Avni: what if that avni gets hurt again.. it's best if she doesn't

Neil: she won't because she will have so many people to take away her pain... Avni I promise until we dont end this marriage... I will make sure that old avni that everyone talks about is back again

Avni: don't waste your time Neil there will be no point

Neil: that we will see

Meanwhile in Mumbai at the parikh mansion

Neela was sitting in the garden still thinking about ashish words.. she did answer him back the other day but it still felt like someone was stabbing her heart so many times

Ashish:neela

Neela turned to see ashish and got up

Neela:now what else is there left to say ashish she said turning away from him

Ashish looked at neela and then moved towards her and held her shoulders turning her to face him

Ashish:I'm sorry.... I was so harsh on u and said whatever came in my mind

Neela: which can hurt anyone badly

Ashish:neela I'm sorry I was so angry that I didn't think of what I was saying.. but then maa and everyone told me my mistake and that's when I knew I was wrong... the things u did for my family and children.. nobody else would have done that.. U have changed the meaning of a step mother neela and I'm thankful to u he said holding her hands

Neela: I'm sorry for been rude but I don't regret whatever I said...if any one else said that to me then i would have answered them back like this.

Ashish smiled

Ashish: one thing is for sure neela if in the further I'm not there with my kids then i know I wouldnt have to worry for them as u will look after them well.. U r their main pillar

Neela: y r u saying that Ashihs u have a chance to spend time with both of your kids especially Avni who didn't get love from u after ayesha ji death... make it up to her and trust me when she forgives u then u will start getting the same amount of love which I get

Ashihs: will u help me ?... i dont know y but I feel hesitant speaking to avni as it feels like she is someone else

Neela: because she hid that old Avni due to the past  but this avni isn't bad either... show how much u love her and regret whatever u did Or said in the past and then u will see the love  in her eyes for u.

Ashish: will u help me ?

Neela:Me?

Ashihs:haan u.. Neela u know Avni better than me so please as a friend and a mother help me

Neela: hmmm ok I'll try my best i can help but u have to do the rest.

Ashish: thank u so much he said giving her a friendly hug while neela hands stopped midway recalling her love for this man but quickly hid it and hugged him back

Back to goa avneil were laying on the sand looking at the sky...

Neil: u want some ice cream

Avni:sure.

Neil got up while going to get some ice cream while she sat up watching some kids play volley ball and smiled

Neil came back with ice cream and handed one to avni sitting next to her

Avni:u know beach is the main place where me and  mama would spend most of the time

Neil:u didn't mention your dad .. Avni stopped eating her ice cream and looke at him.

Avni:that's because he was busy with his work.. but he did spend time when ever he was free or visit us.. Neil smiled slowly as when Avni said that he could sense the justification she gave as to y he wasn't able to spend time with them

Neil:I see...

Avni:y do u always bring him in our conversation

Neil:because I want to know how that little avni life was as a kid and all the happy moments she spent with her family.

Avni: neil... before she could say anything her ice cream broke which made Neil laugh.

Avni glared at Neil and took his ice cream

Neil:hey that is mine.

Avni:not any more I'm eating it now.

Neil:don't eat too much otherwise u will put on weight

Avni:don't worry about me she said enjoying her ice cream but then her eyes widened realising what he said

Avni: what did u say

Neil:I said what u heard.

Avni: say it again she said glaring at him

Neil:nope u heard it so I'm not going to repeat myself plus I said the truth he said playfully.

Avni: truth? There is no truth in what u said

Neil: that's what u think.

Avni:u r Been rude

Neil:I'm not beside that what u get for taking my ice cream he said looking at avni from the corner of his eyes.

Avni: if that's the case then u should get a reply back in avni style

Neil:really ? Is it new in the market.

Avni:of course it is she said taking some sand and quickly threw it at him while Neil had turned his face and quickly got up

Neil:avni yaar what r u doing

Avni:just giving a reply in my way she said getting up and ran after him as Neil made a run for it.

