In a house the stranger entered and saw his boss looking at the news which was showing the royals.

Stranger: boss I shot her on the arm just as u said. He said happily as if he has won an award

Everyone was outside and was deciding who is going to stay with avni... juhi decided to stay with avni as she had a night shift and also dr kirit told her that she is in charge of looking after avni.

Neil wanted to stay but he also had to go with vijay to meet the commissioner to see if anything was found in the cctv...

everyone started leaving though they didn't want to leave avni

Neil: vijay banna u go I will meet u at commissioner uncle office

Vijay: ok... when vijay left neil turned his attention to juhi.

Neil: choti look after avni and if u need anything do let us know.

Juhi: don't worry bhai if I need anything I will call mom or neela aunty.

Neil: I will see u in the morning take care bye

Juhi: bye bhai. And with that neil left while juhi went to see her other patients.

At devgarh mansion neela was sitting in her room looking at avni picture and caressing it while tears were rolling down her face ashish came and sat next to her putting his hands around her shoulder... neela rested her head on his shoulder and both were looking at the photo frame

Neela: ashish it really pained me when I saw all those machine around avni.

Ashish: it did neela, but we should thank god that now she is fine but I will only be able to relax when she wakes up and talks to us. But yes not only avni we all need to be careful and have a guard around us all the time

Neela: but y would someone want to harm avni when she hasn't done anything wrong. Im really worried about her what if again... But ashish didn't let her complete

Ashish: no neela we have to make sure nothing like this happens again. But im just worried about riya she has been crying all day.

Neela: we have never seen riya like this before but we all know how much she loves avni. I will just go and see her now... Neela got up from the bed and started walking out of the room when ashish called her

Neela: jee she said turning around facing him

Ashish: have you told sia he asked

Neela: no ashish ... u know she is pregnant and I didn't want her to worry as she shouldn't be taking any type of stress. But I will inform daksh and tell him to let sia know when avni regains conscious.

Ashish nodded while neela headed to riya room and when she reached there she saw diksha and riya was sitting on the couch where
Riya was hugging diksha tightly staring into space while diksha was stroking her hair...

diksha had noticed neela but riya was still in her own world neela went and sat next to riya and placed her hand on riyas shoulder...

after a min riya looked up and without a second went into neela embrace... she was not crying but was very silent which is unlikely of riya

Neela: beta ur jiji is fine and do u think she would like to see u like this

Riya: mom because of me we went shopping and if I didn't give that idea then di would have been here with us. Neela looked at diksha

Diksha: bhabhi sa since we came back this is all riya has been saying and thinks that she is responsible of avnis state

Neela: beta u r not responsible of avni state.
Even if it was ur idea of going shopping doesn't mean it was ur fault.

Riya: mom y did this had to happen to jiji

Neela: beta everyone has this question in their mind but nobody knows the answer expect the person who did this...somewhere neela was restless thinking if this has any connection to the past

The scene slowly faded and shifted to commissioner cabin where neil and vijay were

Commissioner: rajkumar vijayendra and yuvraj neil we have found something on the cctv... three of them started watching the cctv footage.

Neil had this anger in his eyes while watching the footage and so did vijay. In the footage they saw avni coming out and could clearly hear her telling the guard to go and then in sec they could see blood oozing out from avni arm which made neil's jaw tighten. The commissioner stopped playing the footage

Neil: well the footage clearly shows avni got shot commissioner saab but looks like u have forgotten that we asked u to check if u find any other proof. he said gritting his teeth

Commissioner: we do yuvraj but before saying anything I would like u to see the other footage.

when he started to play the footage they could see a man standing a bit far away and his back was facing the camera so they could clearly see how he was aiming the gun through the hole made in the file. After when the video stopped playing he showed a pic of how the person was looking as they somehow got a pic from him through a cctv camera. But the problem was he had his face covered with the shawl.

Vijay: by the person body we could tell it was a man who shot avni. No wonder he didn't get caught in the beginning as he covered his face.

Neil: I swear whoever this person is will burn in hell he said looking at the computer screen

Comssioner: we r still enquiring everyone around that area if they saw that man before because it could be that before entering the mall entrance he hadn't covered his face so there could be a chance of someone seeing
him.

