At Metha  place

One of the maid in the kitchen was preparing sweets for gods offering.

A lady was heading to the kitchen while adjusting her saree. Her hair was left down with a small bindi that matched her saree along with matching jewellery, even though she was the mother of two daughters she still maintained herself very well.

The maid looked up to see who was standing in front of her

Madhavi tai: good morning neela madam

Neela: morning madhavi  is the prashad(offering) ready?

Madhavi : ji madam ji just give me two minutes... I will place it in a plate for u

After a while Neela came from the kitchen holding the plate that had gods offering and went to the temple area  that had a big mata rani idol...she placed the plate on the side and sat down and started preparing the diyas (oil lamp).. after few minutes dayawanti came and started helping her make the diya

Neela: good morning dayawanti

Dayawanti: morning neela. Has Ashish woken up?

Neela: not yet maa but once I get the diya ready I will go and wake him and riya up for the Aarti

Dayawanti: when is avni coming back from her trip?

Neela: im not sure maa although its been a week since she and juhi have gone on a holiday...but I didn't ask her as this is her first holiday after she has completed her studies. So I thought let her enjoy but I think she called Ashish yesterday.... I will ask him if she told him anything

Dayawanti: hmm I hope she comes back soon
so me, avni and riya could have our late night ice cream treat. Neela laughed slightly

Neela: don't worry maa she will be back soon.

Dayawanti: ok you go and wake riya and Ashish up. While I will go and help madhavi with the breakfast

Neela reached to the her bedroom to see her husband sleeping she went near him and started tapping on his shoulder

Neela: Ashish...ashish... wake up ashish

Ashish: 5 minutes neela he said turning the other way

Neela: fine sleep for 5 minutes but if u get late for your meeting then don't say I didn't wake u up

Ashish woke up hearing the word meeting

Ashish: thanks for reminding me neela he said getting up and straight away went to have a shower.

Neela sorted out her bed before going to wake riya up.

Neela: riya come on wake up beta... its nearly time for the Aarti... riya got up hearing neela voice and sat on the bed rubbing her eyes and stretched her arms

Riya good morning mummzie she said hugging her

Neela: good morning now come on get ready.

Riya: cool I will be down soon

Neela came down and went to the kitchen to see dayawanti and madhavi getting the morning breakfast ready.

Dayawanti: did they both wake up beta?

Neela: ji maa by the time we start the morning Aarti they will be down

Around 8am neela and dayawanti were at the temple. Neela was lighting up the diya while dayawanti was standing behind her. Once she did that she picked up the aarti plate and started singing the Aarti song...

Till then Ashish came down followed by riya and both headed towards the temple area...

once the aarti was done everyone took prashad (offering) and went to the dining table to have breakfast and then get ready for their busy day

Neela was serving aloo paratha (potato stuffed chapatti) to Ashish and dayawanti while she gave riya  toast and omelette and sat down
.. she poured  some juice in the glass and turned towards Ashish

Neela: Ashish?

Ashish: hmm

Neela: avni called yesterday right?

Ashish: yh she did y wt happened

Neela: nothing I was just wondering when she will be coming back... riya laughed slightly.

Ashish: come on neela its only been a week since she has gone... let her enjoy besides she is with juhi so there is nothing to worry about.

Neela: I know that Ashish but I just wanted to know if she mentioned about when she will be back

Ashish: as for now she hasn't said anything and neither did I ask her. But all I know is that she is having fun.

Neela: as long as she is enjoying I don't mind .. by they way me, shweta and jugni will be going to some charity event

Ashish: hmmm make sure u take whatever u need... Riya beta I will drop u to college on the way

Riya: ok dad... all continued to have their breakfast.

Meanwhile in another country it was about 3am midnight... a guy was sitting on a bean bag working on his laptop... The light was dimmed so it was kind of hard to figure out his expression. He took a sip of his whisky and started typing again when all of a sudden someone walked into his room and closed the window as it was quite windy outside.

Guy: bro its 3am in the morning get some damn sleep. He said turning on the lights to see his brother not paying attention to him as he was busy on his laptop.

The guy got annoyed and moved forward and took the laptop off the guy and placed it on the table. He turned back to his brother who was looking at him angrily

Guy: NEIL don't give me that look.

Neil: I could have finished that work of... besides I didn't tell u to stay awake with me vidyut.

Vidyut: its not the end of the world... u have  some time before that project need to be handed in.

Neil: I don't like to keep things unfinished now give me the laptop he said coldly...

vidyut didn't move. Neil rolled his eyes and was about to take his laptop back but stopped when vidyut spoke

Vidyut: if u love badi maa (shweta) then u will get some proper sleep and continue ur work tomorrow... If you don't do wt I say then I will complaint to bade papa and badi maa. Then u can deal with them he said giving a cheeky smile.

Neil: don't think u won this time. he saved his work and closed his laptop... vidyut got happy while Neil looked at him coldly.

Vidyut: thank u my devil brother he said jokingly and gave him a hug and when he moved away he saw a small smile on Neil face which was rare

Neil: good night. Now get lost

Vidyut: good night... vidyut knew that he didn't have to check on Neil again as he would sleep now. Vidyut  went to his room and slept.

