Neil: the show is over u all can go he said to the people who were still standing while few secs later they started to move away

Neil:u ok he asked the girl who was actually scared to answer anything

avni saw neil talking to the girl she was about to go to him when her eyes widened

Avni: NEIL WATCH OUT she said

Neil turned around and before he could realise one of the guy hurt neil arm with broken glass missing his aim which was to attack neil on the chest l....neil arm started to bleed but he didnt bother about that and gave the man a final punch

Avni ran to Neil and at that time police also arrived

Avni: neil u r hurt

Dd had gotten out of the car and as he reached near he saw avneil and then men on the floor  when he saw blood dripping from neil arm

Dd:sir jee u r injured he said

Neil: arien this is nothing chill I'm fine ...nothing has happened... dd take these men they were harassing this girl he said

Dd nodded as he was told while avni looked at Neil angrily

As the police picked up the guys from the floor a lady constable also took the girl who thanked neil with a nod

Neil smiled and turned to look at avni who was looking very angry

Neil: avni what happened he said in which resulted a direct glare  at him

Avni: u r asking me what happened... u r hurt neil she said still glaring at him ... her voice had  both concern and anger

Neil: relax avni it's going to heal soon and it's nothing new

Avni: cant u see how much u r hurt..I dont know y u r acting so calm...what if something had happened to u

Neil: avni...I'm fine...talking to you...standing on my feet...come let's go back to the restaurant

Avni: u know what do whatever u want and eat yourself in that restaurant with this injury of yours  she said  and turned to leave

Neil: where r u going he asked as he held her arm

Avni: y does it matter to you... I'll go wherever I want she said  moving his hand away from her arm

Before neil could go after avni dd came..

While dd was talking to neil his eyes was on avni who was standing at a distance

Neil: dd not now ok he said as he was walking over to avni and saw her get into a taxi

Neil quickly ran to his car which was luckily  across the road and quickly got in

For few mins he kept on driving straight to see if he spots avni in a taxi and after a while he spotted the taxi which was near the traffic lights thanks to the label on the back of the taxi he knew avni was in that one only

Neil placed the phone near the gear and tried to dial avni number and kept it on loud speaker  but there was no answer from avni

Neil: come on avni answer the call at least

Soon the traffic light turned green and neil noticed the taxi was not heading to metha mansion as it took another route

Neil: where is this taxi heading? Did avni Give metha mansion address or not.

Neil kept on trying avni call but she wasnt answering at all

Neil: answer the call avni please...he said as he was worried since the things that was happening to girls these day

Few mins later

The taxi stopped outside juhi flat and avni went inside.

Neil car stopped after few secs

Neil: has avni come to juhi flat?  As I clearly remeber juhi talking about staying in this area.....but how will I go in as I dont even know which floor juhi lives in he said to himself

Neil then parked his car onto the side and got out and took his phone out trying to dial avni number

Avni looked at her phone as she got into the lift seen neil calling again but this time instead of allowing it to ring she cut the call

Neil: damit avni pick up the phone he said trying again but no luck

Meanwhile juhi was chilling when she heard the door bell ring

Juhi:, who could come at this time she thought...she checked through the peep hole to find avni standing on the other side

Juhi frowned and opened the door

Juhi: hey what happ..but before she could finish of her sentence avni walked past her and headed towards the kitchen

Juhi closed the door and followed her to see avni drinking water

Juhi: what happened y do u look angry

Avni:, cant I be angry she said placing  the glass down and headed into the hall

Juhi: that depends on the situation and u was meant to go for dinner with Neil right

Avni: dont even talk about him...I'm so angry on him right now... he doesnt even care about himself 

Juhi:avniiii will u tell me clearly she said turning avni around to see her eyes welled up

Avni:he got hurt but he acted so cool... he has a family juhi who will be concerned about him....I was so worried to see that blood dripping from his wound but he didnt seem to be bothered about it she said as her voice went weak

Juhi: so y didnt u tell him

Avni: tell him what? I kept on telling him that he needs to bandage it but no neil khanna says it's fine it's not a big deal

Juhi: it's ok calm down he must he useto it

Avni: but I'm not I just cant see anyone close to me hurt

Juhi: so Neil is close to u right

Avni looked at juhi

Avni: I guess so

Juhi: u need to have a clear answer avni

Avni: I will go and freshen up she said and headed to the bedroom while juhi shook her head

Juhi took her phone and called neil

Neil who was pacing back and forth in the parking area heard his phone ring..he thought it was avni and took it out of his pocket to see juhi calling

Neil: hey ju...but before he could continue juhi interrupted

Juhi: Neil what happened over there? How did u get injured

Neil:juhi the thing is...neil narrated everything to juhi

Juhi: neil I agree u must be useto all this but avni isnt...if she has reacted this way means you hold a place in her heart ...in her life... all this is new for her and u acting all normal angered her even more...I know it's not your fault but avni reacted that way out of concern

Neil:juhi please allow me to meet avni... I just need to talk to her please

Juhi:well for that u need to get here

Neil:um I'm actually at the parking area outside your building... I just didnt know which floor u live in

Juhi:what!... u both lovebirds  r impossible she said shaking her head

Neil: I know now please tell me which floor

Juhi: 3 floor door number  21a

Neil:I'll be there

Both ended the call and neil ran inside and headed towards the lift

After few mins juhi opened the door as neil had knocked

Neil: where is she

Juhi: bedroom..go and pacify her now

Neil: wish me luck as she hasnt reacted like this before

Juhi: haan except when she had got jealous

Neil:well this is more than that he said

Juhi chuckled and neil went towards the bedroom

As he had entered he saw the washroom light  on while the shower was still on

Neil walked towards the window and waited

After few mins the door opened

As Neil turned around he saw avni coming out in her shorts and teeshirt while a towel was wrapped around her hair and with another towel she was drying her face when her eyes fell onto him

