Sheetal came back to present and looked at avni

Sheetal:avni u know dd? She said pointing at the frame

Avni:haan we r friends since college days but how do u know him

Sheetal:arien before getting married I stayed in India and dd was my neighbour

Avni:really ?

Sheetal:yes I cant believe he is your friend too

Avni: small world u see.. but didnt u notice his pictures at juhi place.. she almost has all the picture of ours

Sheetal:I was too lost in playing with mishti that I didnt even notice.. avni smiled nodding

Avni:well now u know

Sheetal:where is he though?

Avni:um he had gone out for some work should be back soon.. sheetal nodded 

Sheetal: that's good hope I see him before I go back

Avni:well u r not going back anytime soon so yh 

Sheetal: what she said surprised

Avni : we extended all of your tickets she said

Sheetal:avni... she said smiling shaking her head at her as avni winked

Avni: come on i can do at least that much for u .

Sheetal:ok fine chalo u also get ready I'll go too.

Avni nodded and sat in front of the dressing table.

Neil ,prakash had come back with veer and his dad and all left to go to their respective rooms to get ready

Sheetal: veer how r these earrings

Veer:good he said giving a glance

Sheetal:thanks to avni.. I didnt even have any  matching earrings but she gave me this

Hearing avni name veer looked towards sheetal who was standing in front of the mirror  

Veer:even if sheetal wears avni stuff  she can never be like my avni he thought

Sheetal:veer come on get ready she said brushing her hair and then left to go down 

Meanwhile in avneil bedroom

Neil came out after getting ready

Avni:cant believe that navratri is ending today time went so quick na

Neil:very quick. He said moving towards her and hugged her from the back

Avni:Neil what r u doing move

Neil:what can I do u r just looking even more beautiful today he said nuzzling the crook of her neck tickling her

Avni:ishhh y do u always find a wrong time to romance she said moving his hands away from her waist and turned around  .

Neil: now romance doesn't have a timing right it can happen at any time

Avni:ok Mr romantic Khanna let's go now she said placing her hand around his arm and headed out of the room

As they were coming down avni was running her fingers in Neil hair sorting it out

Veer saw that and looked away. 

As all left to go for navratri.. they soon reached there

As usual the garba session went quick avni was going to the washroom..however when she was walking  she felt as if someone was behind her.. as she turned to look there was nobody .. she looked here and there and continued walking but then the lights went off

Avni:shit.. this light had to go off now she said annoyingly and turned the torch on her phone.. as soon as she did that she felt a hand brush against her back... she instantly turned around using her torch but there was no sign

Veer:someone was missing me today... he said speaking in a different voice which he usually uses whenever he speak as the stalker

Avni eyes widened and she turned the other way so that she can see his face using the torch but veer quickly covered her eyes and turned of her torch with his other hand

Avni:leave me she shouted..

Veer: come on u was missing me talking about how I havent called for a long time and now that I'm here u r telling me to leave u... not done avni

Avni:avni stepped on his foot so hard that he had to move away.. she quickly turned on her torch again and moved it up but found the space empty in front of her

Avni was breathing fast.. suddenly the lights came back on.. she looked around and ran to the washroom to calm herself down

5 mins later she came out and was heading back when she saw veer walking towards her 

Veer:hey u ok u look disturbed he asked placing his hand on her shoulder ....

As avni felt his hand on her shoulder  it quickly took her back to the time the stalker always touched her be it at the car park  when she was  going shopping with riya and   juhi and even now it felt the same

Avni took a step back while veer noticed that

Avni:uh yh I'm ok she said ..

Neil:avni?

Veer and avni turned around to see Neil...avni walked past veer  and hugged neil 

Neil:what happened u took long

Avni:the lights went of so stayed back .... got scared for a second ...she said

Neil:u should have called me I would have came

Avni looked at veer while still staying in Neil's embrace... something was not right now and she could tell..

Veer smiled at her while she smiled back slowly

As all went home after that avni was in the washroom

Avni:, something is odd about veer... when he placed his hand on my shoulder i remembered the stalkers touch... whenever i would feel the stalkers presence veer would appear after that... at night I also felt him talking to Monica... then whatever happened at the cafe.... i cant be mistaken to see her and I even have proof for that... there is something for sure..even that day I thought Neil took my saree out when he didnt... however I cant accuse veer  like that I dont have  solid proof..

