Kia and akash bought the cake while Neil went to avni.. both looked at each other for a sec.. as a tear was about to roll down her cheeks he wiped it and shook his head... he then held her hands while avni looked at their interiwned hand and then back at him

Neil:time to cut the cake wifey he said taking her where Kia and akash stood.

As avni neared she was again surprised and touched... the cake had  pictures of her with each family member  but the picture that was in enlarged in the middle was of ayesha and little avni...she looked At Neil who gestured her to cut the cake

Everyone started to sing happy birthday while she made a wish and blew the candle while cutting the cake ..as she took the first piece she turned to Neil and fed him while he made her take a bite..avni then fed the others while they made sure she had few bites too 

Ali:now how  can it be there is a party and the birthday girl doesnt dance

Avni eyes widened

Avni:no no r u mad

Bebe:avni come on

Avni: nahi bebe please

Ashish: come on avni

Dayawanti:haan avni just a small dance.

All were requesting avni dance when Neil stood in front of her

Neil:may I have the pleasure to dance with the birthday girl he said forwarding his hand

Avni looked at him while the family had a big smile playing on their face

Heamant:avni beta now u cant say no

Avni looked at heamant and then at Neil who had a charming smile playing on his face ...she slowly placed her hand in his while he smiled even more and took her in the middle where the rest of the lights turned off and the spot light turned on  focusing on them

Neil: I love u avni he said so that only she can hear

Avni looked at Neil as her cheeks heated up

Neil: come on... now say it that u love me to...avni looked at him she wondered how did he find out when she didn't even mention it to anyone

Avni:and what made u think that

Neil:because I know u do he said pulling her a little closer as the music slowly started.

Dil diyan gallan started to play (there r scenes playing read the bold bits under the lyrics) ...both were lost looking into each others eyes not breaking the eye lock

He raised his eyebrows seen her not look away while she came out of her thinking mode

Neil twirled her around twice and then pulled her back with her back against chest and his hands holding her hands

They moved slowly to the music while avni turned her face sideways looking at Neil...the family smiled seen avneil like this

Neil kissed avni on the forehead while she closed her eyes and he was able to feel her hand grip the material of his clothe around his shoulder

He looked at avni while she opened her eyes and then he moved and rested his forehead against her looking at her while she looked down as they danced slowly to the music

He moved his forehead away and twirled her around few times while Ali and akash also did the same to riya and Kia as the song finished all of them were in a dip position while everyone clapped

Avni moved away standing beside Neil and smiled at all who were clapping for them 

as guests started to move towards towards the food section

Neil:come he said holding avnis band

Avni:where ?

Neil:u dont want the answers to your question?

Avni nodded and followed Neil while he gestured the family who understood.

Neil opened the car door for avni as she sat down on the passenger seat... and as he let go of her hand she already started to miss his warmth

Neil sat in the driver seat and drove away

Avni:is ir alright to leave the party like that

Neil:I'm sure it is ...our family is there na to handle it  he said

Avni:y couldn't u just answer my questions over there Neil.

Neil:because I wanted u to enjoy your bday.. and u Mrs question mark ask too many questions

Avni:how am I MRS question mark she said raising her eyebrows

Neil:well u call me question mark so been my wifey u would be Mrs question Mark he said with his charming smiled making her heart flutter

Avni looked out the window with a small smile playing on her face while Neil looked at her now and then

Soon they reached outside the Khanna mansion

As they got out avni recalled how she had left once the divorce papers had come

Neil as if knowing what was going in her head held her hand making her look at him

Neil:this house was and will always be yours wifey come he said taking her in holding her hand ..

As they entered inside

Neil:avni just give me a min I'll be back ok

Avni:where r u going

Neil:no where just here Give me a min ok

Avni nodded

She smiled looking around even though it hadn't been many days she still missed the Khanna Mansion and now it felt like she was back home

She was about to take a step towards the sofa when suddenly the lights went off

Avni:what happened to the lights suddenly on top of that God knows what Neil went to do....neil...neil r u there she spoke loudly but didnt get any respose

As she took few steps ...she then stopped

Avni: gosh avni y r u walking in the dark turn on the torch on your phone bhuddu

She turned on the torch and flashed the light about to see if there was any sign of Neil..as she was about to head in the direction Neil went to she got a call from Neil and wondered as to y is he calling

Avni: hello Neil where r u

Neil:avni come in to the bedroom now please

Avni:bedroom? When did u get to the bedroom she asked

Neil:just come u will known he said and cut the call

Avni: what is wrong with Neil? If he had gone to the bedroom he could have said it in the first place but no he likes to do things without telling  she said talking to herself while heading towards the room using her phone torch

As she reached there she opened the door and slwoky rose petals fell on her making her look up  surprising her....

When she looked down for a sec she was shocked...she  walked in to see the  room decorated.. there was candles on the floor in a heart shape and In the middle happy bday avni was made by rose petal with few of her pics in the middle.

Neil:happy birthday once again avni he said coming from behind

Avni turned around to see Neil standing near the door

She smiled while he can see her eyes were watery .

Avni walked towards Neil slowly while he watched her. .as she was near him she looked at him for a sec and then hugged him with her face hiding in his chest and hands behind his back clutching his shirt

Neil smiled and hugged her back kissing her head  

Avni:how much  more r u going to surprise me Neil she said looking up while breaking the hug

Neil:there is something left

Avni:kya?

Neil:come he said taking her to the balcony