Avni was surprised seen Neil while he had noticed that look

Neil walked over to avni but before he could get to her....Avni threw the towel on the chair that was in her hand and walked to the dressing table

Neil:avni please speak...say something at least he said to her

Neil looked at avni as she didnt say anything and was just applying cream

Neil: avni how long r u glong to behave this way for he said seriously

But again avni blanked him and got up to leave...before she could take another step neil grabbed her wrist and turned her around with full force that the towel wrapped around her hair loosened and fell on the floor

Neil: I'm talking to u avni...answer me he said all seriously as he was getting frustrated

Avni moved his grip away from her wrist and walked past him to head out but within a sec she was turned around that few strand of her wet hair  sticked to her face...before avni could move away neil pinned her against the wall and placed his hand on either sides caging her

neil: can u tell me y r u so mad at me that u left alone and also u r avoiding me and not answering my phone call he said

Avni moved the wet locks from her face as neil spoke and gave him a look and then looked away

Avni: move she said as she tried to push his hands away but the more she tried the more closer neil would come to her...

Neil:first answer me he said as he cupped her face to make her look at him ...

as he turned her face towards him their lips brushed against each other ....as their face was so close that they were able to see each others reflection in their eyes

Both got lost into each other eyes..avni who was struggling stopped

Neil slowly moved the remaining wet locks from avni face making her close her eyes as his fingers brushed through her skin

His finger then slowly started to trace her cheeks...avni opened her eyes and gulped the way neil looked into her eyes...neil smiled and his finger moved to her lips tracing her lips making her shudder...he looked at her and then at her lips and as if giving him permission she closed her eyes as her lips parted slowly.

Neil placed his lips on her while his hand moved onto her waist pulling her close to him their lips moved slowly against each other completely forgetting about what happened before that

A min later Neil broke the kiss and looked at avni as she opened her eyes..her cheeks all red while her wet hair add to her beauty 

As neil tucked her hair behind her ears avni noticed the injury on his arm making her remember she was mad at him

Neil stumbled few steps back as avni pushed neil and moved near the window and wrapped her arms around herself as if to comfort herself

Neil:avni  y r u making this complicated....just end this matter and be like before y drag it he said

Avni was getting fed up of Neil's questioning and turned to face him

avni: because I love u she said annoyingly

Neil was surprised and after few secs a smile came on to his face while avni realised  what she said as she didnt expect to say this at all.

Avni: I..mean...that I... she didnt know what to say as even she didnt expect she will say something like this

As neil came towards avni she faced ahead avoiding eye contact with him

Neil: repeat what you said he said making her turn towards him

Avni:i dont want to say anything she said and turned to move away

But neil held her and cupped her cheeks...he was able to see her eyes welling up...neil lowered his face and placed a deep kiss on her lips while avni eyes closed and a tear rolled down her cheeks.

Neil looked at avni and pulled her in  for a hug making her rest her head  against his chest making her wrap her arms tightly around him

Avni: I got scared neil... when u was beating all those men up I cant explain how worried I was...I was not doubting your capability but there was just too many of them...when that guy hit u with a broken glass bottle it felt like I was hurt...seen your arm injured panicked me and then seen you all calm and normal towards your injury made me angry as you just didnt seem to care....I cant see any of my close members getting hurt like this and acting all careless

Neil was rubbing avni back all this time as they stayed in a hugging position

Neil:avni been a police officer we get such injury ....even worse than this...I understand your concern ...I'm sorry but I have gotten useto such things

Avni: u cant just ignore it all the time na neil ...u have a family who also loves u cares for u and worries about u...and now even I'm a part of your life...been a police officer u r also a human, and related to many people in many ways

Neil: avni I promise that I will try to be careful but it cant be guaranteed as been a police officer all this will happen

Avni: I know it will but just imagine me or someone else getting injured in the family and we acting  all normal and not worry about getting our injury sorted will u be ok? Will u let it go

Neil:no...I cant see any of u get hurt he said after few seconds

Avni:that is how I felt...u got injured fine but your careless behaviour of not getting it treated is what angered me more she said looking at him

Neil: I'm sorry avni I'll remember that from next time

Avni: pakka?

Neil:pakka he said kissing her forehand

Avni smiled as she felt happy now

Neil: wasien someone had said something very important few mins back and i want to hear it again and one good thing happened due to all this which is your true feelings r known for me now he said

Avni:  u heard me say it right so there is no point in repeating it right she said moving out of his arm and turned to walk away but Neil held her hand

Neil: say it one more time with full of love he said and pulled avni making her land into his arm

Avni: anger or love what matter is that I said it

Neil: ab say it na please he said as he nuzzled her cheeks with his lips making avni giggle

Avni moved away instantly when juhi walked into the room with a cup of coffee

Juhi: sorry to disturb your romance but I have made coffee have some and then continue your romance she said as she placed the cup on the small table

Avni: y one cup she said acting all normal as if her and neil were not up to anything

Juhi: when there is romance you just need one cup and not two

Avni: juhiiiiii

Neil: juhi is right.... by the way juhi u know few mins back your friend said something to me ...those 3 special words but now that I'm telling her to repeat it she isnt listening

Avni:y shall I repeat when u didnt even listen to what I told u to do after u got injured

Avni eyes widened suddenly  while neil and juhi wondered what happened

Juhi: avniii where did u fly of too

Avni: first aid kit..as super cop wont remember his arm is inuired right she said looking at neil and then at juhi as she moved to the drawer to get the kit

Juhi: I'll leave u to her she said as she made an exist...

Avni: neil sit on the bed and remove your shirt