Few hours later in the same country. It was about 7 am and a girl was jogging on the payments of London road.

She had headphones in her ears and was enjoying the beautiful music while jogging
...around 7:30am she reached back to her hotel room to see her friend still sleeping

Girl: oye juhi wake up..

juhi didn't move and avni got an idea. She took out her phone and dialled juhi number and then answered it.

Girl: hi jugni aunty how r u?... ji im fine? yes we r going to London eye... juhi? ... no I cant give the phone to juhi as she is sl... Before she could speak juhi got up and snatched the phone

Juhi: maa I was having a shower. How r u?

when she didn't get any answer she looked at the girl  who was trying to control herself from laughing..

. juhi looked at the phone to see whose name was showing on her screen. She placed her hands on her hips while looking at the girl.

Juhi: avni ki bachi u pretended that maa called... did u know how scared I got. She said getting ready to run after avni who already moved away... both were running around their room that was quite big. They went to living area and both dropped down on the couch laughing

Avni: sorry baby I couldn't  help it but this was the only way to wake u up... Juhi hit avni lightly on the shoulder

Juhi: u have become very naughty. Chal I will go and freshen up

Avni: ok I will order breakfast till then.

Juhi: how about we have breakfast at a cafe

Avni: I don't mind as long as I get food. Juhi nodded and went to get ready while avni decided to call home.

In india it was around 12:30 in the afternoon...

neela was getting things ready to take some things with her to the charity event that she will be attending with jugni and shweta. She was making sure that all the items were ready  when she received a call from her mobile. When she saw the caller id it showed avni number

Neela: avni...Bacha  how r u

Avni: im good mama wt about u?

Neela: all gd... did u eat?

Avni: not yet I just came back from my morning jog... me and juhi decided to go and have breakfast at some cafe

Neela: ok but make sure u both eat and take care of yourself properly

Avni: don't worry mama will do by the way im sorry I couldn't speak to u yesterday when I called papa

Neela: its ok

Avni: where is everyone?

Neela: well ur dad has gone to office... riya is at college and maa has gone to temple and I am getting ready to a charity event

Avni: ohhh everyone is busy today.

Neela: hmm by the way maa is missing u a lot especially ur late night ice cream party she said laughing while avni had a big smile on her face

Avni: awww tell dadi that I will be back soon.  Ok mama I have to go and get ready as juhi is out now.

Neela: ok bye

Neela cut the call and told the driver and madhavi to put everything in the car while she went to see if jugni is ready. She was about to knock the door when jugni came outside all ready

Jugni: arien neela u came

Neela: haan I came to see if u r ready

Jugni: le ....of course I will be ready after all we wouldn't want to be late right?

Neela: rig... Before she could speak jugni spoke again

Jugni: come lets go... we have to go and pick up shweta too right.

Neela: yeh she said she is ready

Jugni: lets go then... and both walked to the car.

Meanwhile at khanna mansion 

shweta and ragini were folding the washed clothes.

Shweta: ragini y don't u come with us to this charity event

Ragini:  I would bhabhi but I had told u ma that I will clear things out of the store room today to give to the workers

Shweta: just come it will be fun and also we all could go for some shopping after...we can do the store room other time I'll help u then

Ragini:  ok im coming

Shweta: good... by the way have our sons called yet

Ragini: as usual no but where is kareena?

Shweta: she has gone out with her friend.

Ragini: bhabhi this house feels so incomplete when our kids are not about ... don't u think so?

Shweta: hmm but when our sons come back I will make sure they don't go away for so long..

After 40 mins neela and jugni reached outside shwetas house. they got out of the car and went in.

Ragini  was placing the fruit tray on the table when she saw neela and jugni and invited them in and made them sit down and told the servant to bring water for them

Neela: how r u ragini

Ragini: im fine neela  how r u and wt about u jugni ... neela was about to answer first but as usual jugni spoke

Jugni: oh ji we r fine shine what will happen to us. But how r u?

Ragini: im fin... jugni interrupted

Jugni: by the way where is shweta.

Ragini: she is upstairs I will just go and call her...

Ragini was about to go and call shweta when jugni stopped her

Jugni: ragini ji u don't worry I will call her... neela smiled as she knew how jugni will call her and silently laughed

Neela: ragini just see how she calls shweta she said quietly that only ragini could hear

Jugni: OYE SHWETA I THOUGHT U WERE READY. WE R HERE COME DOWN NOW SO WE ALL COULD LEAVE FOR THE CHARTIY EVENT

Ragini and neela laughed silently

Shweta came running down

Shweta: kya jugni... do u know how loudly u spoke im sure even the neighbours could hear u

Jugni: I am jugni and this is jugni style. All looked at each other and laughed

Shweta: lets go ragini has everything been put in the car

Ragini: yes

Shweta: neela, jugni even ragini will be coming with us... finally I managed to convince this fool to come with us this Time

Neela: u did the right thing

Shweta: by the way is everyone free after the charity event?

Neela: haan y?

Shweta: so we could go and do some shopping I mean even we have to right to spend our husbands money right.

