Of broken promises
One made to himself

Mistakes never make you weaker

They are never
Solid definition
Of what you could be
Or of what you failed to be

They can be mended
Rectified and repainted
As your destiny's best remarks.

Mistakes make you stronger

They make you strive to be better
They make you feel
The agony of being pushed away
From what you wanted
Only to be pulled towards
What you truly deserved

Mistakes in such a way
Make you stronger