Neil:haan dd ...ok yes I'll see u tomorrow he said ... avni came out of the washroom when she heard Neil say that

Avni:dd is back?

Neil:haan I thought of meeting him...avni nodded 

The next Morning ..avni woke up and found Neil sleeping next to her with his hands resting on his stomach...she smiled and caressed his cheeks and kissed him on the forehead

Neil smiled and slowly opened his eyes

Avni:u was awake ?

Neil:hmm I thought let me stay close to u until u wake up .

Avni:u should have woken me up

Neil :if I did then I wouldn't get more time to see u

Avni: I see... well now I have to get ready.. do u know how much work i have today she said getting up and went to freshen up as she was walking she turned around to see Neil hugging her pillow and blew a flying kiss at her making her laugh.

5 mins later

Neil:avni I'm going for a jog okay he said coming near the washroom door

Avni:ok she said  while washing her hair.. Neil left after  he heard her response...

After some time avni was drying her hair and put on her robe when she heard something fall outside..

Avni: seems like Neil is back ... she opened the door and came out to see veer near the dressing table

Veer who was walking past avneil room heard Neil say he was going for a jog... as he saw Neil leave he entered the room as he heard the shower tap on

He came in to take out a saree but then left it thinking he will actually get a new one for her and tell sheetal to give it by giving some excuse ... he walked over to the dressing table and smelled her perfume and then placed the bottle down... but by mistake the perfume bottle fell making a sound...as he picked up the perfume bottle and placed it back he saw avni looking at him questionably

Avni:veer what r u doing over here she said noticing him near the dressing table 

Veer:actually I came to see if Neil was here but didnt find him..

Avni:, did u need anything as I heard something drop

Veer:, no nothing I was actually going back out when I saw the perfume bottle.. I thought to check the brand so that I can get one for sheetal but as I placed the bottle back it dropped  he said

Avni:umm ok.

Veer:sorry I dirstubed u he said but from inside he was trying to control himself seen how hot she looked with her wet hair and a bathrobe on

Veer walked out and as he was walking away avni quickly closed the door and locked it

Avni turned around and saw how two of her saree sticking out of the wardrobe as if someone closed it in a rush or didnt look properly before closing it... she knows she never closed the cupboard like that and Neil wouldn't go through her side of the wardrobe like that to get his  tracksuit... her mind flashed veer image in been in the room

Neil later on went to meet dd... as avni was in the kitchen she felt a hand come around her waist and hug her from the back making her uncomfortable while her eyes widneded

Veer:I missed u so much do u know that .

Avni turned around pushing veer away while veer pretended to be shocked.

Veeer:I'm sorry I thought it was sheetal he said acting as if he didnt know it was her

Avni:no not sheetal it's me..

Veer:I'm sorry avni

Avni:next time please check before doing something like this again... she said leaving the kitchen while veer smirked

Veer:y would I miss a chance to be close to u 

Avni went to her room and sat down annoyingly...she recalled veer hand on her stomach.. 

Avni:how can he not recognise that it was me and not  sheetal

Avni remembered how sheetal said veer isn't ready for anything like this and how she always craves to touch him like that but just get happy by hugging him.

Avni:, I dont know what to do... veer is making me doubtful now but how do I find out....suddenly avni got an idea  .

An hour later near the lawn...veer was sitting doing some work on his laptop when he heard avni speak 

Avni:haan Neil I'm coming...dont worry I wont tell anyone...

.....

Avni:yes yes I know how romantic your surprises r

.......

Avni:Neil stop it ok...u r so naughty now cut the call I'm coming

....

Avni:haan haan dont worry I wont  tell anyone..otherwise i know how much they would tease us ok... now end the call bye love u

Avni turned to see veer sitting in the lawn

Avni:veer I'm actually sorry for my behaviour for earlier on.. I was actually angry at Neil and took it out on u

Veer:its fine avni..

Veer:u going anywhere

Avni:, me um yh going to see a friend...veer acted like he believed her and didnt hear her speak on the phone

Veer; ok have fun

Avni:that I will.. ok I'm getting late need to leave

Veet:avni clearly said Neil.. so y did she lie to me saying she is going to meet a friend and also said to Neil she wont tell anyone...