Neil was laughing while Avni was shouting at him telling him to stop

Neil: don't run u will get tired he said loudly while laughing

Avni:don't worry about me worry for yourself. .she said picking up an empty plastic bottle but while trying to run quickly she nearly caught up to Neil but    was about to trip due to losing balance

Avni:neillll she called out in a panicing way while Neil turned around and saw avni but before he could hold on to her.. he lost the balance due to the speeding force she came and fell backwards while holding Avni in his arms around her waist while avni hugged him tightly with her face resting on his chest with eyes closed and fell on the ground.. but thanks to the sand they Were not hurt

Neil looked at avni who was still clinging on to him while his hand was still around her waist.

Neil: Avni he said softly.

Avni opened her eyes not feeling any pain she lifted her head and looked straight to see Neil underneath her... their face was close and as soon as their eyes met in that proximity there was no looking back.. it's like something was connecting them not making them look away.. Neil slowly lifted his hand and tucked a few strands of hair behind her ears making avni close her eyes for few secs when his fingers brushed against her face... she slowly opened it while Neil also smiled at her.

Suddenly they slowly came out of their trance when they heard their names been called.. they slowly realised the position they were in and avni was about to get up quickly that she fell on Neil again.. making them have a few secs of eye lock

Avni: sorry she said getting up this time without falling on Neil again while Neil got up

To avoid the awkward moment Neil spoke.

Neil:u ok ?

Avni: yeah I'm fine but hope u r not hurt.

Neil:nope completely fine he said smiling to erase the tension while avni smiled back too

Both turned when they heard their names been called again and saw aliya walking towards them

However their thoughts was on what just happened even though it was for few mins but it was something which both felt.

Few hours later

Avneil were in their room even though they were normal they couldn't get of their mind with what happened at the beach

Avni was sitting in the balcony thinking about how she hid her face in Neil chest and when she saw him that close and wasn't able to look away... the way his fingers brushed lightly against her skin when he was tucking her hair behind her ears

Avni:this is weird... y am I thinking too much about it.. it shouldn't mean any thing right? Or should it? I don't know but when his fingers brushed against my face even though it was lightly i felt something how shall I describe it May be like a tingle but in a good way... maybe I'm just overthinking... but I also have never felt this way with any guy

Of course Avni wouldn't have felt this for any guy because she didn't allow anyone to come close to her or get to know her this well expect her friends and family.. but here she wasn't realising the wall she built around her heart of never falling in love is erasing

Avni:avni beta u just need some good music and dinner and u will be fine. Time to think about something else. She said plugging her headphone into her ears

Meanwhile Neil was in the washroom having shower thanks to the sand.. but he was completely still.

There was something about avni that pulls him close to her without him knowing... there is just something in her that makes him forget about everything without him knowing... the concern and care he has for her is more than a friend but for him it's only a friendly way.. how long will it take for Neil to understand the real reason as to y avni effects him this much .

Neil:y am I thinking about this ...avni is just a friend who I helped.. nothing else then y am I getting this weird feeling... y do i feel like annoying her too much knowing how she reacts.. for a sec I couldn't look away from here even if I wanted to (liar Neil khanna)
It was just out of the blue right.. we both r friends and will always be... besides this just happened like that but it doesn't mean there is any thing there right? Of course not we r friends and that's it

Both were having their own pov not ready to accept y it hapoened and what could be the chances but  their pov will change during the time

The next day Riya and avni decided to go out alone leaving the boys as they had told the boys during dinner  last night.

Ali was in Neil's room. Both were busy chilling while going through something on their phone

Ali:yaar Neil where do u think riya and avni must have gone

Neil:no idea probably to check the hotel out as their is many places to check out in this hotel

Ali: and they could have taken us but no even on honeymoon they need their girls day out.

Neil looked at ali and chucked at the way Ali was moaning.

Neil : then let's go down and do something fun

Ali:like

Neil:we will figure something out

Ali: let's go then

Ali and Neil were checking things out in the hotel when they heard laughters of so many kids and two familiar laughing voice.. they looked at each other and followed from where all the noise was coming from and walked in to see there was many kids who was playing in the pool ..as it was a swimming pool area

they looked around when Neil and Ali saw riya and avni playing in the pool with the kids.. Neil looked at avni and smiled how she was playing with one of the kids.. his eyes just followed her each move not realising that the barrier around his heart is slowly been lifted up to allow it to fall in love but this time truely to the person that is made for him

Ali:look here they r ..