It was around 7pm now. Neela and daya had visited the hospital again to see avni and after seeing her they had left and went back to the mansion while riya had fallen asleep due to all the crying and everyone made it sure not to disturb her.

Juhi had finished her duty and was with avni. She was reading her book but also was looking at avni every 10 mins and didn't realise when she fell asleep next to avni...

Neil was in his room doing push up his eyes were on the wall anyone could tell he was doing push up for a long time as he was sweating a lot but all that was playing in neils mind was the footage which showed avni getting shot .

Next day avni slowly opened her eyes. Due to the sun she closed it for a sec and then opened them again. She looked on her right and could see the machines which clearly told her she was at the hospital she slowly turned her face towards the left when she saw the door opening and neela entering.

Neela had big smile on her face though there was tears in her eyes as she was finally happy to see avni awake. She went towards her and kissed her on the forehead.
Neela: avni beta how r u feeling now. She said helping avni sit up and then sat on the chair next to her

Avni: good. But left arm is paining slightly. But where is riya

Neela: riya is at home as vijay and diksha are taking care of her

Avni: taking care of her what happened to ri. she asked been confused and scared at the same time

Neela: nothing happened to her bacha its just that since u were in hospital she didn't eat anything and when we all left to go back to the palace she was being stubborn of not eating saying she is not Hungary. So vijay is just making sure she eats right now. now come u also eat she said cutting the apple in slices

Avni: ma please I am not Hungary

Neela: beta u have to eat something u r weak due to losing a lot of blood .

But avni was shaking her head as she didn't feel like eating.

Neil entered inside and saw Neela trying to feed avni who as usual was refusing to eat saying she is not Hungary but both turned their attention to neil.

Avni and Neela smiled back at him but neil only smiled at Neela and went forward and took her blessing

Neela: neil beta now that u r here please make avni eat as these days she has become really stubborn

Neil: u r right Aunty Neela, avni has surely become stubborn these days as she feels like doing what she wants he said looking straight into avni eyes which somehow made her feel nervous. She looked away from him and concentrated on her hands.

Neela kissed avni on the forehead and touched neil's cheeks lovingly before leaving from there... Neil went and sat on the chair near avni bed and took the plate that Neela kept on the nearby table. Neil had just lifted a piece of Apple when avni spoke

Avni: neil I don't want to eat this... But she stopped speaking when neil looked at her sternly and without arguing she took the slice of Apple from his hand and ate it silently.

After finishing few pieces of Apple neil gave her orange juice which she found bitter but she couldn't say anything as the great yuvraj neil Khanna was in the room... Avni looked at neil from the corner of her eyes and started talking in her head

Avni mind talk: wonder what has happened to neil...y is he giving me this stern look I haven't even done anything to him in fact I got injured myself... And when she realised the incident at the mall out of the blue she asked neil

Avni: neil i didn't even realise when and how I got shot all I remember is the pain in the arm....neil looked at avni when she said this

Neil: tell me one thing avni what was the guard doing? Though he knew the answer he wanted avni to tell him.

Avni: erm he went inside. Neil raised his eyebrow

Neil: really but it's their responsibility to stay near the royals and protect them

Avni: actually... neil I had sent the guard inside so that he could go and inform vijay bhai and riya that I would be waiting for them outside... But i didn't know anything like this would happen she said trying to justify

Neil: exactly we don't know what could happen. Avni do u know if u hadn't sent the guard then u probably wouldn't have been shot. He said sternly trying to control his anger

Avni: how do u know that? She said getting a little annoyed with neil's behaviour

Neil: because when me and vijay banna saw the footage it clearly showed that as soon as the guard moved away from u that person used that opportunity to aim at u. He said through gritted teeth

Avni: y r u behaving like this ... I am fine now

Neil: because u don't know what we all went through avni... Everyone was worried... riya the girl who is too strong was crying the most to see u like this. Neela aunty and ashish uncle...do u know what they were like?.. no right avni we all were worried for u. from now on whether u like it or not u will be having guards around u no matter where u go.

Avni somehow felt bad here she was getting annoyed at neil's behaviour whereas he was only showing concern.

