Ashish was in his cabin looking at a file but without any concentration ...last night when he had got to know Avni was in a relation with Neil who is Prakash son had surprised him but he didn't pay heeds to that as his main concern was Avni and Neela...but now he was not able to get that out of his head... he thought of calling Prakash to talk about this but cancelled the idea.

Prakash had woken up late since he was very tired due to yesterday workload ..Shweta  gave him tea and then sat down next to him

Prakash : what happened Shweta ji

Shweta: actually Prakash ji I wanted to tell u something

Prakash: go ahead y r u hesitating...

Shweta nodded and then started telling him about Neil and also how she and Bebe had gone to the metha house yesterday and asked for Avni hand

Prakash: Avni and Neil were together? I mean it's not a bad thing but I'm just surprised

Shweta: its strange na Neil and Avni were in a relation few years back and here I met Neela ji recently through ragini...and we became friends and u knew Ashish ji since a while due to business work and also became friends with each other...if only our kids were still together then maybe we would have know the methas way before

Prakash: I agree but whatever the decision may be  it won't effect our relation with the methas in any way...Shweta nodded and just hoped for the best

At night

Ragini was playing with mishti while Juhi was getting dinner ready

Vidyut came and Misti ran to him and
Vidyut picked her up and threw her in the air making mishti laugh and then walked over to where ragini was he sat next to her with mishti in his lap

Juhi came to give Vidyut some water and then went back to the kitchen

Vidyut: maa don't u think we should invite everyone for dinner

Raging: everyone as in?

Vidyut: as in the methas , khannas along with Ali and Dd

Ragini: not that I mind but anything special

Vidyut: no it's just that all of us could gather together and have a nice dinner with both the families I mean we haven't done that for a long time .

Ragini: not a bad idea I will talk to Shweta and Neela tommrow

Vidyut smiled and went to his room to change while on the way to his room he texted Neil with a thumbs up emoji ..

Neil smiled as all thanks to vidyut he will get a chance to meet Avni again

Avni reached home and didn't see Neela around ( whenever I write Neela scenes I actually get tears in my eyes as it's still hard to digest she is no more in the show)

Avni: chachi did Maa eat anything?

Hetal turned who was placing the plates on the dining table turned around

Hetal: no Avni we all tried but she hasn't had anything...

Avni sighed and headed upstairs but instead of going to her room she went to Neela room as she knew Neela would be over there

She slowly opened the door to see Neela resting her head against the head bored with eyes closed

Avni went to her and sat next to her on the bed. She looked at Neela who still had her eyes closed

Avni: Maa

Neela. Bacha if u r here thinking u can convince me to change my decision then u r wrong she said still with her eyes closed.

Avni: Maa please stop been stubborn and eat something

Neela opened her eyes and looked at avni

Neela: if I'm been stubborn then what about u? U say u don't want to get married then at least u can get engaged for now it's not like u have to get married straight away

Avni: just because Neil said all of those things u believed him thinking ... but Neela didn't let her complete

Neela: I didn't believe him just like that bacha I believed him because his love for u is clearly visible in his eyes

Avni gulped but she wasn't going to give up

Avni: come down and eat something ...all of this can be discussed later

Neela: no like I said I will only eat and drink something once u agree

Avni: Maa please she said getting a little annoyed

Neela: u r just wasting time bacha go this is my decision she said getting up and went to the washroom

Avni looked at Neela walking away and left from the room angrily going back downstairs

Ashish and ketan who just came back saw Avni walking pass them without saying anything

Ashish: Avni where r u going he shouted... seen her walk towards the main door but without answering she left

Ashish ran out to see Avni getting in the  car driving away he tried to ring her phones but no luck.

Ashish: where did Avni go of like this he said coming back in looking at hetal and dayawanti who were also clueless and then looked towards the stairs to see Neela walking down

Hetal: don't know Ashish bhaiya when she came she asked me if Neela bhabi ate anything and then headed upstairs

Neela: she came to tell me to eat but when I said I won't have anything until she agrees she left... but y r u asking about her

Ashish: because she just left the house angrily and isn't answering my call now

Neela was was thoughtful as to where Avni went as she thought Avni must have gone to her room

She tried calling Avni but still no luck .. they decided to wait for sometime and then try and call Avni and if no luck then they decided to call her friends to see if she was with them

An hour later the telephone ran.. dayawanti went to answer it

Dayawanti : hello .. all of a sudden her expression changed and the phone fell down.. all get alert

Ashish asked dayawanti what happened and who called

Dayawanti: our neighbour  mrs Gupta daughter riddhima who is a doctor and  Avni friend just called

Ashish: what about her

Dayawanti: it's her call she said... she said that...Avni...avni....

