Bebe: it will be tiring but fun too however we just have to decide when each functions will be held and where it will be held.

Avni: excuse me said she leaving from the hall and went to her room while Neil looked on and the rest continued talking

The engagement was decided to be held the next day as they only had 4 days before the wedding and decided to call as many guest as they can while those who can't make it to the other function could come in the wedding

Avni had somehow convinced her family that she didn't want any media people around and told her family to ask the khannas if it was ok and they gladly agreed which made Avni be in a little peace however when Neil got to know this he was wondering as to what made Avni want to not have the media around when he thought maybe it was due to the unknown person

Ragini had met up with Shweta and Neela who had filled her in with everything while she was shocked but was happy that avneil r getting married to each other

It was finally the engagement day Juhi was getting ready... however she was thinking about how she can't tell Avni the truth as Vidyut gave his oath .

She left from there early to go to the metha house while ragini and Vidyut went to the khanna house taking mishti with them

Juhi entered the metha mansion ... Neela saw her and remembered neil words that Juhi knows the truth ... she walked towards Juhi and hugged her

Neela : finally u came... now go and see if your friend is ready

Juhi nooded unaware that Neela is also a part of the plan

Juhi : aunty

Neela turned around

Neela : haan beta

Juhi: aunty don't u think Avni should get a little more time I mean I don't think she is ready for marriage yet

Neela: Juhi it would have been different if we had got her engaged but the truth is she is already married as Neil filled her forehead so there is no point in giving her more time..We r just making it official in front of everyone
.. ok... now u go and help Avni get ready

Juhi nodded and left while Neela watched her go

Juhi entered Avni's room to see her putting on her earrings been lost in her own world

Juhi: Avni she said placing her hand on her shoulder

Avni saw juhi in the mirror...she turned around and hugged Juhi

Avni: I'm scared Juhi what if something happens?...if he finds out me and Neil r getting married then....

Juhi: that has been going on in my head too Avni as somehow he always knows what's happening in your life but the good thing is there won't be any media people as u convinced the family right

Avni: I know but the thing I'm confused about is that I haven't received any notes for a while now as the last time I received one was when the reunion planning was going on when Neil came back but after that it just stopped ...she said unaware that Vidyut had got hold of the recent note

Juhi: that's actually strange but if the notes didn't come after that how did Neil find out about it ?

Both were lost but Juhi realised how Vidyut knew she and Avni have been hiding something

Juhi (in her head): did Vidyut find out about the notes?  if he knew then did he tell Neil about it? But how did Vidyut find out ?...she came out of her thinking mode when she heard Avni speak

Avni: but i don't get it ...he would have known by now with what's happening but there is no reaction from the other side which is a good thing but it can't be ignored because if he knows then he will do something she said unaware that the stalker has gone abroad (which he mentioned in the recent note)

Juhi: let's not talk about this

Avni: I don't know what to do ...right now it feels like all the doors r closing on me

Juhi: just don't panic and for once enjoy this day Avni ...u love Neil ...for once forget about the stranger and don't think about what he will do...

Avni: I can't... it will always be in my mind Juhi ...I will have to stay away from Neil no matter what

Finally the khannas had arrived at the metha house for the engagement and both the families hugged each other...Neil sat down on a couch which was decorated and placed on the stage for him and Avni

Few minutes later Riya went to get Avni who was with Juhi and all three came down

Avni had her eyes down all this while but she was able to tell how all were looking at her but the person eyes that she felt on her was Neil... she looked up slightly to see him staring at her and the way he was looking at her made her cheeks red which made her look down instantly

Once she reached down Shweta and Bebe hugged her and then she was taken on the stage where Neil was standing

Neil forwarded his hand for Avni to get on the stage

Avni would have denied but she didn't want to create a scene and placed her hand on top of his while he helped her get on...she was about to move her hands away but Neil didn't loosen his grip and intertwined his fingers with her while avni was trying to remove it but no luck

Shweta: awwww Tillu at least let go of Avni hand right now u can hold it later on. Everyone laughed while Neil smiled and looked at avni who was still looking down.