Avni: I'm sorry neil I didn't even realise how others would have felt especially riya... Sorry... I promise I will not tell the guards to go away she said placing her hand on top of neil's. Now at least stop been stubborn as I only like the naughty neil... Avni bit her tongue when she said that and looked at neil who slowly started smirking

Neil: really... He said moving closer to her... Maybe I should become even naughtier he said winking at her making avni blush... Soon juhi came to check on avni and saw neil there

Juhi: sorry bhai but u have to leave the room as it's my patients check-up time so please can u she said showing neil the door.

Neil in his mind: there is always someone to disturb us he said shaking his head and left the room.

Avni took a sigh of relief which juhi noticed

Juhi: what happened did bhai say something

Avni: yes neil had just started on me about yesterday's incident. Trust me juhi I felt like running away though I know he was concerned and so was everyone else. And now your bhai has ordered me to have security guard Where ever i go no matter what

Juhi: avni this is bhai love for u. And even u love him.. Avni looked at juhi

Avni: how do u know that I mean yes we r engaged but... Somehow she couldn't complete her question

Juhi: confused? Avni do one thing close your eyes and see who has taken your heart away she said smiling while avni was looking at her trying to digest all this

Ok come let me change your bandage for now and then the nurse will come to give u some tablets which will make u fall asleep. Avni nodded and soon juhi starting changing avni's bandage and till then the nurse had come and gave her the tablet. After taking the tablets avni laid down and slowly started falling asleep.

When juhi came out of avni room along with the nurse neil wanted to go in and stay with avni when juhi stopped him

Juhi: bhai avni is sleeping right now.

Neil: juhi I have spoken to dr keerti and she said we can take avni home and look after her over there.

Juhi: ok then I will get her discharge paper ready... sister lovely can u go and change avni clothes please. The nurse nodded and went back to the room... When she came out neil went inside to find a sleeping avni... He slowly put her right arm over his neck and slowly lifted her up making sure not to hurt her left arm and as soon as he turned he saw juhi opening the door and brining a wheel chair

Juhi: bhai u can place avni on the wheel chair

Neil: no need chotti I will carry her he said looking at avni whose head was resting on his shoulder

Juhi: ok plus I have taken a week off so I can also look after avni too... They soon headed out with guards surrounding them.

Neil placed avni and sat next to her whereas juhi went and sat on the other side of avni...

Avni head was resting on neil's shoulder and juhi was calling vijay to inform him that they r bringing avni .

Everyone was happy to see avni especially riya who came running down to see her sister in neil's arm...

Neil carried avni to her room and placed her on the bed covering her with the blanket ...riya came and sat on the other side of the bed. Juhi turned towards Neela

Juhi: Neela aunty I will keep coming to check avni regularly but also u make sure that she doesn't put much pressure on her left arm

Juhi: bhai shall we leave... Neil didn't want to leave but he also knew
Avni was sleeping and she did need that rest...

Neil and juhi took blessing of the elders and left from there

Vijay: riya come let's go avni bhai is sleeping so we will come back later

Riya: no dadi this morning I didn't get to see di because u told me to meet her later on but since she is here now I won't go until she wakes up

When riya woke up 7am in the morning she found herself cuddling avni and her hands clutching avni pj top tightly around the waist as if she was scared that her sister would leave her...

For a second she panicked thinking she probably must have put all her weight on avni left wounded arm but relaxed when she noticed she was sleeping on the other side... She carefully got up making sure not to disturb her sister and went out of the room.

The chefs in the kitchen were making the breakfast while the head chef was looking at all the dishes and making sure the cooks were doing their work properly...

Avni entered the kitchen which made everyone stop doing what they were doing and were thinking y is the beauty princess in the kitchen around 7 in the morning as she never wakes ups before 8 otherwise it would disturb her beauty sleep. The head chef turned towards the cooks and told them to get back to work before walking towards riya

Head chef: rajkumari ji do u need anything?

Riya: yes can u please prepare this for jiji she said handing him a piece of paper... He took the paper and stated reading it

Head chef: sure rajkumari i will

Riya: when it's prepared call me... Head chef nodded and quickly went to get the items that he need and started to get the breakfast read for avni...