Veer watched avni's car leave and quickly got in his car following her..

He made sure to keep  distance between their car ... after 20 mins or so avni stopped the car at a farmhouse and got out.. she went in...veer stopped the car outside the farm house and saw avni's car there... he walked in sneakingly making sure not to get caught.

He walked into the farmhouse and was walking slowly making sure to not let them know he is there.. he looked into the hall and found it empty... and started to walk towards a bedroom where the door was open but nobody was there ...as he came back into the hall he saw there was a room on the right hand side and was about to go there but stopped when he heard footsteps behind him

Veer slowly turned around and saw avni watching him seriously.

Avni:, what r u doing over here veer.

Veer looked at avni ... for the first time he didnt know what to answer

Avni:oh let me guess u must have followed because u heard me speak to Neil correct?... but y did u follow because it had nothing to do with u.. tbh I thought the stalker would follow me and end up here... but u came here... wait let me guess of course the stalker is here because it's none other than u right.

Veer looked at avni seriously and then smirked

Veer:chalo at least I dont have to act in front of u now.. but i must say u r smart enough to find out.

Avni:what did u think that u will continue playing your dirty tricks and nobody would get to know about it.... veer my doubt started on u few days back... especially seen u and Monica together at navratri but I ignored it.. however your actions kept making me doubt u... then I heard u say Monica name at the Middle of the night when u were on the phone.. but u made it look like I misheard and I still left it however when ever u was near me I would always get the feeling when the stalker would be there but then u was the stalker so of course I would feel that way.. then when u lied saying u was meeting a friend at the cafe.. I knew I saw Monica but u made it look like i probably mistook someone else as Monica.. well that could be possible but then  what was Monica driving licence doing in the washroom she said .

Flashback

As monica was taking her scarf and goggles out she by accident dropped her driving license...

Avni walked into the washroom 10mins later and was washing her hand when she noticed something on the floor and picked it up

Avni:Monica driving license.. that means she was here ?.. then y did veer lie ?

End of flashback

Avni:I dont know how she dropped it but I'm glad I found it however all my mind kept thinking as to what connection u both had . after that what u did in navratri last night I wanted to slap u but then I wasnt sure if the stalker was u veer... but when the lights came back on my mind would think as to y would u always be there when I would feel the stalker presence and on top of that your lie of not meeting Monica... but this morning u in my bedroom and then what u did in the kitchen I had to confirm my doubt.. and that's y I pretended that I was speaking to Neil so that if u was the stalker u would follow me and that's what u did veer malhotra.

Veer:wow u actually figured everything out.. see this is y we r perfect together...

Avni shook her head disgustingly at veer

Avni:u should be ashamed.. sheetal loves u so much and u r doing this... Neil is your brother and I'm his wife u should be disgusted that u r looking at your brother wife this way..

Veer: so?. that not my problem if she loves me because I dont.. I love u

Avni:no u dont ...u r obsessed. ..what u call isnt love but obsession veer. ..

Veer:rubbish do u know I have always had my eyes on u before that Neil even asked u out...

Avni:look

Veer:no u listen do u know I had come to India for holiday.. I was going to surprise Neil and came to his college..but then my eyes landed on u..and u took my heart away in the first go .... every day I would watch u secretly without getting caught.. I would tell Neil I'm going out but then I would be there at college waiting for u... when i decided to actually come in front of u ...neil decides to ask u out and what did u do?..u accepted his proposal.. I was angry and didnt want to come infront of u but by not seen u for a week made me crazy and I knew i needed u in my life.. I would sneak into college disguising myself so that I can see u even closer...but then I would see that Neil even more closer to u... so then I had to start my game and that's when I called u when u went on the trip... but u didnt take me seriously and therefore I joined hands with Monica as I somehow got to know she doesn't like u..and thanks to her I was able to separate u from Neil.. but after so many years do u know how I felt when u both came face to face.. and then what happens when I was out of India u both got married...avni just leave Neil.

Avni:u r crazy veer  seriously crazy... and now everyone needs to know your truth  she said about to dial Neil's number

Veer:with what proof?... have u got any proof that I'm the stalker.. mine and the stalkers voice doesn't match... or does it...he said the last bit by speaking in the stalker voice ..