Riya: Ali..Neil she shouted waving at them while avni hadn't noticed them as she was busy playing with the child

Neil took this as a chance and started recording. To capture that Avni which everyone talked about.. he wanted to show them the glimpse of the old avni who was enjoying playing with the kids not worrying about anything.. while she was laughing everytime the smile on his face was getting bigger

Avni suddenly looked towards Neil as if she felt him and saw him holding his phone up and smiling away she frowned when she realised what he was doing and quickly got up running towards him

Avni:Neil show your phone

Neil:what? Y?

Avni:because I feel like u was doing something that u shouldn't be doing

Neil:well it's my phone so I can do anything

Avni:so my doubt is right delete whatever it is right now

Neil:not at all he said winking and moved away from her going to join aliya who was playing with the kids while avni fumed at Neil.

Ali: yaar Avni come on y r u always there

Avni glared at Neil who was smiling making her fume even more... she moved to join tje n

5 mins later
Neil took some water and started splashing it on avni slightly and when she looked towards him he pretended he was playing with the kids.

Avni frowned and then went back to playing with the kid when Neil again did the same thing she looked at him and he again pretended.... this time she was alert... one of the kids gestured her and as Neil was about to splash water... avni turned around at the exact time and stared to splash water on Neil

Neil: yaar Avni stop.. Avni yaar i said stop he said putting his hands on front of his face so that the water doesn't splash on his face 

Avni: no this is what u get. She said and continued again

Neil quickly moved towards her and  grabbed her hands holding her wrist and pulled her with such  force that their nose touched with each other

Both were drenched but that didn't matter... as again they were lost in staring at each other

Avni was about to lose balance but Neil held on to her from falling deep into the water. As his hands went around her back

Neil moved avni wet strands of hair which was stuck on her cheeks... when suddenly all of the kids started clapping avni came out of her trance while Neil was still staring at her while holding her

Aliya who was watching with a smile saw the scene when Neil had pulled avni and how both got lost into staring at each other.. they looked at each other and riya quickly took her camera recording it. While Ali moved to take snaps from different angel .

Kids: yay bhaiya saved didi from falling

Avni looked at the kids and then at Neil who still was looking at her and didn't let go

Ali went near them and was behind Neil he took some water and was pouring it on Neil's head again and again

Neil vision was getting blurry thanks to the water rolling on his face too and with that he slowly came back to reality and saw how all were looking at him and then turned to look at ali who was giving him a teasing look and then looked back at avni who was giving him a confused look.

Avni:um I guess we all should get out of the pool and change before we catch a cold she said looking at the others and then at Neil

Neil: yeah a perfect idea he said and let go of her  slowly.

Avni gestured Ali and within sec he understood as Neil moved forward they both started to splash water onto Neil. While everyone started laughing

After changing  they had lunch and visited few other places taking group pics or with one another... time went so quick when Avneil and aliya decided to go and see the sun set

They were at chapora fort... it's one of the best place to witness sunset in goa.. on the cliff it's give a great view of the wide beach, far- horizon, Palm trees and the magnificent setting sun

  Riya placed her camera stand properly to capture the sun set

Riya was sitting in front of Ali resting her head on his chest  with Ali's  arm wrapped around her shoulder while taking a sip of coconut water .

Avni and Neil sat beside each other a little bit closer.. as the sun was setting slowly Avni rested her head on Neil's shoulder enjoying the magic view.. Neil felt it but he didn't look,  neither was he uncomfortable and smiled enjoying how the sunset was looking from up there.. he slowly rested his head on top of avni.. all four lost at the beauty they were witnessing

As the sunset was nearly done avneil relaised their position but none said anything as they felt comfortable and knew they were not doing anything wrong..  they were friends and in friendship u should be comfortable but here they didn't know exactly but knew something is changing unaware that the barriers around their heart is slowly breaking to allow  the love to capture their hearts... they knew no justification is needed and they don't even need to argue with their mind to explain the logic to themselves.

Both of their pov was the same this moment and that was This  just felt right