Neela: Maa please speak what about Avni u r scaring me

Dayawanti. That Avni met with an  accident and she is at the hospital... some person bought Avni to the hospital as she got an injury on her head  and when riddhima saw her she called us

Neela: mera bacha!! She said tears welling in her eyes

Ketan: we should go there now.

All left to go to the hospital ... ketan Parked the car  Neela quickly got out of the car running not waiting for the rest...Ashish called out to her but no luck when he reached inside he heard Neela asking the nurse at the reception about Avni... both reached to the room followed by the rest few mins

They saw riddhima coming out of the room

Neela: riddhima how is Avni is she ok now ?there is nothing to worry about right? Y r u quiet answer? she said losing her patience

Ashish: Neela ...Neela calm down he said turning her to face him

Neela : what do u mean calm down our daughter met with an accident.

Riddhima: aunty relax Avni is ok she got an injury on her head due to that she fainted but there is nothing to worry about in fact we should thank that person who bought her here on time

Neela prayed in silence thanking god

Ashish: where is that person who saved Avni

Riddhima: right behind u she said  showng a lady who sat on a seat.. riddhima took them to that lady

Riddhima: ma'am this is that girl parents who u saved

Neela: thank u for brining my daughter to the hospital

Lady: there is nothing to thank me it way my responsibility as a human being... but if u don't mind can I tell u something

Neela: ji sure?

Lady: when I was brining your daughter to the hospital she kept mumbling please don't force me to get married... eat something please.... I don't want to get married

Neela looked at the lady with her eyes widening. Ashish placed his hand on her shoulders

Lady: since u r here I will leave now as I was waiting for her family to arrive

Dayawanti: can we meet avni now

Riddhima: sure although she is unconcisious but u all still can one by one .. everyone went to see Avni and Neela and Ashish went last

Neela sat on the chair  besides the bed  while Ashish kneeled besides Neela.

Neela held Avni hand and looked at her face to see a bandage on her forehead

Neela. I'm sorry bacha because of me u r in this state... what can I do bacha I'm your Maa I really want to see my kids getting married but if my descision bothered U this much that it caused your accident then fine I lost... just wake up once please I won't ever tell u to get married without your own wish

Ashish: did u hear that superstar now come on like a good girl wake up soon so we can take u home.. otherwise look at your Mum she will continue to cry like this..understood.

Neela and Ashish went back outside giving one final look to Avni

Ketan: bhai I informed Aman and Riya they were about to come here but I told them not to worry...

Ashish: u did the right thing... since Avni is ok. I think it's best if u all go home me and Neela will be here

Dayawanti: but?

Ashish: Maa please

Ketan: bhai if U need anything let me know and I will send the driver back with the car

Ashish nooded while ketan hetal and dayawanti left

Meanwhile at the metha house Riya who got to know about  Avni accident tried to call Ali but in vain so she called Juhi and told her that Avni met with a small accident but is ok now

Juhi who ends the call turned around when she heard Vidyut voice

Vidyut. Who was it Juhi

Juhi: Riya... she said Avni met with an accident

Vidyut: WHAT?... how did that happen and...before he could continue Juhi calmed him

Juhi. Calm down Vidyut.. Riya said she just got a small injury on her head nothing serious. She said cupping Vidyut face

Vidyut: but she is our friend and is hurt

Juhi: I agree but we will go tomorrow and see her .. she probably needs rest now...
Vidyut nodded

Meanwhile at the hospital Neela and Ashish were waiting outside Avni room

Riddhima who was going to check on Avni saw them ... she somehow convinced  them to take a break and go to the canteen... riddhima entered the room to see Avni laying on the bed with eyes closed

Riddhima: I have sent your parents to the canteen u can open your eyes now

Avni opened her eyes and turned her face sideways and smiled at riddhima.

