Neil:are you jealous avni he said teasingly while avni glared at neil

Avni: y shall I be jealous neil....sir she said giving him a glare

Neil: because of mine and vidyut amazing bond

Vidyut: you dont have to be jealous kiddo I'm still your brother he said joining neil

Avni: y shall I be jealous with both of your bond ? In fact I feel sorry that I have to deal with you both now...luckily I have dd sir and shanti aunty to give me company

Neil : is that so he said raising he eyebrows

Avni: yess neil..sir she said smiling cheekily

Vidyut: you both seem to be getting on well

Avni felt nervous all of sudden as vidyut looked at her and then at neil woth a smile

Dd: you are right sir...actually avni did seem a little nervous especially around neil sir but I guess she got useto the way he works and explains things to her he said while vidyut nodded

Avni: even you teach me well dd sir she said it in one go

Vidyut: its good that avni is now comfortable with neil and you to dd...besides it's not a bad thing if we get along well with our staff ...its actually a good thing because when we enjoy at work place we also enjoy doing our work too he said patting avni head

Neil: you are right vidyut...someone can enjoy doing working only if they have a positive environment at work place

Vidyut: I was thinking since I'm here anyways how about we take a small tour of shimla..I mean I know you are busy with your project but when you have small break we all can go out for a bit and explore

Neil: that's a good idea actually what say guys he said looking at dd and then at  avni

Dd:we dont have any meetings tomorrow and also we dont have to go to the site so how about tomorrow

Avni: perfect I'll also take some vidoes and show it to everyone when we get back home

Shanti:dinner is ready she said coming over to where all 4 sat

All 4 got up and went to the dining table to have their dinner

Vidyut and neil started talking about their joint business while avni and dd listened keenly as vidyut was updating him about the status

After dinner when they sat down neil and dd started discussing about the project as decided wheras avni was taking notes

Neil: avni I would want you to prepare this presentation

Avni: me? She asked surprised

Neil: yes you and this isnt the first time we have given you a presentation your last presentation has been well presented that dd showed me he said

Avni nodded though she was a little nervous as this presentation was very important...its not that she found herself less capable as dd and Neil had told her to prepare a presentation few days ago and she knew she did a good job with that  but she had expected a well experience employee to do this  presentation

Neil: dont worry we will always be here to help I want to give you the opportunity as I know you have that potential and also dd and I will always guide you if you are stuck

Avni: I appreciate that thank you she said smiling genuinely at neil who blinked his eyes in assurance while vidyut was feeling proud with the way avni  was working hard on her work experience

Neil: vidyut what do you think about this he said showing the file while vidyut watched what neil was showing him and gave his input

After some time as all got up dd and avni went to their room while vidyut told neil he will be back as they always share few drinks together

shanti showed vidyut his room and on the way also showed which room neil, avni and dd are in

Vidyut frehened up and before heading down he went towards avni room and knocked...he entered when he heard her say "come in"

Vidyut: kiddo I...

Avni had turned to see vidyut when avni received a call from neela

Avni: its maa she said

Vidyut: answer then he said when avni shook her head and disconnected her call

Avni: let's surprise her she said happily and made a video call to her as she sat on her bed

Neela: bacha what happened? Y did you disconnect the call

Avni: maa woh I wanted to show you something which is very important and also something that you hadnt expected she said

Neela: what is that? Has something happend she asked

Avni: haan she said nodding her head trying to keep a straight face while neela looking at her concernly

Neela: what happened?

Avni: this happened she said pulling  vidyut closer to her so that neela can see him

For a second neela was surprised seen her kids smiling happily at her

Neela: vidyut? How  did you get there she asked

Avni: superman dropped him she spoke

Neela: avniii chup..vidyut?