Avni eyes widened

Avni:that's y we couldnt figure out your voice whenever u would speak and then u calling as Neil that day

Veer:absolutely... see avni u will have to come to me some day.. I will separate u from Neil by hook or by crook

Avni glared at veer she walked towards him and slapped him

veer placed his hand on his check and looked at avni angrily

While avni looked at him angrily but at the same time she was trying to show him she isnt scared

Avni: I dont have proof but I will get it veer.. dont think u have won.. your truth will come out in front of everyone and that's a fact.

Veer: looks like u dont care about your loved ones

Avni:well get one thing straight if u harm my loved ones I'll harm myself.. If I can fake my accident and actually make a real cut on my forehead to stop Neil from marrying me so that he and my family is safe.. then I can harm my self in any other way

Veer:u wont do that

Avni:I wont if u dont harm my loved ones.. dont think u have won veer.. I may be walking away from here without any proof against u but at least I got to know your real face and just like how I got to know even the others will

Veer:we will see

Avni:we will and dont worry about Monica I'll see her in my own way.. she said turning around and left from there

Veer took a vase and threw it and recalled what avni said about harming herself if He tried to do anything with the others 

Avni got in the car... tears welled up in her eyes she was literally shivering ...only she knew how she stayed inside facing veer.

Avni: I need to get proof of veer but how.. i cant even tell anyone otherwise they will think I'm doubting veer  unnecessarily because he is Neil's cousin...think avni think.. although I know he wont harm anyone as i said if he does then I'll harm myself ..but he wont sit quite and will do something 

Veer:avni avni avni now I will get u anyhow.. u didnt do the right thing he said To himself

Avni reached home lost in thoughts.. when she saw Neil was back but even dd was there.

Dd:avuuu he said getting up to hug her..

Avni:finally u r back she said smiling slightly

Dd:haan but where did u go

Avni:i went out for a bit

Neil:the body guard said u refused to take him with u he said looking at her seriously

Avni:I actually wanted to go alone Neil.

Neil:avni do u know how dangerous it was 

Veer:arien dont shout at her Neil I went with her as she refused to take the body guard she was even saying no to me and when i said I'll call Neil up if she decides to go alone  that's when she agreed. He said walking in...while avni glared at him

Sheetal:really but where did u go

Avni:actually sheetal veer wanted to buy u a gift so I was showing him some stores but then he didnt like anything so we came back

Sheetal:veer that's so sweet of u but no worries

Avni:haan maybe u should go with him next time and see what u like

Veer:by the way who is he.. he said pretending to ask about dd

Sheetal:he is dd ...avni and Neil's friend but he also was my neighbrour and friend when I was in India 

Veer:hi I'm veer

Dd:I'm dd a detective 

Veer:oh nice... dd smiled

Avni:we r glad to have u back though dd.

Dd: same here avuuu

Avni moved and sat next to Neil wrapping her hand around his arm while veers jaw tightened..

Dd: chalo I'll leave and haan Neil birthday party is a must ok he said

Neil:of course yaar .

Avni:but y r u leaving now stay back

DD:oh I would love to but have too much work at the office... but haan party defo ok 

As dd left

Sheetal:tomorrow is going to be fun after all it's your birthday Neil  

Avni:haan maa and bebe actually made the party list and invited all the guest

Sheetal:haan I saw them working on it 

Avni:I'm going  to see which cake they have ordered

Neil:u have interest in the cake more than the soon to be birthday boy

Avni:of course after all I see cake sometimes while I see u every single day she said teasingly.. she walked past veer Ignirong him completely 

Neil was about to turn to veer but veer walked into his room angrily 

Later on in the evening  Neil came to avni and sat on the floor in front of her while she massaged his hair

Neil:so what's the plan for tomorrow?

Avni:nothing special will be busy with your birthday arrangements what else.

Neil: and my gift

Avni:I havent thought of it she said lieing

Neil :yaar at least give me a hint

Avni: Neil when I havent thought about it how can I give u a hint ...but dont worry I'll think of something she said smiling .

Neil closed his eyes enjoying the massage that avni was giving

Later on after dinner all retired to their room 

Avni made sure to get the arrangements done for what she has planned for Neil separately .