She quickly got of the bed and hugged her tightly

Avni: thank u so much for helping me riddhu

Riddhima: anything for u but do u know how worried your family looked

Avni: I know but I didn't find any other way to change Maa decision... if u hadn't call today then I would have never got this idea

Riddhima shook her head while
Avni smiled at her

Flashback
After Vidyut left Avni cabin she was thinking of ways to convince Neela to change her decision but suddenly she came out of her thinking mode when she recieved a call from riddhima

(Riddhima is Avni friend and also the neighbour of the methas however she knows nothing about Avni past)

Avni: hey. She said in a unusual tone

Riddhima: what is this Avni i finally got to speak to u after my hectic Schedule  and this is how u greet me she said dramatically 

Avni: sorry just a little busy

Riddhima: any problem?

Avni: no actually no prob... suddenly avni stopped when something started to cook in her head

Riddhima: what happened ? She asked when she noticed Avni going silent

Avni: riddhima I need your help

Riddhima: for what she said asking suspiciously

Avni: the thing is mum wants me to get married and that also to a guy who happpene to be... be my ...my ex she said closing her eyes as she never revealed to riddhima about Neil or anything

Riddhima was silent for some time and Avni was just waiting for her to respond

Riddhima: YOUR EX?..U HAD A BF AND U NEVER TOLD ME!

Avni closed her eyes as she expected this type of reaction

Avni: I'm sorry for that u can moan to me later on now please help me I don't want to get married and Maa has decided she won't eat or drink anything until I don't say yes

Riddhima: fine I will get u back for hiding that to me.. and tell me how do u need my help

Avni: well I'm going to go home and try and convince maaa and if she doesn't agree then I will fake my accident and u will call my family up and let them know that I got a small injury on my head and, riddhima didnt let her complete

Riddhima: Avni u know that is hard...if my senior finds out that I faked a case then I will be in so much trouble and even if I do that much what if your parents ask who bought u to the hospital.

Avni: don't worry about that u won't get into trouble... I will make sure that I have a small injury on my head

Riddhima: have u lost it?..u r going to hurt yourself so that aunty gets convinced this is not done Avni

Avni: please riddhima as a friend please she said pleadingly for our friendship sake please

Riddhima: but?

Avni: if u love Armaan U will agree

Riddhima: I so hate u for this ...fine I will help u

Avni: great now we just need someone who could say that they bought me to  the hospital

Riddhima: dw I have a nurse who can help me with that and u r lucky one of my strict senior and the dean is not in today

Avni: that is another good thing...so u will tell your nurse that she should tell Maa that I was mumbling in my unconscious state saying please don't force me to get married... eat something please.... I don't want to get married

Riddhima: what r u making me do Avni.
But since u r my friend and of course I love armaan then I can do that much

Avni: thanks baby I will call u once I will leave to come to hospital bye

Riddhima: bye

Avni placed her phone back on the table and said to herself: I have to do this to stay away from Neil...even if it means to hurt my self.

End of flashback

Riddhima: thank god everything went according to the plan do u know how worried I was by lying to your family

Avni: thank u so much riddhima because of u my plan worked.... even though I had my eyes closed but when Maa was speaking I felt the pain in her voice

Riddhima: I can't believe just so that I don't have to get married u made this whole accident plan.

Avni: like I said I couldn't think of anything else and happy that nobody doubted anything

Riddhima: but u actually injured yourself a little in the head does it hurt?

Avni: no riddhima chill I'm fine

Suddenly Avni saw the door knob turn she quickly sat on the bed pretending to hold her forehead while riddhima pretended to check on her

Neela walked in looking at avni... while avni was not able to figure out Neela expression and was hoping she had not heard anything

neela: how r u bacha? She said sitting next to Avni on the bed and gave a small smile

Avni: feeling ok

Neela: I'm sorry this happened because of me I promise to make it up to u.. that lady who saved u told me what u were mumbling when u were unconscious... I would never want to see u in this state bacha .. Avni felt a little guilty

Avni: Maa please don't say sorry and I hope u ate something

Neela: of course Ashish made me eat in the canteen... by the way riddhima can we take Avni home now

Riddhima: ji aunty

Neela: great come bacha

Avni: where is papa

Neela: I had told him to wait in the canteen

Neela held Avni hand and took her to Ashish

Avni was bought home however Neela was silent through out the whole drive and Avni noticed that.. when Ashish asked Neela as to what happened she just said she is feeling tired

Any guesses as to y Neela is behaving like that and what do u think will happen?
