Avni tried to swallow the lump that was forming in her throat...she tried to stop the tears from coming out while all clapped at Neil..

Neil gave the mike back to Dd patting his shoulder and sat down next to Avni while looking at her

All the guest were slowly moving to the food section while some were still talking

Avni took this as a chance and got up to leave while someone came up to Neil to speak to him...although he was talking to that person his eyes were looking at avni who was walking away

Neela: bacha where r u going

Avni: I just need some fresh air for a bit... I'll be back

Neela nodded and allowed Avni to go...

Avni had been sitting on the swing for the last five minutes

Flashback

It was rose day and the whole college was celebrating rose day

Avni came to college when a girl came to her and gave a rose to her

Girl: a special rose from the love of your life

Avni smiled thinking of Neil and started walking while looking at the rose

When someone else came up to her and gave another rose

Avni started to look for Neil but couldn't find him

She continued walking where the gang usually sits but this time someone came up to her and gave her a bunch of rose

Avni was smiling widely now thinking what Neil is planning to do ..when a peon came to her and showed the arrow which was drawn on the wall

Avni was confused and followed the arrow which leaded to the hall... when she entered she saw it was dark when a spot light came on her and then she saw Neil sitting on a chair with a guitar

Neil winked at her giving his usual smirk and started to play the guitar while avni stood there smiling at him

Neil started to Sing Ae Dil Hai Mushkil

Tu safar mera
Hai tu hi meri manzil
Tere bina guzara
Ae dil hai mushkil

He was looking at her lovingly while singing

Tu mera khuda
Tu hi duaa mein shaamil

Avni moved ahead with a smile on her face

Mujhe aazmaati hai teri kami

Junoon hai mera

Suddenly Avni saw pictures of her and Neil playing on the projector behind.

She looked at the picture where one was taken when Neil was pacifying her as she was angry on him...making her chuckle...

Mera aasmaan dhoondhe teri zameen
Meri har kami ko hai tu laazmi

Ae dil hai mushkil

Maana ki teri maujoodgi se

Avni turned around looking at Neil while he was smiling seen her expression and continued to sing

Chaahe toh rehna tu be-khabar
Mohtaaj manzil ka toh nahi hai
Ye ek tarfa mera safar, safar
Khoobsurat hai manzil se bhi
Meri har kami ko hai tu laazmi

Neil got up and moved to Avni giving her a huge bouquet of rose and took one of her hands kissing it

Adhura hoke bhi
Hai ishq mera kaamil
Tere bina guzara
Ae dil hai mushkil

Rose petal started to fall from the top Avni looked up to see the gang throwing rose petal

She looked down at Neil who was smiling while she had tears of happiness in her eyes

Neil: come on Avni there shouldn't be any tears today

Avni: these r happy tears  stupid.

Neil: how was the surprise he said wiping her tears

Avni: I loved it and I love u even more she said hugging him. While he hugged her back

Neil: by the way where is my gift

Avni: here is your gift she said taking a rose out for Neil from the bouquet he gave

Neil: not fair i want something else

Avni laughed and got out Neil gift from her bag

Neil: I want something else too

Avni: arien how much more do u want

Neil: u already know he said looking at her lips then at her

Avni got alert she knew the gang was watching from the top

Avni: I just remembered I have to go to the library to return a book she said quickly leaving from there

Neil was about to call out when he looked up as Ali spoke

Ali: come on Neil do u really think she would kiss u in front of all of us

Neil had thought all of them had gone but he was wrong

Neil: what r u all doing over here still

Dd: arien we wanted to see how u both spend your romantic time

Neil: Dd ke bachien when someone disturbs u when u r spending time with your  gf then only u will know how it feels

All laughed seen how Neil got annoyed
While avni who was standing outside heard everything and smiled shyly

End of flashback

Avni laughed slightly remembering that moment.