Vidyut: just got here sometime ago ...thought I should surprise kiddo and neil and spend few days here since I finished the work for mine and neil business

Neela: wow someone finally decides to give himself a break I see she said teasingly while vidyut rolled his eyes

Vidyut: I always give myself a break maa

Avni: exactly like trying to contact his clients, discussing about the deals, checking his files...this is what giving himself a break means

Vidyut: is that soo haan he said tickling her making avni laugh out loud

Avni: ok sorry sorry she said grabbing her phone tightly as it was about to drop 

Neela: ok now enough of you too and get some rest ok she said to which all 3 said their byes and love you before ending the call

Once the call ended avni got up

Avni: bhai one minute I'll put my phone to charge she said

Vidyut smiled and nodded and moved to the balcony enjoying  the outside view that he got to see

Avni placed her phone on charge and turned to see vidyut in the balcony

Suddenly avni stopped in her track when she noticed something and turns around to see Neil's shirt on of the couch which she had worn last night and started to panic

Avni: oh no what if bhai sees this shirt? I dont know if he will know if its neils or not but he will surely start questioning

Avni looks at vidyut who was still in the balcony with his back towards her

Avni bit her lower lip and walked towards the couch quickly, grabbing the shirt she moves to her wardrobe when vidyut turns around

Vidyut: kiddo ?

Hearing vidyut call her avni shoved the shirt into the wardrobe quickly and closed the wardrobe door  a little too loudly and turned towards him while vidyut frowned seeing  her all tensed all of sudden

Vidyut: what's wrong kiddo?

Avni: nothing bhai woh I had forgotten to put back few outfits in the wardrobe as they were recently washed so didnt want them to get dirty she said in one go

Vidyut was surprised but then smiled and shook his head

Vidyut: calm down kiddo and relax you are acting like as if you have done something wrong and giving an explanation for been caught he said chukiling while avni forced a smile

Avni: noo I just didnt realise i said it way too quickly

Vidyut: it's ok...its best for you to sleep now ok he said while avni forced another smile

Vidyut kissed her forehead and left the room closing the door behind him

Avni: I got scared by just having Neil's shirt...what will happen when all get to know the truth about me and neil she thought to herself

Avni takes a deep breath and heads to the balcony

Avni : it's ok avni...nothing has happeend for you to panic so stop stressing yourself out and live in the present she said assuring herself

20 mins later avni had finished chatting to armaan and riddhima  who as usual was arguing but also armaan  giving romantic cheesy dialogues to riddhima...recalling their talks made her chuckle as she placed her laptop away

she looked at the time and then at the door

Avni: neil might be coming or maybe still might be with bhai...ughhh I think it's best if neil doesnt risk it due to bhai been here

She moved towards the small coffee table to grab herself some water when she noticed the jug empty

As avni was halfway down she saw the lights on where neil and vidyut sat taking  sips of their drink which seemed liked whisky to her as they laughed about something

Both suddenly turned  their attention towards avni when they saw her standing on the  last step of stair case

Neil  gaze lingered on avni making her cheeks heat up with just his stare...she licked her bottom lips to calm hersself down which neil noticed and that wasnt a good thing as he felt a sensation in him and wanted  capture her lips by that small gesture made by her.

Vidyut: kiddo y are you still awake? I thought you would be asleep he said

Avni: woh bhai I came to get some water she said showing the empty jug, still able to feel neils gaze on her but she avoided looking at him since she doesnt trust the way her body would react when its around him or more likely it slowly hard started to react

Vidyut nodded and she went to kitchen and took a deep breath controlling her racing heartbeat

As avni came out of the kitchen she saw neil making another drink for them

Avni: though its your choice on how much you drink but if you ask me I would suggest dont drink too much after this last glass and take some rest she said looking at vidyut and then at neil 

Vidyut: anything else 2nd version of neela parikh he asked teasingly to which avni rolled her eyes and left

Closing the bedroom door avni walked towards her bed and sat down as she poured herself some water into an empty glass and drank it in one go

As she placed the jug and  glass down she heard her phone ring and got up to take her phone out of charge and answered  it

Avni: hey dadi

Dayawanti: hello beta I hope I didn't disturb you at this time?