Riya went into her room to freshen up and got ready and by then it was around 7:30 am... She was applying eye liner when someone knocked on the door

Riya: come in... she said once she finished with the eye liner... riya turned and saw seema ji entering

Seema: rajkumari ji I have been told to tell u that yuvrani avni food is done

Riya: k tell them to keep it ready and I'll be there in few minutes seema ji nodded and left... riya walked towards avni room with seema ji behind her carrying the food trolley..

Both entered the room and riya saw avni was still asleep she went and sat beside her careful not to touch her left arm while seema ji went and placed the breakfast on the table which was near the couch and went and stood behind riya..

Riya slowly tapped avni on her hands which was resting on the stomach

Riya:seema ji u can go now...

Once seem ji left riya starting waking her up...

Riya jiji it's morning wake up... She patted avni cheek a few times until avni slowly opened her eyes... She covered her mouth with her right arm as she yawned and then looked at riya

Avni: good morning riya

Riya: morning jiji now come and get up and have breakfast

Avni: no riya I don't feel like eating anything

Riya : jiji u have to eat and I got this breakfast made especially for u come.

Avni: riya please I seriously...but she couldn't continue as riya put her finger on avni lips to stop her from speaking

Riya: no jiji this time I am not listening and u have to eat to as u r weak now comes and get up she said removing the blanket and held avni from the waist and took her to the couch and made her sit down properly and then sat next to her. Avni looked at the dishes that was in front of her and she had no interest to eat oatmeal hot cereal, fruits, brown bread, egg, and fruit juice.

Avni: ri I'm not way eating all this. I just got injured on the hand and u.. but she got cut of

Riya : come on jiji this is healthy for u... And i heard that when u r weak u should be eating this kind of food ... Plus u eat egg and bread for breakfast sometimes

Avni: I eat white bread riya and u know how much I hate brown bread

Riya: well sorry u have to eat it... I think u should start with the oatmeal cereal before it gets cold

Avni: ri please I don't want to have that plus this cereal looks so disgusting I already hate the smell of it

Vijay: hate the smell of what avni ? Riya and avni turned toward the door to see vijay walking in and sitting next to avni.

Avni: the smell of this she said pointing towards the bowl that was in riyas hand

Riya: vijay bhai please explain to her that she has to eat all this for her health

Vijay: sorry avni but riya is right u have to eat this. Riya pass me the bowl he said talking it from her hand and dipped the spoon into the cereal... While avni felt trapped sitting between her siblings

Riya: come on jiji open ur mouth she said placing a slice of bread in front of her and waiting for avni to bite it...

Avni knew she didn't have the energy to run and all she could do was sit there... She chewed on the bread slowly making faces when a spoon appeared in front of her with the smelly cereal she made a face and looked at vijay and slowly opened her mouth... She was eating the cereal and didn't like it one bit... Vijay and riya kept feeding avni bread and cereal bit by bit

Riya: vijay bhai this much is enough... Avni had a smile on her face thinking she didn't have to eat anymore but soon her smiled faded when riya continued... Jiji still needs to eat fruit and also drink this juice ...

Riya picked a slice of apple and made avni eat that along with banana and soon gave avni juice and she had only half of it as she was full... She rested back on the couch and closed her eyes

Vijay: avni u alright he said been concerned

Avni: just feeling a little pain in the arm

Riya: one minute jiji I will get u some pain killer

Vijay: do u know where it is

Riya: Yh doctor uncle gave it to me yesterday when he came over she said walking to avni drawer and taking out a tablet while vijay was filling the glass with water.

Riya went and sat down next to avni and gave her the tablet and avni swallowed it and drank some water

Juhi: wow what a surprise to see u guys here early in the morning

Vijay: what's so surprising we can come to avni room anytime... Juhi smiled

Juhi: avni I will give u a sponge bath and then do ur dressing ok ?