Neela: shall we start now

All nodded and the rings were bought

Neil held Avni hand and slide the ring on finger while his eyes never left her face...soon it was Avni turn she slowly took the ring and placed it on Neil finger while everyone clapped

Both sat down...Neil leaned towards Avni and whispered

Neil: at least look up now wifey. Are you not getting bored by looking down all this while

Avni felt a tingle when she felt Neil whispering against her ears she moved a little away from him which made him chuckle

Avni: what's so funny she said looking at him now

Neil: u know that no matter how much U try to keep distance I will erase it... y do u even bother he said moving closer to her again...Avni didn't answer and turned to  look at the guests who were talking... While few of her her family members  was taking to Neil... some where busy with the guest

Aman came on the stage

Aman: attention attention everyone so now that finally my Di is not single and she has found someone don't u think that the lovely couple who just got engaged a while ago should dance he said looking at Neil and Avni and saw how Avni glared at him while mouthing a no but he ignored that and continued

Aman: so guys come on let's clap for the lovely couple he said while all cheered and clapped

Neil forwarded his hand and Avni looked at him and then his hand....she placed her hand in his and both got up

The lights went dim while the music bolna mahi bolna (kapoor and sons) played

Neil placed one of his hands on Avni waist while she placed one of her hand on his shoulder while their other hand intertwined together...he slowly
Pulled her closer to him..both were doing slow dance swaying to the music...

Avni was looking everywhere else except Neil while Neil's eyes were fixed on to Avni...he slowly twirled Avni Around and pulled her back to him but this time rested both of his hands on her waist while both her hands landed on his shoulder...she looked at him briefly and then looked away

Neil smiled and was tracing her waist with his thumb when he slowly saw Avni eyes widened which made him smirk and continue with what he was doing... she looked at him and he saw her lips part...his eyes then travelled to her cheeks which were slowly turning red.

Avni: stop...she whispered

Neil: nope he said shaking his head slowly and pulled her even more closer while still tracing her waist with his thumbs  making her clutch his Sherwani around the shoulder tightly

He then turned her around... her back was against his chest and his hands around her stomach while her hands were placed on top of his...both still swaying to the music he rubbed his cheeks against her while she moved her face feeling his stubble which made something inside her tingle

He turned her around again... she looked at him both didn't break the eye lock and continued to stare at each other

All clapped when the song finished and avneil came back to reality

Neil smiled and held Avni's hand while she looked at him and tried to let go but he tightened his grip

Neil: y r u waisting your energy when u know I won't leave your hand

Avni glared at him while he winked at her

Neil: Kya Baath hain wifey a min ago u were dancing with me looking at me so lovingly and now glaring at me

Shweta: Avni Neil now both of u be ready as the photographer will take both of your picture first and then others will start to come and take pictures with u both

Neil nodded

the photographer came... Neil placed his hands around Avni waist while she looked at him... the photographer quickly took that shot and then told Avni to look ahead.

Neil: Wow wifey can't take your eyes of your dashing hubby

Avni: stop calling me your wifey

Neil: y shall I stop u r my wife so i can call u wifey right

Avni: no

Neil: that's your problem I'm going to call u wifey u have to deal with it

They got few more picture clicked when The family started to join them and then slowly their friends

Bebe: u both look so good together I pray that u both stay with each other always

Neil smile widened while avni smiled a little...both sat down on the couch

Dd: ok I know I will probably get smacked now but we r happy that u both r finally together...we have seen their love in college but I guess u all should know how these two met and fell in love...so Neil come on get up and tell us .. Neil and Avni looked at each other

Neil got up and went towards Dd taking the mike from him while placing his hand around Dd shoulder

Neil: ok so we both were doing different courses...I went to different events where I met all my friends including Avni...we all clicked instantly and became friends...however when I saw Avni the first time there was something about her maybe her smile or maybe her eyes but something was pulling me towards her and I knew she also felt for me the same way...three month later i asked her out and she agreed...we were dating for 1 year and half ...but during our second year we fell apart he said looking at avni who looked at him and then looked away he smiled and looked back at the guest and the family members and continued....i won't mention as to what happened but yes after so many years we met and now we r engaged together...again I won't say how we got back together after all there should be some suspense right...all laughed when he said that...both the family looked at each other smiling At Neil...so this is how we met but once thing is for sure I won't leave Avni side no matter what...

Avni tried to swallow the lump that was forming in her throat...she tried to stop the tears from coming out while all clapped at Neil..

Neil gave the mike back to Dd patting his shoulder and sat down next to Avni while looking at her

Precrap: Neil slowly moved towards Avni and traced her lips...she tried to push him while her heart was beating fast seen how his face was inching close to hers