Avni: ofcprise not dadi

Ashish: see maa I told you avni will be awake he said making avni smile

Avni: what happened? you calling  at this time?

Ashish: cant we call you at this time?

Avni: you can but you  have never called at this particular time so...she said leaving had sentence hang

Dayawanti: avni beta we just called like that..I hardly got time to catch up with you and wanted to know how your work experience is going

Avni: it's going great dadi..enjoying and learning a lot of things

Ashish: I'm glad to hear that

Avni: by the way bhai came to shimla and surprised us

Dayawanti: vidiyut came there?

Avni: haan but I'm happy he came.... in that way he also get to take a break

Ashish: you are right avni...otherwise that Child of mine is always busy working he said shaking his head

Avni smiled

Dayawanti: ok avni now you take some rest as you must be tired we will talk later ok

Avni: ok dadi...I love you both

Dayawanti/ashish: love you too

Both cut the call

Ashish: ok maa good night now

Dayawanti: ashish

Ashish: haan?

Dayawanti: a rishta has come for avni...the family is nice and their son too...I have spoken to neela about this too

Ashish: what did neela say?

Dayawanti: that maybe avni and the guy should meet and  see how things go

Ashish:  maybe we should do that then but maybe vidyut can help us in this he said

Dayawanti: maybe he can..call him and see

Ashish nodded but vidyut phone was ringing as he had left it in the room

Ashish: he is not answering...I'll leave him a message to get back to me..till then let's go and eat I'm Hungry he said heading to the dining area

Dayawanti: you always agree to whatever neela says without even thinking once and the same goes for her too...the love is still visible yet I'm still wondering what went wrong that you both ended your relation she thought in her head

Ashish: maa you coming?

Dayawanti: haan beta 1 minute she said getting up

1 hour later

Neil quietly came into avni room and locked the door.. the room was quiet  dark yet the moon gave some light

He smiled when he reached near the bed to see avni sleeping on her back, one hand on her stomach and the other beside her face

He slowly got under the cover and snuggled close to her...placing a soft kiss on her forehead, nose and lips he places his hand on her stomach and hides his face in the crook of her neck but looked up when;

Avni: neil she whispered in her sleep as if able to feel him while still been a sleep

Neil smiled and placed a kiss on her neck...he  would have wanted to wake her up with the way she said his name but he also knew she needed sleep..he inhaled her scent with eyes closed and buried his face  back into the crook or her neck

Meanwhile in vidyut room

Vidyut  checked his phone when he  saw ashish  message

Frowning he dialled ashish number wondering y he wanted to speak to him at this time

Ashish: hey son

Vidyut: hey ...all good dad?

Ashish: haan...vidyut I'll get to the point instead of wasting yours or my time

Vidyut: ok go ahead

Ashish: actually maa Said there is a ristha that has come for avni and...but before ashish could  continue   vidyut interrupted

Vidyut: kiddo  is still young dad  and i feel she  should focus  on her carrer he said when he heard dayawanti speak

Dayawanti: beta what you are saying is right but she can atleast  see the guy and if things go well  then she can get engaged to him and can marry after whenever they prefer .. it's not like they have to marry  straight away... at least we  should try and make avni agree to see the boy and like I said it doesnt  have  to be a yes in the first go at least convince her to see the guy and see how it goes from there

Vidyut closed his eyes and rubbed her forehead

Vidyut: ok fine  but after she meets the guy if she doesnt want to go ahead then the topic ends there he said to which dayawanti and ashish nodded

Neil: vidyut listen to me

Vidyut: shut up...shut the f**k up neil he said looking at him angrily

Avni:bhai..Bhai  I...she said sobbing but she couldnt continue as vidyut glared at her

Vidyut: you better be quiet avni otherwise it wont be good for you he said glaring at her

Avni flinched with the way vidyut spoke to her and how he addressed her with her  name as he always has called her kiddo...she has always been his kiddo