Avni went blank for a minute recalling when NEIL gave her a sponge bath before when she was ill... and her cheeks had gone slightly red by remembering that

neil started to give avni sponge bath and he was doing it so softly that it was making avni ticklish and she felt goose bump even though neil noticed this he pretending that he didn't know the effect she was getting when he is rubbing the sponge on her hands and face

Vijay: please take all these plates and also give juhi the equipment she needs for a sponge bath ...

seema ji nodded and took away the plates from the table...

Soon seema ji came in with the equipment. And juhi was being very careful with avni left arm making sure she is not touching her wounded area... after 10 minutes juhi gave avni a sponge bath and she was feeling a little better

Juhi: avni I think u should change first and then I will do ur dressing on ur arm

Avni: ok... avni got up with the help of juhi and walked towards her wardrobe and juhi picked out an anarkali for her and helped her to wear it... juhi received a call and she answered it while helping avni dress up at the same time... but because she was busy on the phone she didn't notice she tied avni dori (string) loose on the back... after juhi cut the call and combed avni hair and left it down and then started to remove the old dressing and applied medicine on it and started to apply bandage on it.

juhi: avni I got you this shoulder arm sling

avni: thanks juhi I think my arm will feel better with this

juhi: here let me help you put it on..

Avni: thank you

Juhi: avni I will be back in a while ok... Avni went in front of the mirror and was adjusting her dupatta... though it was difficult with one hand but she was still trying when she noticed her dori was really loose she turned sideways and pulled her hair to the front and could see how her anarkali dori (string) could untie any second

Avni: I should call juhi to tie it up for me or should I wait. She picked up her phone which she left near her dressing table and was about to text her when she felt someone hand already on the string and she didn't have to look in the mirror as she recognized the touch very well she clutched her phone tightly and closed her eyes feeling neil right behind her where as neil was slowly tying the dori (string) of avni anarkali and through the mirror he could see her breathing had got heavier. After tying her dori (string) he slowly started tracing her back... avni stiffened a little bit... neil fingers kept tracing her back and then went down to her waist and wrapped his hands on her stomach and pulled her towards him so that her back hit his chest... he inhaled her scent and was stroking her cheeks with his nose and a placed a kiss on her ear lobe... He slowly moved avni hair sideways and blew on her neck and then slowly kissed on the sensitive spot of her neck which made her shiver ... avni was slowly gasping and held on to neils hand which was resting on her stomach... all of a sudden avni hissed as neil had bitten on that area but soon the pain vanished as he slowly started nibbling on it. He slowly turned avni around though he could feel the arm sling touching his chest... he slowly lifted her face and could see her eyes were still closed and also could see how her cheeks were red... neils eyes travelled down to her lips and started stroking her lips with his fingers softly making avni shiver... and then he leaned forwards and brushed her lips slowly with his before capturing it avni held on this shirt near his waist tightly while neil put his finger in her hair brining her closer to deepen the kiss... but avni had to pull away because she was running out of breath and rested her forehead on his chest... after few minutes neil made avni look at him and turned her towards the mirror

Neil: the first love bite I gave u princess this shows that u r only mine... and there are still more to come princess so be ready

Avni: neilllll she said moving away from him and Walked towards the bed but neil caught her right arm and pulled her towards him he rested his chin on her shoulder and wrapped his hands around her stomach

Neil: come on princess that nothing after our marriage everything is going to change and I will make u mine completely and u will feel only me he said huskily making avni blush... hayeee princess if you keep on blushing like this then I feel like doing something to you he said pinching her waist making avni jump slightly

Avni: neil leave me someone will come

(she looked at neil and placed her hand on his cheeks )...beta now I proud that years ago we decided to get u both married because you guys r just made for each other god bless u...

Ashish: my angel he said hugging her... Come and have some breakfast

Avni: no paa I had breakfast already in fact riya is the one who got me breakfast in the morning and made sure I eat it

Vijay: not fair u remember ri was there but forgot about ur beloved brother

Neil: now where r u going to go princess he said tracing her face ..I could give u another love bite if u want... avni felt her cheeks going red... neil stroked her cheeks and was leaning forward and brushed his lips with avni's ... but neil moved away from avni as they heard vijay voice

Vijay: omg guys get a room and that was a love bite that I saw... and our naughty neil planning to give another love bite to avni looks like I need to tell this news to riya what say juhi.

neil and avni who were looking away from vijay turned towards vijay direction to see even juhi was standing there who had her hands around her mouth to stop from laughing...