Jugni: today is going to be the best day i cant wait for shopping but lets leave from here and go to the charity event...

all of them left the mansion and went to the car
...jugni sat at the front while shweta, neela and ragini sat at the back

Meanwhile in London it was around 8:20am juhi and avni were at the cafe enjoying the awesome breakfast

once they were done they paid the bill and headed out. avni was taking a sip of her cold coffee

Avni: juhi check the train time so we could catch the bus from here

Juhi: coolies.... Avni we will get of at parliament square station so it will take us about 10 mins to reach to London eye. But the train is coming in 25mins and the station from here is 10 mins away so do u want to walk it or get the bus

Avni: wt do u want to do

Juhi: walk it that will kill at least 10mins of our time

Avni: ok lets go.

Meanwhile at Neil's place... both the boys were at the dining table sitting opposite each other...

Vidyut was busy eating his omelette, and toast.
While Neil was busy reading the newspaper having his French toast and black coffee

Neil: vidyut did u confirm what the time the meeting is

Vidyut: yes they called me and said the meeting is around 9:30am near big ben but he will lets us know the exact location... we have two hours left and it only takes us about 30 mins to get there.

Neil: hmm but we will leave a little early I don't want to take a risk because of the traffic, he said coldly

Vidyut: don't worry bro. by the way I have the files ready for the meeting but just check it before we leave. Neil looked at vidyut

Neil: u sorted out the files right?

Vidyut: I did but I just want u to check. He said sipping his juice

Neil: if u have checked it then that's fine. I know there wont be any fault

Vidyut: haan but  just check It so I can relax knowing that u have gone though it

Neil: I trust u with my eyes closed vidyut and u know that ...if u have checked it and know everything is ok then that's final.

Vidyut: but

Neil: do u have any doubts and think u must have done something wrong?...

vidyut look at his plate for a second and then at neil... He looked at him for few seconds and gave a smile

Vidyut: nope because I made sure that everything is according to what u said.

Neil: end of discussion he said smiling slightly.

Around 9am the boys left in the car...

Neil was driving while vidyut was talking to the client that they were going to meet.

Vidyut: dw mr sharma we will be there soon... ok we will meet u there.

Neil: wt did he say ...he asked  paying attention on the road

Vidyut: mr sharma said he will be waiting for us outside big ben and from there we will head to some restaurant for a meeting... Neil nodded

at London eye avni and juhi were enjoying the view at London eye.

Though it was a long queue it was worth it... both were busy looking outside and were also taking picture. It took about 30-40 mins for them in the London eye. When they came out they took another selfie together.

Juhi: come lets walk around and see other things. 

The girls were actually enjoying walking around the place and taking pictures of the view and also of themselves.

Juhi: avni lets go near big ben and take pictures.

Avni: awesome lets go.

Neil packed the car at a parking lot and he and vidyut got out and walked towards big ben. Both were wearing suits but they had 3 top button of their shirt open.

Vidyut was looking around  walking ...while Neil was busy checking some mails on his phone.

Avni: juhi lets go a little closer to big ben.

Both carefully crossed the road and started taking funny selfies and sometimes juhi took avni picture while avni took juhi pictures... however avni decided to get a bit naughty

Avni: juhi go this side and pose and lean a little back. Juhi did as avni said and posed while avni took the picture. Juhi went near avni

Juhi: show me the pic I want to see how it came out.

Avni: see it after.

Juhi: baby show me na I just want to see if it came out good.

Avni: I said no na

Juhi: avni give me the camera

Avni: nooo.

Juhi: avni pleaseee she said pleading.

Avni: ok here she said laughing.

Juhi got happy but when she saw the picture she was shocked. There she was posing while a couple was behind her kissing and she was leaning a little back as if she was with them...

juhi: this is not fair avni.

Avni: everything is fair baby...

juhi started tickling avni and she was trying to move away telling her to stop.

Juhi; this is ur punishment sweetheart...first in the morning u pretended that maa called and now this. U r becoming naughty day by day...

juhi slightly pushed avni who was still laughing but since avni was not paying attention she bumped into vidyut who knocked his file. Avni turned around and saw this

Avni: im really sorry? I didn't see u coming

Vidyut: no its ok dw u don't need to be sorry..suddenly neil came from behind and spoke

Neil: girls like u should be careful and watch where u r going. U could have pushed my brother on the road.

Avni: excuse me?

Neil:  not excused I had seen u girls playing around on the payment, if u want to do stuff like this then do it at ur place don't do it over here. There r people who have to get somewhere. If the paper in this file had got damaged then what? Ur sorry wont work miss whoever u r so next time watch what u r doing  Come on vidyut lets go he said coldly

Avni stood there with her mouth open.

Juhi: sorry avni because of me u lost ur balance

Avni: wt a person... how rude can someone get ... I said im sorry and I didn't do it on purpose still he is lecturing.

Juhi: calm down

Avni: how can I calm down the person I bumped into said its fine I don't need to be sorry but this person out of the blue started been rude to me. She said still staring at Neil walking away 

Neil and vidyut walked further down and met mr sharma who took them to a nearby building and all three disappeared inside

So this is another story which I had written few years back and thought to try it on avneil