She suddenly looked to her right causally when she saw Neil standing there

Neil had Seen Avni walk up and was trying to excuse himself and After 5 mins he succeeded

He went up to see where Avni could have gone and thought of checking Avni's room first as he clearly remembered where it was when she had taken him to her room when he acted all drunk...but he found the room empty and thought of checking the terrace

When he reached the terrace he looked around to see her sitting on the swing lost in thoughts while her hair was blowing  due to the wind...however he could see a small faint smile on her face. His heart was beating fast seen her like this and then he saw her turn toward him and saw her looking at him with a surprised look

Avni got up when she saw Neil...right now she wanted to avoid talking to him but the way he was looking at her made her nervous.

She slowly started to walk forward and was about to go past him but he blocked her way ...she looked at him for a sec and tried to move to her right but Neil blocked her way again

Before Avni could move the other direction she moved backwards and her back hit the railings

Neil slowly moved towards Avni and traced her lips while he leaned his body against hers...she tried to push him while her heart was beating fast seen how his face was inching close to hers...

Her hands instantly went to the back holding the railing tightly. While Neil placed his hands on both sides caging her

Neil brushed his lips lightly against Avni while she felt a shiver due to the mere touch of his lips on her...Neil looked at avni and saw her eyes closed while her lips were trembling...he slides one of his hands around her bare waist and pulls her close to his chest

Avni opened her eyes due to the sudden pull while her hands landed on his chest and saw how he was eyeing her lips making her gulp. Before she could react and come to sense ...Neil claimed her lips...at first Avni didn't kiss him back but the magic his hands were doing on her waist and how he was kissing her softly made her get lost in that moment and she reciprocated the kiss

When Neil felt her kissing back he smiled  while deepening the kiss pulling Avni closer making her gasp while her hands moved around his neck .

Both broke the kiss after a while due to lack of oxygen

Avni looked at Neil as he rested his forehead against her but soon reality stuck her and she pushed him away 

Avni: stay away from me she said angrily...she was not angry that Neil kissed her but she was angry that she forgot she has to stay away from Neil and got lost in that moment

Avni was about to go away when Neil pulled her back

Neil: y r u doing this Avni? We both love each other then y r u trying to hide your feelings? he said angrily

Avni: Get one thing straight I don't love u and I am not hiding anything ok she said trying to get away from him but he pulled her back

Neil: really? Then what happened few mins ago? We both kissed each other Avni and u can't deny that

Avni: its natural for any human to get lost...I got carried away she said moving away from him this time and started to walk of when she stopped hearing Neil words

Neil: if u Think by saying all this I will believe u then u r wrong..u can't hide your feelings from me Avni and get one thing in your mind straight ... don't even think I will keep u away from me he said moving to her and held her hands intertwining his fingers with hers

Avni looked at Neil and tried to move her hands from his but instead he tightened his grip

Avni: leave my hands Neil

Neil: I don't want to.

With that he started to take her downstairs while avni was struggling but as they were near the hall walking down the stairs Avni had to stop her struggle as some guest were looking at them

Neil took Avni to the stage and made her sit down still not leaving her hands

Prakash: oh look here comes the couple he said to Ashish while both walked to the stage

Ashish: superstar where did u go?

Avni: I needed some fresh air papa so went to the terrace

Prakash: and u Neil did u go to see if Avni is getting good fresh air he said teasingly .while Neil gave a boyish smile .

Neil: of course dad after all I have to make sure my wifey gets good Fresh air

Prakash and Ashish smiled looking at Neil while avni cheeks turned slightly red when Neil said that

Prakash: already started to call her wife

Neil: she is after all I filled her forehead and tied mangalsutra Around her neck...we r just getting married in front of the world right

Ashish: Neil i must say Avni is lucky
To get a life partner like u and I know u will keep her very happy .

Neil: even I'm happy to have Avni back in my life

Prakash: haan and also she is lucky to have the best in laws she will be just like my daughter he said touching Avni head while smiling at her and Avni returned the smile back.