Vijay walked up closer to where avneil were standing ...avni was looking down not looking at anyone but she felt embarrassed when vijay moved her hair sideways and was looking at the love bite as if he was investigating an important case

vijay: hmmm wonder what else you guys do when your alone he said winking at juhi who couldn't control anymore and started laughing...
Only to be glared by her brother but she couldn't stop. vijay continued. It will be fun telling all this to riya

avni: I swear vijay bhai if u tell anyone else then I will make sure that bua sa gets u married ASAP no matter what.

Vijay: well that is not going to happen my lovely avni he said smirking

Avni: if that's so then do you remember last time me and riya put make up on ur face when u were sleeping and I took a picture of you ...I still got that picture and If u tell anyone then I will send all this pics to ur friend as I got few of their number she said winking at him... vijay remembered the incident

Flash back (part 38)

vijay woke up and went to the washroom to freshen up ... meanwhile in the living area everyone was seated and talking neil was in the garden as he received a phone call.. riya, juhi , avni, neela and diksha were talking with each other, while daya was in her office when they heard a scream... without thinking vijay came out of his room running...

vijay: omg there is a scary clown in my room someone please save me.. he turned his attention towards the others he saw neela nd diksha first looking at him shockingly but then they covered their mouth trying to stop from laughing.

Even riya, avni and juhi tried to keep a staright face but ended up laughing...daya who was with dr saab came out... he looked at the mirror that was on the wall and saw that the clown was none other than him

daya: vijay beta what have u done to urself y have u got make up all over u... avni and riya had put lipstick, eye shadow, eyeliner mascara and blusher on vijay .

vijay: I don't know nani when I woke up this is what my state was like. Neela went towards the girls

Neela: did any of u do this she said eyeing the three especially riya and avni... when vijay heard neela ask the girls

Vijay: mami sa y u asking them

Neela: because they came to ur room to see what u were doing

Vijay: kya... then it definitely must be riya or avni im sure..juhi will never do that

Riya: arien vijay bhai it could be after we left someone must have applied make up on u she said trying to be all innocent

Vijay: ri my lovely sister even u know that no stranger is allowed in the mahal so its means one of u have done it

Avni: say cheese vijay bhai... And she quickly took a snap before running off

Vijay: avni delete the picture now

Avni: vijay bhai I didn't take the picture so that I can delete it

Vijay: avni im warning u

Avni: im not scared of u.. and she ran out of the garden... vijay was about to run behind her when riya and juhi got hold of him so that they can stop him from chasing avni and took him to his room to clean up his makeup

End of flash back

Vijay: avni u r not being fair

Avni: im being very fair vijay bhai... neil was smirking seeing avni this way. Avni walked out of the study and went to her room and after few minutes neil also left

Neil: wow princess I'm impressed

Avni: and u never leave a chance to flirt

Neil: not flirt princess I never leave a chance to romance he said stroking her waist avni was about to move away when neil carried avni and sat down on her bed with avni sitting on his laps... he tucked few hair behind her ear... Lets continue what we left downstairs

Avni: and what if someone comes

Neil: we will see about that later and I don't think vijay banna or chotti will come after what u said to vijay banna he said pulling her closer by her neck and kissed her bare shoulder... avni felt ticklish while she had this shy smile... neils lips then travelled to her neck and then to her jaws... and then rubbed his cheeks against hers.

Avni: neils she whispered

Neil: don't ever leave me princess he said barely whispering... avni was taken back and turned to look at him to see that his eyes were closed and he rested his forehead on her shoulders... avni lifted his face

Avni: neil please look at me... Neil opened his eyes and looked at her... what happened?... y do you think I will leave you

Neil: just said it like that princess he said smiling avni cupped his face

Avni: then don't say that again because I will never leave u and moved forward and kissed neil on the lips both had their eyes closed... neil nibbled on her bottom lips and stopped for a sec and then captured her lips again...

After a while

neil was sitting on avni bed with his head against the headboard while avni was sitting in front of him leaning on his chest while neil had his hands wrapped around her waist
