u remember u probably have so many that its hard to keep a count on them well let me tell u im talking about the illegal business that u were trying to do with my brother and dad by doing a fake business deal with them so that all your dirty work could be done and nobody will suspect u she said coldly.

Raj: who said this to u?

Avni: who said this to me? It's the person who had been in coma for that last 3 years only because of u. its my friend who caught u at the  discussing about some illegal business deal at the mall and how u promised to marry some girl at the mall... its my juhi im talking about when u called her into a room by writing a note with my name and then when she was going to tell me the truth u stopped her and... avni stopped as she felt horrible remembering all that ...she had tears in her eyes but she didn't let he voice crack at all.

Raj: but juhi is in coma. Then how?

Avni: the answer to your stupid question is that juhi is out of coma and totally fine... and now u will pay the price for her state so get ready mr raj singhania.

Raj: u cant do that to me avni? U cant leave me because of all this.

Avni: what makes u think I will stay with u even after this... don't u even feel ashamed of what u did with juhi? ... I must salute u raj u r such a good actor.. all these year I kept giving u information about juhi telling u how she is... what the doctors r saying about her improvement... like a stupid person I kept telling u every single detail thinking u will understand me and also will care for juhi but no I was wrong how would u understand me and care for juhi when u r the cause for all of this.

Raj: what about our love... our relation dammit for five year we have been together and now u r leaving me for this small thing... fine if u want I will apologise to juhi for the sake of us ... avni lost it now

Avni: don't raj... don't even talk about love if u truly loved me u would have told me everything arien not even that u wouldnt have even thought about doing all these things ... but yes if u thought that after knowing your truth and the type of business u do, trying to fool my parents I would still accept u at that time then the answer would have been no and it would be a no this time too... there is no us anymore so  just get it in your head raj I ended my relationship with u the moment I got to know your filthy truth... ITS OVER BETWEEN US AND DON'T CONTACT ME ANYMORE. U will be punished for what u did.

Raj: I wont let u go easily avni just remember that and with that he cut the call...

avni looked at the call and laid on her bed letting the tears flow and empty her heart that was filled with pain and betrayal that raj caused her...  on top of that he didn't even feel guilty... after a while she sat up and wiped her tears

Avni to herself: I wish if I knew your true face earlier raj... whatever happened with juhi was bad but because of her we all know the true face of yours...also  I blamed neil when he tried to tell me he is innocent... I hope u forgive me soon neil she said and wiped her tears and went to the washroom to freshen up. She was too exhausted today plus today was a good and bad day for her. Good because juhi was out of coma and bad because the culprit turned out to be someone she loved but all he did was betray her.
