Neela: bacha what's wrong...something seems to be bothering u she said as she stayed back along with shweta

Avni: maa woh neil... he didnt day anything after and left 

Shweta: avni u want to go to neil ?

Avni: haan maa

Shweta: then go to him

Avni: but I dont know where he must have gone

Shweta: I know where he is she said

Neela: where ?

Shweta: at his condo

Avni looked on

Avni:I'll go once meeting the doctor

Neela:avni...bacha u go and see neil... me and shweta will see the doctor and ask about the patient and do our best to help her

avni nodded and went to meet neil

Meanwhile at the condo neil reached inside opening the door harshly and took some water out and gulped it down.

Just thinking about avni scared the hell out of him

He recalled how juhi had a car accident right in front of his eyes and how her face was completely ruined...and getting the same type of  news again scared the hell out of him he had faith that somewhere that patient wasnt avni but his mind wasnt allowing him to follow his heart him due to whatever had happened in the past...tears streamed down his face as that small moment of his life today bought a fear and he very well knows now that the place he has for avni in his life is way bigger than he had for juhi....as he thought about this he placed his hand against the wall and leaned his forehead onto it.

Avni: neil she said as she reached there to see the door open

Neil opened his eyes hearing avni's voice he knew it wasnt his imagination as he was able to feel her presence

Avni watched neil...as he still had his back facing towards hers.

Neil eyes were having mixed emotion...his hand that was against the wall rolled into a tight fist .

Avni slowly walked towards him and placed her hand on his shoulder...however before she can say anything Neil moved away from her going to the kitchen area and started to search the fridge for something even he didnt know

Avni: neil? What happened ? She said walking towards him but before she can get to him neil closed the fridge door with a bang and went towards the fruits tray that was kept on the table and sat down grabbing an apple and knife completely ignoring to look at avni

Avni frowned...she came and sat next to neil  as he was cutting the apple in any shape

Avni: Neil I'm asking you something? Y did you leave without without speaking? And y are you not answering me as if I dont exist she said also noticing how he was cutting the apple clearly showing his anger

But instead of answering neil grabbed the other apple and started to cut it randomly too when suddenly his cut himself

As neil hissed avni noticed the blood on his finger

Avni: are you mad Neil? Cant you cut properly ? Look how much blood is coming out she said shouting at him

Avni quickly took a tissue paper from the table and grabbed his hands but before she can place it on his finger neil moved his hands away and got up to walk towards the washroom..while avni shook her head and got up too

Avni: neil stop behaving like a child she said walking behind him and got hold of his arm but within sec neil grabbed her arms and moved her towards the wall making her back hit against it while he held her arms tightly

Avni looked at neil and then at his finger covered in blood

Avni: neil let me aid your wound please she said hoping he would understand.

Neil: y do you care ?

Avni: neil?

Neil: worried, or hurt be it physically or mentally y do you care avni he said little loudly

Avni: what do you mean ? You know how much I care right

Neil: really ? If that was the case couldnt you inform us and go

Avni: neil I but she couldnt continue as neil spoke

Neil: chup! Do you know how worried we all were when we didnt find you at home ?...everyone was thinking where did you go all of a sudden and on top of that you didnt answer your phone !...at the hospital we all were getting weird thoughts, though  from heart we knew that was not you but still we were scared because there was not any sort of contact from you at all ...but no y would you worry?.. that is our problem na...you just do what you want to do and we will continue to worry about you and look for you....what if something had happened to you he said looking at her with anger and concern while avni looked at neil as she stood in the same place

Neil let go of avni and sat on the couch as he collapsed his hands together...he felt tears brimming in his eyes

Neil: you remember avni during holi time when I had bhang I told you about juhi he said this time with his tone softer

Avni nodded at neil when he looked at her

Neil: when we got to know about someome meeting with an accident and your belongings found next to it...for a sec...for a sec it actually felt like destiny was going to play the same game with me...for a sec I felt my heartbeat stop he said in a shaky voice...

avni looked at Neil with tears in her eyes

Neil: when we reached to the hospital every second my heart beat was getting faster thinking what if I'm wrong and that was you...seen that lady having bandage all over her face took me back to that time when juhi had an accident and her face was totally damaged....I knew that the lady wasnt you but somewhere on the back of my mind I kept thinking what if it was because of you not answering your phone and your belongings found too...it felt like I was dying every sec and my only hope was that the doctor tells us it's not you...avni I'm scared...I'm scared to lose you...I had controlled myself when I had lost juhi but I cant afford to lose you...without avni neil will be incomplete..destiny gave me another chance to have someone in my life...what I feel for you I didn't even feel that for juhi...and I know if something ever happens to you then neil wont be able to survive he said allowing the tears to roll down his cheeks as he looked into space

Avni went towards neil and kneeled in front of him hugging him...after few secs she felt him bury his face in the crook of her neck able to feel her skin wet due to his tears and his hand moved behind her back as he reciprocated the hug...after few secs she broke the hug and collapsed her hands with his

Avni: neil....im sorry...i really am...I had no such intentions to make you or anyone else worried....you was sleeping at that time and whatever happened last night had upset everyone so I just wanted to cheer up everyone...I didn't know stuff like this was going to happen and I didnt realise how my phone was on silent mode and at that time when I had called dd I hadnt seen any of your calls as I just wanted to save that lady somehow who ended up saving my life otherwise I...but she couldnt continue as Neil suddenly pulled her in for a hug

Avni closed her eyes as tears rolled down her cheek, her hands moving to Neil's back as he hugged her tightly.