Avni:tommrow I may disappoint  u a little with what I do but I'm sure when u get to know your surprise that disappointment  will disappear...tomorrow avni will surrender herself to Neil with all her heart so that he can completely mark her as his..she thought to herself and blushed slightly.. she looked at Neil who was sleeping but in real he wasnt as he was waiting for it to be 12am

Avni closed her eyes facing the other way.. 30 mins later they heard the wall clock make sound indicating its 12am.. Neil kept his eyes closed thinking avni will wake him up and wish him

He waited for 5 mins but nothing was happening... he slowly opened his eyes and looked at avni facing the other way sleeping....he got up and peeked over to see her eyes closed

Neil:here I thought she will wish me but no she is sleeping..she must be tired.. she will probably wish me tomorrow morning he whispered  and smiled

Avni smiled hearing Neil say that and made sure not to laugh 

Around 8am in the morning Neil woke up and looked around to see no sign of avni.

Neil:where did she go... and she didnt even wake me up today... Neil quickly got ready and as he came out he saw avni arranging the bed

Neil:morning avni.

Avni:morning Neil she said smiling at him and then turned around to sort the bed .. while trying to control her laughter

Neil frowned and looked at her before he could get to her kabir came and wished him

Kabir:Neil bro happy birthday he said hugging him.

Neil :thanks he said hugging kabir while avni turned towards them

Avni:come on let's go it's getting late for breakfast she said walking out of the room while kabir followed

Neil: avni didnt even wish me yet .. I mean kabir wished me in front of her and all she talks about is going down for breakfast.

As he reached down all wished him while he was thanking all of them and returning their hugs... when veer was wishing Neil avni looked at veer seriously while coming out of the kitchen

All sat down to have dinner

Prakash:shweta ji all set for the party

Shweta:of course ji

Neil: avni he whispered

Avni:hmm

Neil: u havent wished me yet 

Avni:ohh... happy birthday Neil .. sorry it just got out of my head that I still had to wish u

Neil:no that's. .thats ok .. he said not trying to spoil his mood thinking avni wouldn't do that purposely well the truth was she was doing it on purpose so that she can see that big smile on his face

Avni:sorry neil I know how u r feeling but by tonight u will be more than happy 

Later on as all finished breakfast prakash told Neil that he can stay home today

Neil thought of taking avni out and spending time with her

Neil :wifey

Avni:hmm ahe said taking out her purse  

Neil:let's go out today

Avni:, I would love to but I'm sorry mishti called so I planned to go out with her.. maybe some other time she said and saw how his face dropped

Neil:avni for 1 or 2 hours at least

Avni:I cant Neil I'm sorry but get ready for the party.. she felt bad seen how he looked upset and cupped his cheeks and kissed it

Avni:dont feel low it's your birthday today.. I'll try and come early.. he smiled and kissed the back of her palm

Neil :take the guard with u

Avni nodded and gave Neil a quick hug and left 

She soon reached to the mall and got a saree and smiled thinking how their night will be.. she blushed and purchased it and left to get other items and then left  to go to  Neils farmhouse

2 houds later after shopping and all  she reached there she got certain things ready and decided to do the rest after once she come back...she locked the farmhouse and left.

Neil was playing a video game with no interest when he got juhi call

Juhi:happy birthday neil

Neil:thanks juhi

Juhi:vidyut called right?

Neil:yes he and the gang wished me ages ago

Juhi:thats good then

Neil:yup.. u coming to the party right

Juhi:of course we r..anyways where is avni 

Neil:she came to your house to spend time with mishti na

Juhi:no she didnt come here as mishti went for art classes

Neil:but y did avni say that.. u r joking right.

Juhi:no neil I'm not maybe she was joking with u.

Neil:but when I told that we will go out  that's when she told me about her plans with mishti

Juhi:ohhh y dont u ask her then she said frowning and so did Neil

Neil:she is acting odd I mean y did she lie that she is going with mishti.. juhi I'll speak to u later let me call her

He ended the call and was about to call avni when he saw her come

Neil: avni where did u go

Avni:I told u na I went with mishti 

Neil:  but I just spoke to juhi now and she said no such plans were made

Avni in her head:oh no I should have called juhi and told her that if Neil asked she should have said I'm with mishti.. uff avni think of something quickly before Neil doubts.
