A week later everything was okay in khanna house.. Neil recovered very soon.. Neil has starts going back to police station... avni hasn't told Neil about hers and dd plan.. Neil was investing the case..

It was fine fine morning when Neil wake up himself  early and looks at avni who was slapping hugging him.. he gently caressed her cheeks and bend down to peck her both chubby cheeks.. he then kissed her forehead... he got off the bed but before covering avni with duvet... he walked to washroom...

Soon Neil comes out after having shower in towel wrapped his waist and with his left ruffling his hair... he looks up and saw avni yawing.. he smiled at her and made his way to her...

Neil : good morning wifey!

Avni stopped yawing and looked at Neil with her mouth wide open making Neil chucking at her... Neil moved close to her and kept his hand in her hair...

Neil : still sleeping!

Avni nods lightly making him nods...

Neil : why did you wake then? Sleep more.

Avni : but...

Neil : no but! You slept late yesterday night. You tried yourself with these night shift... don't work too much wifey... take rest.. hmm!

He said while rubbing his finger in her hair...

Avni : your breakfast?

Neil : don't worry about me.. mom Bebe will make it.. you sleep... okay..

Avni : okay!

Neil smiled and kissed her head then moved to his closet while avni laid down back on bed and closed her eyes.... she slept again as she hit the bed... she was really tried from last night shift and one week was hectic for her too as Neil's health wasn't fine.. she would be waking up late to see him staring at the ceiling or working on his laptop... she knew he was still worried his family...

Neil came back in his room changing into police uniform.. he saw Avni sleeping... he took his cap and went down not before locking the door from behind...

He walked down and saw Bebe and swetha in hall.. he smiled and walked to them..

Neil : good morning ladies!

Both of ladies turns to Neil and smiled..

Ladies : good morning Neil!

Bebe : avni?

Neil : Bebe avni is sleeping... she is tried from yesterday shift so I told to take rest..

Swetha : and she slept!

Neil nods..

Swetha : Bebe you see Avni listen to Neil only.. not for once she disobeyed him... well that's good she is taking rest...  Neil come I will serve you breakfast...

Neil nods and follows swetha..

After having breakfast Neil left khanna house to police station... while going to police station he saw bunch of boys were running behind someone... Neil parked his car at side and followed the boys.....

He was running behind the boys when himself didn't realise Where he was heading to...

Neil stopped running and found himself alone.....

Neil : shit... where could they go?

Neil turned back to go but stopped hearing noise... he followed the noise and found the same bunch of boys gathered in circle and laughing... Neil fisted his Hand hearing the boy.....

While the bunch of boys were laughing and making comments on girl who was laying on the floor and she looked sacred...

Boy : she looks hot.... today she won't be Alive...

Boy 1: you right... let's have her.....

Before the boy 1 one could touch the girl someone pulled him back.... the boy fell down while others boys looked at the person and saw Acp Neil khanna... before Neil could get hold of the same boy they ran away...

Neil bend down on his knees and called the girl who was on the floor sitting close to her knees...

Neil : excuse me...listen you don't need to be scared... I'm acp Neil khanna ....nothing has happened to you....please get up...you safe now... those boys won't harm you.... excuse me....

Neil was going to touch the girls shoulder when the girl herself lifted her head up and looked at Neil... Neil got shocked seeing the girl face.... his eyes starts become watery... he was still zoned out when her voice made him come out... Neil shook his head thought he is overthinking....

Neil povs: what am I thinking? How can she be here? No Neil... you are overthinking... stop Neil.. she can't be....

He looked at her and with teary eyes....

Neil : y....o...u ...?

He fumbled with his words...

The girl looked at him...

Girl : Juhi..... please save me sir... they will kill me....

Neil looked at her thinking why those boys were behind Juhi.....

Neil : come with me.....

Neil stood up and gave his hand to her... while Juhi being sacred moved back... Neil saw this...

Neil : I won't harm you... you can trust me... come...

Juhi held his hand and stood up... Neil gave her little smile...

Neil : where do you live?

Juhi got startled hearing him...

Juhi : woh......

Neil : don't be afraid... where do you live?

Juhi: woh.......I don't.... know....

Neil stopped walking and looked at her...

Neil: you don't know where you live?... do you have any contact number...

She nods no making Neil sigh..Neil thought something....

Neil : get inside...

Juhi sat down while Neil leaned to his car door and took his phone out and dialled Avni's number...

Neil : hello wifey.... sorry to disturb your sleep but something is important....

While another side in khanna house... Avni was
Sleeping peacefully with smile on her face..... her sleep got disturb by call... without opening her eyes she stretched her arms and got hold of her phone... she kept her phone near her ears....

But hearing Neil's voice she spoke like jolt and sat on bed holding her forehead....

Avni : Neil..... what happened?

Neil :  actually..... there is girl who was chased by boys and I am with her... but she doesn't where she lives... what should I do now?

Avni : take her to station? Someone will come there for her.... don't worry about this much...

Neil : okay...

Neil ended the call and sat in car and drove to police station without telling her or bothering about her....