After few secs he broke the hug and cupped her cheeks, wiping her tears away

Neil: dont say anything more...just dont....you are my life avni... if I'm breathing then that is because of you...we both had faced something in the past and it was destiny that bought us together...you are the key to my heart and will always be.  You have made me realise the true value of love and I'm not going to allow anyone to take you away from me be it destiny itself he said

Avni smiled as she looked at him.

Avni: neil you know if few years back someone would have told me that in future I would be sitting here and talking to you like this then I wouldn't have believed  one single bit of it... in fact I would have made sure that they get their brain checked for even saying such thing as back then love was gone from my life...yes I loved my family but that was it the avni who use to dream about prince charming and all was dead but you made her come alive again ...you made me believe in love again and made me fall in love with you...you made me realise how to love and you still are making me learn she said with a smile on her face getting hold of his hands and intertwined their fingers

Neil pecked the tip of her nose making avni close her eyes with a smile on her face

Avni: acha ab chalo everything is cleared...so now can I please get up otherwise if we continue talking I probably have to sit on my knees the whole day just for you and my knees would pain like hell  she said

Neil: acha...well that is good na as you should take some pain for scaring the hell out of all of us he said pulling her cheeks

Avni:  Neill stop she said moving his hand away and rubbed her cheeks

Neil: neilll stop he said mimicking her

Avni slapped Neil playfully on the arm and got up

Avni: I'm actually hungry and I know you also didnt have anything to eat so I'll make something for us... I hope you still have food over here she said jokingly

Neil: haan there should be stuff in the fridge and the cupboard he said ....avni looked at neil surprisingly

Avni: y ??? I mean you dont stay here anymore so why do you have food ? Unless if someone else is staying here she said  looking at him curiously

Neil: haan I dont but sometimes I come here during free time as the police station is near from here and we use my condo when there has to be any sort of important discussions regarding certain cases

Avni : I see she said walking to the kitchen area while Neil stayed seated in his place

Avni: wasien when did you get this condo?

Neil:when I had become an inspector...i would actually stay here more often and visit home more frequently

Avni: and now it's the other way round she said smiling at him as she took some milk out from the fridge

Neil smiled when he received a call from shweta

Neil:haan mom?

Shweta: tillu u ok? Has avni reached there ?

Neil: haan mom I'm ok now and avni is here she is making food for us he said speaking to shweta as he watched avni prepare the food.

Shweta: ok beta I'll leave you two alone see you later she said hanging up after neil said bye

Neil placed his phone on the table and looked at avni who was making breakfast for them

Neil (in his head) so much changed in these few month... i had never imagined that the girl who i would argue with everytime and annoy would make me fall in love with her...when we had got married we both had decided to end it mutually after some time but look at the beautiful game that destiny had played on us instead of parting ways we both were slowly falling in love with each other. I never imagined that I would give love a chance avni but you made me fall in love with you..i never felt this for juhi the way I feel for you. It's not like i regret been in juhi no...she was part of my life and we had so many good moments with each other but with you I feel at peace.... I want to live them and I will make sure to enjoy and live all the moments and give you all the love I have and that is a promise he said in his head as he continued watching avni

Avni casually looked up as she finished making the sandwich and saw neil look at her...she waved her hands at him making him come out of his thoughts and gestured with her hand *what*...neil smiled and shook his head

Avni smiled and placed the toasted sandwich plate and two cup of nice and hot coffee on the tray and headed towards neil.

Avni: here you go officer she said sitting next to him.

Neil took a sip of the coffee and loved the taste of the coffee as it touched his tounge

Neil: coffee is amazing avni he said

Avni: me and ali didnt make chamko cafe popular like that she said with a big smile as she forwarded him the toasted sandwich

Neil smiled and took a slice but instead of eating it first he forwarded it towards avni and gestured her to take a bite

Avni held Neil's wrist as she took a bite of his slice and forwarded it towards his mouth

Avni: now you eat she said grabbing a slice of hers

Neil: wont you feed me

Avni: no eat yourself

Neil: how unromantic he said

Avni chuckled

Avni: when there is food dont expect anything from me

Neil took a bite of his toast when he thought of something

Neil: means I can except something after we finished eating he said leaning towards her...

Avni was about to take a sip of her coffee but stopped when she heard what neil said and looked at him

Avni: not at alll shaadi se pehle all this isnt allowed she said moving him away with a small smile playing on her lips

Neil: well as far as I know we are already married he said again leaning towards her and as he got closer  avni got up straight away making him fall flat on the couch

Neil looked at avni to see her trying to control her laugh...he put his toast down and stood up
